The dashboard gives overall analytics of all my projects in one view
I wish there was a native application not only web based.
A great way of keeping tabs on resources allocated. It has helped manage the people assigned to projects and minimize over-committing some employees
I really like the Gannt view and the dashboards as they help me visualize the timeline and the schedule and what needs tobe accomplished on and day.
It is sometimes hard to understand the steps needed to accomplish what needs to be done. I also wish it had some Excel-like tendencies and I could add columns to add and subtract different columns together
We use it to track large manufacturing projects, and it lets us know when we are on track or off track. It benefits us by allow multiple people to see where we are at anytime or location.
Gantt Chart view for projects - once you get your head around how to use each view, it does make project management a lot easier. `
It can be a little tricky to get all team members on board, as it can be overwhelming to understand at first.
Project task scheduling - when giving employees new tasks, it helps to have the task schedule, gantt, or other list in front of them to lay out the required steps for any given task.
Scheduling in the desktop version is a great feature. The dashboard, in theory, has great features as well, but needs a little improvement. Its not perfect, but for the price is better than others and easier.
The dashboard needs a little improvement by calculating time ahead/behind schedule based off the baseline dates, and not planned dates as those are moving as the projects progress. The mobile app needs a lot of improvement and is fairly limited to the point we have deemed it useless.
I'm not aware of them solving any problem. I asked if they could add a feature to use the dashboard to formulate off of the baseline dates vs planned dates, but did not get a very good response. Currently how it is set up, causes it to be very misleading.
The software offers the most complex possibilities for task connections of all the web-based softwares. Easy to use Dashboards.
The export of timesheets doesn't offer a monthly overview of logs grouped according to projects or tasks.
The planing of multiple complex projects. Workload balancing.
It's a pleasing device to manage your projects with such a lot of advanced features. It's fantastic to have a strong aid team every time we wanted extra assistance. The reporting feature is outstanding - lets you personalize the reporting, and export it into excel which may be very person-friendly. It is reasonably clean to use the reports you may make are excellent and it enables with managing of initiatives. The help crew is very responsive and is good at identifying the troubles and speaking solutions. It does all the standard venture scheduling and tracking that you'd count on from the software. It is a traditional Project management device that could be very user-friendly and is simple to use. This device is one of all types.
A project supervisor has some bugs that prevent you from the use of the software program to its full volume. There are nonetheless pretty some system faults in it that do not assist you to get the overall capacity out of the software. Also, there are a few things like inputting and assigning sources against duties which might be long and very guide tactics that then have many exceptions to the rule. There also are a pair of news that do not deliver the desired effects.
The customizable task dashboard tells customers at-a-look whether their tasks and the team are on course. Create, screen, and proportion project plans online, with a couple of perspectives for the crew. As they paintings on obligations, assignment plan updates are made mechanically in actual time. Empower groups with easy venture control for all their initiatives. They can see which tasks they need to do these days on their task lists, even supposing they had been assigned to more than one task at one time. Generate terrific popularity, workload, timesheet reports, and more at the click of a button. Report on tasks, resources, or a portfolio. Export reports to PDF, Word, or Excel or e-mail them to a colleague. It customizes perspectives for teams. On their task list, they could view best the responsibilities they’ve been assigned, and see what's coming up and what's overdue. They can create their very own "to-do lists" and see discussions they’re concerned about. Collaboration is intuitive, and all discussions are stored properly with the tasks, so nothing gets lost in email.
The tool will allow excellent monitoring of your work and activities in terms of resources to be used and the time taken to start the project proposed by the members of a team within the organization. How most of the tools also allow easy communication between users and has the freedom to download any type of document either: photos, daily reports, signatures, among others.
At the time of making a change or modifying a document the update is somewhat delayed and makes it cumbersome, due to this the work process is delayed a bit. It should have a little more capacity, since when loading large documents it costs a bit.
The tool was implemented in the organization since it is a fairly complete tool when keeping track of our projects that we wish to carry out within the company. It is a tool that allows to know and measure the time, resources and finances that merit for the execution of a project. Through software we can know how much time team members take to prepare reports in a group or individually. It allows the automatic download of those documents that come in different formats and that facilitates the download in real time so that it can be reviewed by the clients without any inconvenience.
ProjectManager assists us in schduling tasks in real time. Being able to look at tasks with team and adjusting is a big plus. Seeing where we are at and adjusting is very beneficial.
Some of the views are more difficult to get to. Can't integrate Microsoft Projects tool to create a schdule of tasks. Asigning new taks or steps of that task could be done in less steps
Being able to move tasks around in real time is crucial. Having team together even if we are not is a great benefit. We can see what percentage of a task is done at anytime during the day. Assigning taks to specific people works really well.
PM helps organizations to manage their projects in a better manner. It helps you track milestones and also gives you timely reminders in case of any delays. Further, it helps you to effectively manage resources.
There are a lot of tasks which cannot be managed in PM. It also doesn't provide solutions for contract management. Besides, customer support is very bad too and one needs to wait for resolution.
I am working as project manager. And PM helps me to align my tasks in a better manner. Resources are also better managed by this. I find it very helpful as far as project management is concerned.
Ability to view resource availability across projects
It would be great if we can create dependencies across project tasks Ability to define a master project schedule based on subprojects
Able to schedule tasks across multiple projects, especially with shared resources
It's not only convenient but it's a necessity that any project management tool offers full integration with our company's existing software. The fact that this is able to seamless do so across Salesforce and Dropbox, and several others is what I like best.
While it's intuitive and straightforward, I think wish the customization to the plans were a bit more robust in terms of formatting its presentation.
One of the biggest challenges or barriers is getting cross-functional teams to fully commit and utilize this. So I like the fact that this PM tool mitigates barriers and makes accessibility across devices seamless.
Features such as the Gantt Chart and Overview View. But all of this comes at a very high cost.
ProjectManager is not competitive, only really caters to larger organizations, not smaller ones. I would recommend you try to match Trello. Trello is used by a variety of IT Industries, and it is our go to everytime. Perhaps consider a free restricted version?
Project Management, Time Management, Progress on Projects can be evaluated
I like that tool, provides different functions which allow you to maintain an internal communication with the entire team, achieving that tasks are developed in the best way and thus improve collaboration among all members of the team.
its capacity can be limited for a few moments, which can make it difficult to manage and use, but this can be improved in a matter of a few minutes..
This tool is very useful to develop and execute an increase in collaboration between all members of the work team, thus improving communication and performance of the working group.
the huge overview of the projects, the workload for each developer, we can see the workload based on hours thats great, we can organize our developer over all projects, the reporting is good
We have a huge extra effort with the capacity planning. If i set a day in the calender as a holiday or non working day. The tool count and show the hours in the work flow. We do not work on a holiday and we have extra effort to set those hours on 0. We have a lot of Task in a project. If i forget to set the holidays to 0, our capacity planing is wrong. If we do not solve this problem this will be the show stoper for this tool in our project planning.
If we can not solve the problem with the capacity planing an the imports/API we can not use this tool further on
It has the feature set we were looking for in a PM tool.
The UX is kludgey. It's very closed and unless you pay significantly more your data is trapped. We've had a number of issues with bugs - clearly they rushed this out. It's not very customizable or intiutitive.
We're trying to ensure that all of our project managers have a single source of truth, but it's difficult to use, ZERO mobile usage, and gets VERY expensive VERY quickly.
The interface and online platform are easy to use and the linking is also easy. Any one slightly familiar with different software could use this one. Even if you're used to other types of formatting, the tutorials are clear and helo you navigate the basics.
Several things: The fact that you can't change working days while working or scheduling a project is absurd. Do I have to restart the whole project with export/import? Also, for the text in cells, the ability to be able to write on 2 lines in the same cell should be made available. For the linking and scheduling, it should be that the FS/SS... Links are forced on an end date after it was changed even if the previous date was set after the early finish of an activity. If I want to postpone the activity, I'll just add lags myself.
Construction and renovation schedules. The ability to be able to modify online was good as there was no need to export/import files. It is also compatible with other versions of Gantt shart software makes it a flexible to use the software if you have several parties trying to modify the project's schedule.
Not only does it offer an amazing way to visualise projects, but also helps us in scheduling tasks efficiently. It enables me to make micro adjustments and offers different tupes of views also like list view, dashboards, charts etc
As such there is nothing major to dislike about ProjectManager but following things can be improved: Experience for a first time user Optimising the search engine
It rnables me to visualise milestones for everyone involved It also enables me to visualise gantt charts
Visualising milestones clearly for everyone involved from coordinators to stakeholders. The ability to make micro-adjustments on the fly for projects, sending and receiving notifications and generally improving my flow.
I would prefer some more customisations, e.g. custom profiles for my team with custom dashboards and styles so we can get to exactly what we need and feel like we own the platform we are using.
Visually managing our projects end to end with clear milestones and fully tracking project data that can be exported and used elsewhere.
ProjectManager is a project management tool that's simple to use and understand. The project control panel, which can be freely modified, makes it simple to monitor ongoing projects in real-time. This is a one-of-a-kind tool.
This software has a lot of features that I appreciate, and new ones are updated on a regular basis.
The most significant advantage I've noticed is having everything listed and arranged on my mobile device. It's a great bonus to be able to simply share projects and track timeframes with team members.
project manager is great for long or short running programs that have many locations to be completed within a certain time period. It is useful to download store/job-specific files like pdf, docs, daily reports etc. overall it has made workload easy and creative
I personally did not find any difficulty while using it, it is working efficiently as expected and has saved a lot of time form work and make life very easy and work to run.
Creating job schedule and milestone, which provides as well as ease the work, It is a one-stop for downloading/uploading any job/site-specific, documents. Reak time communication as soon as an issue has been raised within
