Using Jira Core, I can track bugs and features and see who is working on what. And to assign bugs, I don't have to visit Jira. I can directly assign from my IDE.
With Jira Core, I can't use all the features like boards, software functions, etc. to use all the features, I have to purchase a Jira software license separately.
It solves all the problems related to project management. I can assign task. I can track all features and also predict deadlines more efficiently. this is the only software I need for Project Management. Of course one has to also buy the Jira software license separately.
Task categorization by business unit and functional activity
The UI/UX can be more seamless. Making forms easier to create by non IT personnel.
Tracking issues and solution history for compliance, legal and performance reasons.
Collaboration between different business units is awesome. The integration and automation is out of this world along with customizable workflows. Advanced MIS reporting helps keep management happy.
It's by developers for developers hence coding skills is a must for customisation leading to a steep learning curve which can only be solved by developers and non-dev product managers find it tough to fulfil the dream on their own.
All project related queries are solvable in a single place in real-time with lots of customisations. Everyone in the team remains sync to what needs to be done helping development teams focus on need.
One of the significant advantages of Jira Core is its high level of customization. It allows you to create custom issue types, workflows, and fields to fit our needs.
Jira Core can be complex to set up and configure, especially for non-technical users. The customization options can also be overwhelming for some users. Some users find the Jira Core user interface less intuitive and user-friendly than other project management tools.
Jira Core tracks and manages projects, creates workflows and assigns team members tasks. It allows you to create custom project boards, issue types, and workflows to suit our needs. We also created custom fields to track additional information and use plugins and add-ons to extend its functionality.
User-friendly GUI and lots of good options available.
Not so far. Many things to explore next.
It helps to plan the work and review the progress at any time during anytime frame of development.
One of the things I appreciate most about Jira Core is its flexibility and customization capabilities. The platform allows me to easily tailor it to the specific needs of my team and projects, making it a versatile tool that can be used for a wide range of tasks. I also appreciate the robust project management features, such as task assignment and tracking, which help keep my team organized and on track. Additionally, Jira Core's integration with other tools and user-friendly interface make it easy for me to access and utilize important project data. Overall, Jira Core is an essential tool for effectively managing and collaborating on projects.
One aspect of Jira Core that I have found to be less user-friendly is the navigation within the system. Finding specific features and settings can be difficult, and the interface can sometimes feel cluttered and overwhelming. The customization options for particular elements, such as the dashboard, are also limited. While Jira Core offers many powerful project management tools, I think the interface could be improved to make it more user-friendly.
Jira Core is a project management tool that helps teams to collaborate effectively and organize their work. One of the main problems that Jira Core is solving is the lack of communication and coordination among team members. By using Jira Core, team members can easily track the progress of their tasks, set deadlines, and assign tasks to specific team members. Additionally, Jira Core allows team members to easily share and access project-related documents and files, improving the team's overall efficiency and productivity. Jira Core has dramatically benefited me by providing a clear overview of the project status and tasks. I can easily track my work items and those of my team members, which allows me to plan my workload better and stay on top of deadlines. Furthermore, Jira Core will enable me to easily collaborate and communicate with my team members, improving our overall quality. Jira Core is a valuable tool that has dramatically improved how my team and I work together.
It is user friendly for project management purposes specially for Gant charts. Data management and reporting is very easy. It is also highly configurable and customizable. Jira is a industry standard and a brand name and value
I don't see any pitfalls. It fulfills all my expectations. The only thing it needs time and guidance to explore all features and functionalities. Certain flows and mechanism can be made even better.
project management and gant charts were never so easy. Since it hosts on cloud, you never lose any data. It is not very costly and seamlessly integrated with other or any type of cloud features.
It's core collaboration across all teams. It helps greatly in agile project management. Project work moves quickly and transparently across the organization. One of the best tools I have ever used for PM practices.
I still feel some areas of improvement. Its look and feel are of them. Sometimes it gets too complicated for a user to navigate through options and find per right choice.
My project management-related tasks especially projects are to be treated in an agile framework. Team management and task delegation. Collaboration and sync-up. My business performance has increased over years.
IT process handling in JIRA CORE. ISSUE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM and other IT systems are best to use
NOTHING. I like the handling of issue management system and other IT processes
The best part of JIRA core is to handle all IT processes easily
Tracking of issue is easy and we can monitor the progress of task
It doesnt have integration capacity with some tools like Datadog and EFK
We can able to track the progress of each sprint and also assign the story points based on complexity
Speedy construction of a system, flexible resources, and ease of introducing new technologies—these are advantages of cloud systems in comparison with on-premises systems. However, companies cannot always enjoy those virtues just by migrating a system to the cloud. Trying out something
We decide. We control. We create." For the company, the project of migration to Microsoft Azure was also an opportunity to change the corporate culture to an organization that makes the most of the cloud.
Nothing will found using with me
Jira has so many workflows available for different tasks. Also we can design our company's project management flow as we like using the flexible features of the software.
Sometimes it gets complicated to use. I have to search a lot for an issue I have reported merely minutes ago. Search should be more intuitive.
As our company expands our workflow gets more complicated. Jira allows me to monitor everyone's tasks and task completion with the help of a 1 shot dashboard for every project.
Here are few points that according to me are best : 1. Smooth integration with Project side TMS and client side TMS 2. Simultaneous capacity to handle multiple releases. 3. The functions such as Assignee and watchers are always on point which makes our task easier in resolving discrepancies.
User interface is bit like a hidden mystery. Lots of internal functionality is not easily explorable I felt. A little lag sometimes when we try to navigate from one parent release to different. Sometimes it does not respond .
When we are delivering a product/solution to a client we don't just deliver it in one go if that's a digital transformation project in my case. We do it in multiple releases under which multiple sprints are there with set of features bundled. So to build multiple sprints we need a central place where we gather business requirements and convert it into a logical solution . Jira provides us that solution where different teams of domains simultaneously start assembling the solution .this way we are able to deliver the entire solution.
When we create project with Scrum or Kanban Boards. For Scrum we can create boards for two weeks and estimate time for that. UI is very useful and helpful for everyone.
We cannot prepare automation for workflow and status. Also, boards cannot communicate with each other. If we can make basic automation for all board and status it can be more useable.
We can run Scrum Sprints perfectly. We can manage all the tasks with in the correct way. Creating roles and assigning the people according to roles is more useful for any Project.
We can easily manage and enable technicals to work closely with the team and can monitor the shared view of results. I liked the view which it provides for us and monitoring is also very good. It also provides faster turn around time while working on projects and many more features are available.
A few of the things which I didn't like are as per the below. loading time - it sometimes creates problems at the time of tracking and loading the tasks. Queue management is good but could be better.
I used this tool a lot for the management of work at the project, team or individual level, which helps a lot to track monitor and calculate the team performance metrics. It also increases transparency with the organization.
