The multiple options for manage projects, also we can chat in the group, upload documents, manage the project with kanban and others methodologies I'm glad I had the app
Need a CRM or Pipesales for sales and control. It's important to us have all the information in the same platform, and I think this feature will enhance the use of the app
The opportunity to collaborate not only with my team, also with my clients. They are amaze to have all the information in one place, also they love the feeling that his projects are in hands of a PRO, that because how we manage the project. Thats amazing
Task management - Assigning tasks and managing is easy
Nothing specific but if it was also available as APP, would have been better
Using Nifty to work on a project plan with Stakeholders, it gives a good view on What is Pending, What is closed and What is in progress which is very important for any Project Head
Easy to set up project templates. It's intuitive, easy to use, yet a robust tool with a lot of power
Would like more collaborative team templates that can be used cross functionally
Small business needs
Everything in Nifty is easier than I imagined it might be. And it is simple. Not talking about perfect customer support.
So far I have not bumped into a dislike, but I've been quite new with Nifty, there would definitely be some.
I am more organized as a person. I used to be a mess in my tasks. A simple distraciton was enough to get me off track and to change my focus somewhere else. Nifty is so comfortable for me to use - it does not push me anywhere, it only shows me a way in a gentle manner, that it does not matter if I got distracted. I still remember where I was interrupted so I can continue... sooner than a customer reminds me to .)
The kanban works great, tasks and subtasks are nice and the app is so handy and works well
Loading times are not that great, but at least they make it less annoying with the inspirational quotes
Teamwork is great on nifty, communication is fluid and zoom integration does make it easy to communicate with your team.
I really like that you can make tasks dependent upon other tasks so that whether or not your team is working in the same time zone or shifts, everyone knows exactly what step we're at and what's coming next.
I do find the font could be a little larger, but I just make use of the zoom in browser and we're all set.
We're using the tool across departments, but also for onboarding new team members. It's been incredibly useful, especially when onboarding somebody remotely.
Nifty is easily one of the best product management tools that I have used. It is very well designed, the software works as you would expect, easy on the eye and works as you would expect. It's especially intuitive if you have come across from one of the other big name tools out there that have similar functionality such as Trello, Wrike or Asana. One of nifty little features I like is the dark mode option which is super slick and just awesome. The software options are very simple and easy to setup to your liking, such as notification settings.
On Windows Nifty often won't update automatically forcing me to re download the latest version which can be annoying, as an admin I would like to have a quick view option to preview what each of my invited users does or doesn't have access to save back and forth if a certain permission or access has been missed.
I often work remotely especially since the pandemic started, it's paramount that I am able to quickly convey and receive information with my collaborators in the most streamlined manner possible across multiple projects, - Nifty gives me the ability to quickly get up to speed on projects without sifting through emails or instant messages not only with my colleagues but also directly with clients.
I tryed a couple diffrent tools and i always feel like the functionality is very limited, or there is just to much stuff that is unnecessary. With Nifty, when i look for something, it is there and when i want to get things out of the way i can just make it dissapear out of different screens. This is was i call a good software. A software that just offers you the solutions you need when you need them. I also really enjoy the fact that nifty is not only accessable from the browser but also works as Desktop App and they even have a Smartphone app - which is great for clients to use.
For some reason Guests/Clients can see the Milestone view in a list form in the nifty app but they can't see the Timeline view - which in my option is very important for the clients. I will contact their them to change this in the future.
I manage a lot of projects and multiple companys with nifty. Even if it was just what i do alone it really helps to keep track of everything and prioritize my work. When starting to use it i thought i would have issues getting all my tasks registerd in nifty´, but honestly it was way faster than i thought and things were just going. Also clients love to see what we have planned for them.
Nifty is stable, beautiful, and fast. It has transformed the way we manage projects within our company, and given us a new way to be transparent with clients about their projects. - When they release new features, it is done in a way that never comprises stability. - Nifty has tons of options for customization, but not so many that it feels overwhelming. - Our clients love the interface, and prefer using this over email (a HUGE plus). - The interface is powerful for the admins, and easy to understand for clients first logging in.
There is very little I dislike about Nifty. Rather, there are a few features I'd like to see included (that it currently doesn't offer). - I'd love to have proposals/invoicing through Nifty, so I can scrap my other CRM. - I'd love to have onboarding videos (or first time tutorials) to help new clients learn all that the system can do. - I'd love to have a ticketing functionality in time, allowing clients to make support requests that get mapped to the system. All these things though are "nice-to-haves," and their absence doesn't change my interest in the software.
The main difficulty in scaling a creative studio is staying organized, and keeping clients informed. Nifty has helped us with this a lot, and has really, really cut down on the need to check email so often (which can be a huge time drain). The primary benefits we've realized is how encouraging it is to us (the creative studio) and the client to see the percentage bar on the milestones change on a daily basis. The overview tab is a really, really nice touch as well! The main benefit is reduced stress (for all parties), and never needing to guess what you need to work on in a given day.
Having tried a number of project management solutions in the past, I like that NiftyPM offers a very full mix of the types of features I found useful in others, with an easy to use interface. We manage web design, content marketing, social media and advertising campaigns. Nifty's built in project templates can be used to quickly scaffold a project, and customized as needed to work for your team...no clunky setup required. With task lists, subtasks, Kanban boards and milestone views, you maintain control over how deep you want to go in terms of project management. It also provides task based time tracking, which we use quite a bit. I also like the comment threads in each project that can be used for team communication, note recording, etc. The ability to store docs internally is also helpful. These can be native "Nifty" docs, or Google docs/spreadsheets/presentations. And files of other types can be uploaded as part of the project: PDFs, graphics, documents, etc. I imported projects from Asana, and the result was quick and pain-free. Plus, it offers native integrations with apps like GitHub, Slack, Google Suite and Zoom, and a deep set of Zapier zaps.
As with most tools like this, setting up detailed project timelines with lots of nested tasks gets repetitive when it comes to assigning tasks and due dates individually. This is not specific to Nifty, but it would be great to have some easy defaults that can trickle down automatically and be changed as desired.
Project management is faster and more flexible that under similar systems. And we now have a cloud-based source of truth for developing project knowledge.
I like have an overview of all projects and tasks.
I really wish there was a preset per list or project similar to Omnifocus so I can have a default due date of 3 days, week or whatever I normally would have. My To-do for Website Updates would need a due date of 24-48 hours for example.
Organizing my clients and the projects/tasks for each.
It gives you a broader vision than just cards. With Nifty, you can connect cars to form milestones. Besides that, I can simple move cards across different boards and also Standish communication with my workmates through it if I want to. It’s been very helpful.
For now, Nifty has been very helpful for the team. He didn’t have any major problems with it.
With Nifty, I can create projects using the milestones tab. Also, I can check the team’s progress across different projects, which has been very useful for us.
Nifty has all the tools we need to organize our projects and they continue to add to that tool set. The great looking, easy to read Dashboard (everyone loves the dark mode) make it popular with our employees. Uptime has been reliable and customer support has been top notch.
I'm not in love with the email to a project functionality. I've seen other PM tools that have a more streamlined approach than Nifty.
Communication with our remote team of devs has been much improved and the Github integration makes it that much harder for bugs to fall through the cracks.
Being a cloud based project management solution is enabling all our team to have remote access, communicate through direct messaging and attached files to the relevant task areas Having previously use standalone project software, NIfty has helped us take a great leap forward in how we do things Tip - Using dark mode is useful when doing webinar/Zoom type meetings as it is easier to read against a dark background
Mmmm. There isn’t much to dislike. Maybe the inability to zoom in when sharing on a Webinar to enable everyone to read the content easily?
Being able to delegate tasks and sub-tasks, balance the workload from the dashboard and set off a timer for more urgent tasks has enabled us to up our project productivity by some 20%. Nifty is also our ‘one truth’ of what’s going on
The features allow us to use it as we see fit and we are able to integrate contractors into the process for documentation. That aspect was nice since third parties never want to use systems that require a whole lot of legwork this was simple. I am an older engineer, set in my way and a younger engineer brought this onboard. I gave it a shot solely for due diligence, anticipating giving it the once over and passing on it. It ended up that everything i wanted to do had a process.
Tutorials are somewhat lacking in high level detain.
We needed to organize our projects and define staff roles with documentable production targets
