Reasonable price for performance. If we compare them simply in terms of performance, we feel that Asana and Monday.com are superior. However, when looking at the balance with price, I think Nifty is more cost-effective.
As for the chat function, more usability can be improved. (Slack, Skype, etc. are better) We would like to avoid integration with external tools as much as possible, so we expect Nifty's chat to become more Slack-like in usability.
We were looking for a simple, centralized project management system that was also reasonably priced, and Nifty solved that problem.
The clean layout with a good amount of controls and views over your project makes it easy to stay on track. Setting recurring tasks, creating documents in the app itself and the option to communicate directly in the app with the team is something that I like very much. I also feel that the pricing is probably the best among comparable products with good storage limits, providing better value for larger teams.
There is much to like about nifty but there are always things that can be improved upon. As a product management tool, the number of views can always be more. For me personally, I am a huge fan of tables, unfortunately, nifty does not have a table view. Another thing that is becoming huge with upcoming times is automations & integrations, and this is where I feel that nifty seriously lacks at the moment of writing this review. They recently have made integrations with zapier but other similar services are still yet to be considered. However, I am positive as the team backing the product seems to be responsive and is continuously trying to make the product better.
I personally use to manage all my tasks over various projects in a single place. I also use it to showcase the development and timelines to potential stakeholders.
+ possibility to assign more than 1 person to a task + awesome and responsive support + neat and intuitive UI + customizable, I can switch off the chat function which we don't use so the UI stays sleek + dependencies and milestones + Gantt view + Great features like integrated time tracking and custom fields that allow us to customize tasks to our needs + we can add unlimited guest collaborators!! + compared to other pm software best pricing for small teams (flat rate not price per member) + discount for Non-Profits
- mobile app needs some improvement but I mainly use it on desktop anyway
We needed a solution for effective project management with our small team. Nifty brings great possibilities to add details to tasks and also to add task dependencies and milestones. Great to switch between views (Kanban, List, Gantt).
I really like the fact that there are these milestones. It helps me visually see where I need to pause and work on overdue work vs constantly filling my queue. It was very Asana-esque. Really loving the time feature so I can see how much time I've spent. I like that you can "save" some items in the top by minimizing it - makes them easier to find. Would be better if we could pin them, though.
There doesn't seem to be a way to link tasks easily. While it is similar to Asana, there were some major differences - like being unable to have a task on multiple boards/projects. It's not easy to tell what is still being timed - it's a very small thing in the bottom left corner and more than once I've forgotten to stop a timer so it went on for days. I feel like the UI could be a bit improved as well. It was so like Asana, but then as I started using it some things were more difficult to navigate. Overall nothing that stops me from using the product. There does not seem to be a way to contact support. At least once I felt like there was a bug but had no way of reporting it (that I could find).
I'm trying to be more organized without feeling like I'm drowning. I feel like the way it's set up I can better see what's missed and plan accordingly.
The best thing about it is that it is incredibly easy to use. There is nothing messy in it like other software. This tool gives us the golden opportunity to get feedback from almost all team members. Having this tool is just like a blessing to me because I never miss deadlines after having this. Its learning curve is minimum. This is completely well designed and well developed tool.
I am more than satisfied with this tool. I feel very happy to use this superb tool. Its splendid customer support is always a huge benefit for me. I do not face any trouble so far. However if it occur accidently then its immediate customer support always satisfy me by giving reliable solutions.
This is most easy to use project management tool than any other. It saves our precious time that needs to be spent on launching data. Another important thing is that it offers very understandable and intuitive interface. It comprises of all multiple features such as goals, schedules, startups, system discussions and many other.
It operates as 1 streamlined and efficient ecosytem, taking the best functions from overpriced software such as Asana and Jira, but doing so at a fraction of the price.
Nothing. I cannot express how superior Nifty is to Asana, Jira, Basecamp, and all the others you need to pay for to have the functionality of Nifty.
Cross-Departmental Communication is a huge problem solved. I am able to tell exactly where every project stands across the entire firm, and I am able to tell who has the bandwidth to take on more responsibility without having to waste time asking.
The best thing I like about Nifty is the overview dashboard for each project. This feature is easy for anyone to get a quick look into what is happening around the projects
Text editor. Text editor in Nifty is very basic and limited in features
Easy project management tools for agile team
I like how Nifty looks and feels when using. The dark and light modes are gorgeous. I can divide my projects and tasks in an intuitive way, and track how much time I spend on projects. The overview, workloads, and calendar views are helpful for keeping on top of my work.
I can't think of any downsides of Nifty itself. They are constantly updating with new features and functionality, which makes me feel good about using Nifty for the long-term.
I used to keep track of all of my projects in Word documents, and calendar apps. It was very disorganized. Now I can see everything I'm working on in one app. Nifty is not only great for keeping organized, the beautiful UI encourages me to use the program, and stay on top of my tasks.
