Automation and easy to connect. It was a pleasant way to setup and integrated the data.
The only downside is the pricing structure. It was expensive but worth it. Also need to work on the CX design for Google Sheet addon
We were manually updating our data from different sources, and it cost us so much unproductive time and additional money. But now, with Super-metrics, we have automated the process and are also accurate (manual sometimes causing issues). Thanks. 😊
Supermetrics is easy to use, reliable and has an expansive collection of data connections that they are always adding. Those are pretty much the three things you look for in this type of service.
The least helpful thing about Supermetrics is the pricing. It's definitely on the higher end of solutions. More than that they are constantly changing the lineup of connectors for certain tiers and whenever you make changes to a subscription you can lose sources you just assumed would be there. It's happened to us multiple time.
It allows us to connect to multiple data sources for the dozens of businesses we work with. It helps us be more productive and we've seen performance increases. It saves time and money through much better productivity.

I like the functionality with Google Sheets. It works as you think it would work. If you're familiar with creating reports in Excel using Pivot Table then you will have no problem using Supermetrics.
Sometimes the data doesnt automatically refresh so it required a few extra clicks. But the data flows quickly and updates properly. I just wish there were not as many bugs.
It allows us to get all our data into one place and create an easy view of performance.

I wish Supermetric accounts weren't tied to Google accounts. It makes working cross-functionally very difficult. I also struggle with choosing between the sheets vs. data studio connectors because it limits our ability to analyze and present data sometimes.
It streamlines my work on reporting for digital marketing campaign performance. Because I don't have to go to all our individual sources for data, I have more time to work on strategy, analysis and optimization which is what I'd rather be doing.
Supermetrics easily connects all social media and other analytics sources to our dashboard (we use Google Data Studio). The automation and always up-to-date information has saved us hours of tedious work and enabled us to bring more value to our clients by digging deeper and analyzing the events behind the numbers and getting a real insight into organic and paid ad performance instead of just reporting numbers. Another big use case for us has been customer research and surveys over n=500. Supermetrics helps us bring in the data and run statistical analyses like standard deviation, correlation and medians and present the results with confidence. We even did a huge 16x16 correlation matrix on Google Sheets and brought it to Supermetrics flawlessly.
Some connectors are a bit hard to understand (scope of connector) and setting up new ones (there are plenty!) may require support. Fortunately, the support is very responsive in almost all languages available.
As an agency Supermetrics helps us deliver reports to clients on all properties, both web and offline. As an SMB, Supermetrics helps us consolidate all our own online and offline properties into a single master view. In essence, Supermetrics is our single source of truth.
I like that it just works, no need to worry about it going down.
I don't like that I have to rebuild my queries. I wish you could save them to apply to future data pulls.
Supermetrics links two accounts that I don't want to natively link for personal information purposes.
I like having the ability to pull from multiple sources with multiple metrics and multiple queries. It means we can have one Google Sheet for lots of different things and reports.
For some reason, recently, the query bar has taken a long time to load / sometimes runs out of time, and errors (since the new update), making it challenging to work on the Google Sheets.
I pull online advertising data using Supermetrics which makes it easy to forecast / benchmark and helps record performance by several different periods. We use it across all clients.
My primary use of Supermetrics is for their Data Studio integration. I tried a number of other systems and then bit the bullet and went with Supermetrics. The biggest reason was that it just works.
I preferred their old pricing structure, but that's the only thing I can think of and that's business-related and not product.
Supermetrics allows me to quickly and easily pull data from multiple sources into Data Studio easily. They also handle some of the common data blendings.
Myself, and my team, love Supermetrics because it allows us to track 100% of our metrics for all of our clients in one centralized place. We are then able to integrate that spreadsheet with Google Data Studio. We haven't had this much success with another product available on the market.
Not much to dislike with Supermetrics, maybe the cost per license, but overall, I understand that, and the pros of the platform outweigh that. I would love to see more integrations built in the future as well.
Our team had a problem of not being able to quickly track all of our marketing efforts seamlessly in one place, and Supermetrics practically shaved hours and hours off of the old workflow for a similar task.
The ability to pull *everything* a data source has to offer, not just the top level numbers or metrics. Their date transformations (day, week, month, year+month) are also super helpful.
To be completely honest, it's hard to say anything negative. They have tremendous documentation and excellent support, so usually any issues come down to the resource or product you're using, not Supermetrics.
We're reducing the time it takes to build out reports, enhancing our analytical processes to go far beyond basic number pulls, and even realizjng how much data we're pulling month to month, which helps us understand how to scale our data practice.

Metric and dimension names are inconsistent across data sources. This may be due to the networks themselves and not Supermetrics, but it makes building reports to compare performance across ad networks challenging.
Supermetrics allows me to create real-time dashboards in Google Data Studio with non-Google data sources. Facebook, LinkedIn and Shopify are my most used connectors.
