It's very expensive, and no flexibility in choosing a data source. They should give the flexibility to bundle the plan as per the user's needs.

I have been using the Supermetrics for Google Data Studio - Microsoft Advertising Connector for years and I've never had any issues. It just works and that's rare in this day and age.
I would be hard-pressed to find an issue with Supermetrics at this time. Sure, I wish I could pay less than I am, but I cannot find an alternative solution at the price that I am paying.
I needed to get data from Microsoft Advertising into Looker Studio (formally Google Data Studio). This was the only easy way to do it other than writing my own connector that uses Microsoft's APIs.
Supermetrics's choice of connectors is vary vast which gives flexibility to chose just one subscription/account for all our needs. Their prompt response to queries and support is amazing

Supermetrics allows me to implement a data-analysis vision and combine data from multiple sources. Most times I don't even have to log in to any ad platforms to know the performance or what is the cause of performance anomalies.
The user experience can be annoying from time to time when changing an existing query. Often times when I make any change to the query (change metrics e.g.) and apply the changes, it will not change anything in the data unless I remove the existing data from the columns. Also, triggers could be managed in a more intuitive way. I've been having trouble regarding triggers stopping working (not updating the data despite the trigger settings being correctly set and steps being taken according to your customer support advice).
1. Analysis - Couldn't think of a better way of creating ad hoc analysis than fetching the required data with Supermetrics and visualizing that. 2. Templates - Features like 'Duplicate this file for another account' and Template Gallery has made my team's work much more efficient and standardized. 3. Dashboards - Most of the views can be made with native integrations, but when a custom view is needed to the dashboard, the data is easy to get with Supermetrics and then manipulate to the correct form for the dashboard.

I really like all of the different ways to display data in Supermetrics. I also like how easy it is to view many different data sources on one page and have it look so cohesive.
Not working with Reels and organic TikTok to pull additional data. Also, some metrics are off by 200-300 sometimes for monthly reporting when compared to manual data.

It's very easy to set up and to update. Very quick to get the data on Excel. Pretty intuitive!
It's not really Supermetrics' fault but the API for Instagram doesn't give access to organic + paid data which is very annoying. For example, if you boosted a post, the tool will only give you the organic data, which is therefore incomplete.

Whenever Google changes API connections, Supermetrics may take a long time in order to find a new way to access previously working data, but I am afraid that Google does not help them in facilitating these changes either...
Data analysis on Google Ads.
Supermetrics offer exactly what our business needs. As performance marketing is scattered across different vendors, it gives us possibility to automatically connect all KPIs into desired visualization tool (excel, google sheets, data studio, data warehouse) without hassle of any manual work. What we also like is that the team @ Supermetrics listens to clients when it comes to updating & adding new data sources.
Even though we are in general extremely satisfied with Supermetrics, the only thing that we don't like is that if external data sources have issues with APIs it's the Supermetrics queries that fail. But in essence, that doesn't fall on Supermetrics shoulders to fix but rather the sources (Google Ads, Facebook, Hubspot etc...)
Our marketing always had issues of manual mergings of reports that contain KPIs from used marketing channels and that meants they had to "copy/paste" a lot of reports that could've been delegated to automatical processes. With supermetrics we can connect most of the marketing channel KPIs without a hassle in a desired visualization tool.
It's very trustworthy; it is the best connector for Looker Studio (ex Datastudio) when you need to add Meta Ads data to your report. I tried other competitors and they don't show correct data.
Actually, I don't dislike anything about Supermetrics. I am completely satisfied with the product, maybe it is expensive, but it completely pays for the product you are receiving.
I can report Meta Ads KPIs to my clients. Before using Supermetrics, I couldn't add correctly the data to my Looker Studio dashboards but with Supermetrics I can show them updated and accurate data.
Automated daily sync of data and detailed reports with the right granularity available. It also allows us to build customer acquisition cost reports at the deepest granular levels which I think is the best part about Supermetrics.
Some data layers which are available in Ad platforms are not available in Supermetrics but it's rare. This is not a blocker for most of the work but they can add it and make it even better.
We use it to build detailed CAC reports across 5-6 ad platforms and compare their efficiency. You can divert budgets accordingly in your most efficient campaigns and drive your CAC down.

The ability to get data out of GA and schedule it into Google Sheets makes it easy to create reports and dashboards.
It's occasionally glitchy, but you can normally get around it.
