Good user management. Tools, modules, navigation provide robust tech stack for better development and Content creation experience. Easy navigation and fairly simple to learn.

User needs to have a good Development experience. The cost structure seems to be a bit more expensive. Offers comparatively lesser amount of customisation options.

Update the content management and create Content for the Webpages to customers

Sitecore as content management platform is good for Authoring and publishing. Personalization and Analytics is good. The platform is highly scalable with the latest architecture. Multiple sites and multilingual support. The newer version support better developer experiences. They improve the experience and features with the industry standard. The new addition of container support and K8's bring platform independence. Support for GDPR and other privacy.

The initial setup will be a challenge without a experienced architect. Upgrade path for the older version up to 8 will be difficult. The Sitecore is changing the process in the newer version though. Upgrading existing Sitecore version is complicated.

The content management is much simple with different teams with different permission levels. Workflow for the content publishing. Personalization with the persona and profile cards for anonymous users using behaviors. Geo personalization rules. The new forms module helps in easy data collection.

As a CMS, Sitecore is top notch comparing with other market leads. The Multilingual and Multi Language supports stands it out. Taking lead in adapting the latest technologies is what makes it stand out. No to mention the versioning capabilities it offers, allowing you to have complete control for your all the changes and track them without hesitation. The User admin workflows allowing you to have complete control over the Sitecore Solution, and giving freedom with the selection of nodes respective to the Users and their roles.

I little too much for the new developers to get started. A little complicated for the configuration stuff. I bit costly compared to the other Content management Systems available, but as it is a Enterprise level CMS, so I think it is justified.

I am currently working with the Sitecore JavaScript Services. I really like the way how the Sitecore Layout services handles it. The GraphQL support makes is easy for you creating the REST API which can be integrated headless and then integrated with the Sitecore CMS. The Multiple Language Support and Multiple Site Support solved my problem for having all the website under a single solution. The reusability of components reduced the time and effort for multiple sites. I created one single global site, and used those components in the other sites, with little or very less modifications. The complete solution was composed of around 79 sites, we developed one global site fully functional in 3 months and other 10 sites in 1 month. Another Solution based on helix principles, the team worked on different features seamlessly

I really enjoy working with the Sitecore Rules Engine, Experience Profiles, the path analyzer, and I love the nearly unlimited extensibility and my ability to integrate it with anything I have needed to.

I would love to have an onprem option written in .net core that can run in a Linux container rather than windows.

The ability for Sitecore to manage multiple sites with clear delineations between development and operations makes my job in digital strategy that much easier, allowing friendlier more efficient conversations about content and maintenance.

In my experience, even within the experience platform, it is easy to "silo" and only use some functions rarely, leading to knowledge inequality in the different aspects of the platform. If I could offer a suggestion, it would be to somehow integrate the different functions as they relate to each other (i.e. taking direct data forming suggestions from Sitecore analytics and applying to content). I believe there is an opportunity for less technically-oriented employees to maximize the work they are doing.

We are building a customer-friendly interactive site designed for the senior and elderly community in our geographic region. Accessibility and regulatory compliance are much easier to deal with given the tools in SXP. Content management itself allowed us to provide SLA's to our constituent departments that we could not prior to moving to Sitecore.

I wish the learning curve wasn't quite so steep - as a technical resource, I remember being completely overwhelmed when I was new to the community.

We're working to put the right tools in the hands of the right people - in our case, that means building components that marketers & content authors can use to create engaging website content.

We've been using Sitecore for about a decade now, and it's proven it's it's value through and through. Our favorite thing about it, is the way it brings together tech and marketing teams for deeper collaboration on what a website should look like and do for users.

Due to the complexity of the solution, it's not easily accessible to customers in terms of building on the platform. Many customers still find it hard to maximize on the actual full benefits of the platform, and tend to plateau soon after just migrating from whatever solution they were using previously. It takes time and commitment to really leverage what Sitecore has to offer, and most customers feel some impatience around seeing results faster (whether that's in the form of conversions or otherwise).

The most common problem we solve using Sitecore is tapping into users that were not previously identified as a target audience; as well as bridging the gap and dependency between marketing and tech. The benefits we've seen are related directly to increasing sales, streamlining workflows (internal processes), as well as automating a lot of the work that's done on/through the site.

Sitecore is the perfect tool to empower marketers to provide to visitors what really matters in terms of content. And after that, measure the success of their messages.

The product is extremely dependent on the implementation partner. Sometimes you have a huge potential that is not leveraged because the partners didn't follow some basic rules.

I work on the opps team and handle the issues that come in. I usually have issues with the custom code that we use behind the sceens

I love how extensible Sitecore is. As a developer/architect, the ability to customize and/or replace any part of Sitecore is absolutely amazing. I can write my own pipeline or processor to fit any of my client's business needs. And the community is so supportive and informative. The community and online resources have saved my day on a regular basis.

The learning curve can be a bit steep for some people. Finding experienced developers can be quite difficult.

Sitecore is the CMS I recommend to all of my clients to solve their business needs.

i like to customize the experience platform so i can create tools to be used internally on my company that fit our very needs. i can have the functionality separated and organized in a cool way and i don't need to struggle having it all shattered away.

maybe the lack of technical guides to describe the functionality so i must often struggle to make it work however i want. sometimes the documentation is not very specific or the customers doesn't face the same issues so often or never so i have to find out what are the best approaches to get the stuff working the way i actually want. the slack community sometimes help but i think there should be a better way to get stuff documented. because there are also known issues that are only that, and doesn't seem to have a real solution.
