Working with ACT, I have my entire sales database at my fingertips. I can see the history of the account. This will prepare me for a call or a meeting, as well as keynotes that I will need. The goal is the meeting and sale to be successful. I can coordinate multiple task lists to make sure that they are completed in the timely manner that was promised to the customer.
Sometimes speed is an issue, but that depends on the device or WiFi I am running with.

I HAVE A LOT OF ORDER IN MY WORK AND IT IS VERY EASY TO FIND THE CUSTOMER I AM LOOKING FOR AND WITH THIS I MAKE MY WORK FASTER. MY PROBLEM IS THAT SOMETIMES A LITTLE BUT I HAVE TO CLOSE AND OPEN AGAIN. I WOULD LIKE THAT THE SAME PROGRAM WILL ELIMINATE THE CALLS, CLIENTS OR DUTIES APPLIED AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO CARRY OUT THIS LAST STEP
I like it that you have to take action on all tasks and to do's you can reschedule if needed and delete them but then you just kidding yourself
I don't really dislike anything however getting to grips with some of the new features when adding them can be a bit time consuming

We are a small business using ACT. We like the ease of use and the way it works with our email system to record email interactions with our customers. Customization is easy to do and lets you tailor ACT to your specific business requirements. I definitely recommend ACT to any business looking to get ahead.
Setting everything up by yourself would be difficult. I would highly recommend hiring an ACT certified consultant to keep you ahead of anything new and help move through any technical difficulties. I would like some more features added to the new ACT E-marketing, SwiftPage used to have a survey feature that is no longer available with ACT E-marketing. Bring it back. ACT needs management to be good and effective. Having an in-house ACT manager will make ACT more effective and easier to use. I always say that ACT is only as good as the information that is inputted. You need complete buy in from your team.
We are keeping track of customers making it easy for everyone in the office to be on the same page in terms of where a customer is at. ACT E-marketing makes it easy to keep customers informed of what is new at Cameron Instruments. We can keep track of our sales team by using the opportunities, they can keep track of sales and where they are at for the month. They can easily track long-term opportunities.
The features are comprehensive and the ease of use is why it's my favorite CRM solution.
Any lacking features have usually been addressed in updates.
I have multiple projects in progress at any given time. I maintain various databases in ACT for each client / project. ACT is invaluable for me to keep track of the history, tasks to be completed, and opportunity I have for each prospect. The ease of use of ACT features is important to me. For advanced features, there is a wide range of documentation and user manuals available on the market.
The ability to customize the fields to fit my business.
The Mobile App needs a lot of work...would love to see it more like the desktop version. I'm not able to use in it's current state
Keeping track of the history with my clients is a huge benefit.
I'm old school, so I like the desktop version; however, I travel alot, so it's nice to be able to use this program anywhere I have an internet connection.
Not an ACT! problem, but if I don't have a good internet speed, it takes me a while to access information.
I love that my names and addresses are available for me anytime day or night.
The technician was patient, knowledgeable and very easy to work with.
That I had to contact support for help - but it turned out GREAT!
Remote database access
Act is very customizable. You can make it work exactly how it needs to for your business.
It sometimes overlaps data. Sometimes you can be in one record within the database and other data will be in there that is not accurate
ACT has made my job extremely easier. It allows for me to keep track of talks that need to be done, create reports for my company, and makes sure we have all of the info we need for customers
I am able to schedule on behalf of my employees and boss no matter where they are. They can see immediate changes as long as I sync throughout the day
The calendar times change every time you log on from the web.
To solve the time changes when logging onto the WEB, I type all date and time details

The program is not without bugs, like all software but ACT has an excellent online knowledge-base and end user community who support each other and provide fixes for known issues.
CRM functions, mailing lists, keeping track of contact points with various contacts, clients and company records. Storage of important documents tied to either a contact or a company.
Overall it is by far the best contact manager I have used. The ability to group, and have a large database is better than any other. the interface with Google and Outlook is much improved.

Act! will only offer a good ROI if it is customised to suit the business requirements and users are properly trained. When Act! is implemented correctly businesses will have a full audit trail of client interactions. Once a customer has seen how Act! should be configured and they have been trained properly they love it.
I have been using ACT now for 15 years and have found it to be the most consistent CRM out there
I dislike very little, the mobile APP needs some upgrading to make it less clunky.

ACT is intuitive and very easy to use. It imports and exports nicely from or to Excel. Customizable fields are great.
The only thing that I disliked was upgrading the software to a new version. The process was far more painful than necessary.

I was referred to ACT! from another advisor. Before I purchased the software I was given a good overview of the functionality and capabilities the program offered. That way I knew that it was going to meet my requirements before I had to purchase it. I also liked the fact that I could pay for the program rather than having to pay a monthly rental. It was Canadian friendly ie: Postal Code vs Zip Code. Easy to keep organized with Activity Series and daily To Dos! I love the Emarketing capabilities for sending out Newsletters, Monthly Tips and Birthday Wishes!
I ask another advisor in the office if there was any thing that they just liked and the comment was “No, I love the program!” In the history on what type of an activity it is I would like a drop-down menu to make the titles that I would prefer
