It solved our issue of having a professional phone number that customers can trust. The fact this service is so cheap is incredible - I pay more for my personal line.
Sometimes it seems like the audio quality via 800 is not as good as my regular phone. But I guess it's normal considering it's a different technology. Overall I can hear and understand people.

Ease of use for phone and fax. It also keeps track of items sent for review at a later date. Also, I like that I am notified if a fax or call comes into my email.
I don't like the fax cover sheets. It does not write what I put into the fax. I would like it if someone from the company would call me to correct my fax issues. Might it be something I'm doing wrong?
Mainly the ease of use. I like the paperless aspect of the fax number and the sending of documents via fax. I like the ease of use of the 800 number for my clients, and the number is forwarded to my cell phone.

The user-friendly interface is excellent for non-tech-savvy people. The customer service team was exceptional whenever I had questions, which is very important to me.
The only thing that would be helpful is how easy it is to find the bills. I sometimes get stuck on the interface to see the monthly bills.
If I can find the bills easily I can submit my expense report faster.

We were able to get a much-needed 800 number within minutes for our patient care hotline. When we came across an issue we did not understand, their support was friendly and attentive to a quick resolution. The call analytics are beneficial with our multiple locations. We can see how many calls, duration and where our staff are receiving and making them.
I wish there were more local prefixes available for our area.
We needed a hotline for patients to call in and be able to distribute those calls through a group. We set that up very quickly, and it works well with notifications if we miss one.

The dashboard is a little generic and the data isn't that useful for us but we don't have hundreds of calls a day.

Less than 24 hours after purchasing the number I wanted, I could immediately set up forwarding for the number online. They even called and emailed me afterward to make sure everything was running smoothly and to see if I had any questions. A very friendly company that I will continue to use in the future!
I don't have many downsides to think about with 800.com. I did run into one issue when purchasing my 800 number, though. When I got to the payment page, it kept giving me an error message so I had to call. They told me to just buy any other number and then they'd assign the one I wanted, which is what I did. Not a huge issue since it all got resolved but as a first-time customer it made the process a little more difficult then it needed to be!
They're solving the complexities of purchasing an 800 number. I had no previous knowledge on how the process worked at all and then when I found 800.com the whole process was just very clear and straightforward. Without them, I would be lost and without a personalized 800 number.
