800.com is very reliable and easy to navigate. Adding or removing users and the voicemail function is very helpful. It has been a tool that we use every day for the last 2 years.
The price, their is a definite value in using 800.com but there was a big increase in price that I feel was more than it needed to be.
It is there when we can't be. The phones need to be answerd 24 hours a day and that's not always possible with a small staff. 800.com allows us to be there for our customers when it is convenient for them.
800.com gave us instant access to a very catchy vanity 800 number, plus competitive pricing, great features that we needed (like voicemail and call forwarding), and really smart customer service. Even the chat box was a real person who was articulate and efficient in understanding what I needed. He pulled strings and got things in place to seal the deal for us. Really grateful!
I've researched a bunch of providers for toll-free numbers, and I can list what the others offer and compare plans, but I haven't really experienced any down sides with 800.com. We took a while to begin to use our 800 number, so it might have been nice to have a $3.00 "park your unused 800 number here" plan, but we're happy with the low-cost plan our rep offered!
800.com gives us an easy number for our new customers to remember, with voicemail and call forwarding, at an affordable price.
Easy to setup. Easy to use. Never had technical issues.
First year was fine. Then I noticed they charged my credit card a lot of money. It would seem that they changed their pricing structure and just assumed they can upsell me to a higher plan that costs twice the money. Seems clearly unscrupulous. Took it on the chin and moved on to another telephony company.
International freecall lines.
Makes our company appear larger than it is because of the 855 number the service works perfectly every time there's never an issue I highly recommend to anybody looking to have a call a service for multiple phones in a business.
I wish it shows the number when it was calling but it's not the end of the world for the price it's still a great product
It's just a cost-effective way of having a landline in today's world plus the routing is very simple to use
Easy to buy numbers, but very hard to port out.
Costs are high. Also, if you want to transfer a number out it will cost you a lot of money.
We use 800.com for some toll-free numbers that we setup for a client.
Stable no-frills service, good quality sound and reliable notifications. Long recording times, and a good interface for setting up outbound messages. Pricing is great! CS team added fax for no additional charge, AWESOME!! Choosing a memorable number is very important to me. 800.com is improving its offerings all the time, including a new phone app that lets outbound calls be identified as your 800 number!
Service could use more features, most important, a way to make calls that can send the CLID with your business name included, not just your 800.com phone number. An enhanced phone menu navigation for the inbound caller to use, like "press [x] for the previous menu", or "Press 'star' to go back to the main menu"
Using extensions to delineate clients from networking partners. Have yet to fully implement full marketing of the number, as my business growth was sidelined for a while.
I signed up for a vanity number never ended up using it. I did not realize that I was paying for it and never once thought about the cost monthly. After a few months, I saw the charge on my credit card and called customer service to have the charge removed. I fully expected an argument or some debate that it was my fault for not canceling the phone but no, they were amazing. No questions asked. They simply removed the charge and asked me if there was anything else they could do for me. One additional item I really liked about this company is they offer text to speech on their platform. Very impressive. I am so happy with this company that I will make it a point to use them in the future.
Nothing, I have nothing to say negative about this company. They handled themselves extremely well.
I needed an 800 number for my new startup.
800.com gives users needing 800's lots of flexibility for a reasonable price. We love the fact multiple 800 numbers can be housed under one account, voice mail settings, auto attendant, and calling trees can all be personalized without an additional fee.
Extension options are limited and may not be as helpful if using numerous branches.
No current problems are pending. Benefits are all around robust platform for a reasonable price.
