I love it's core functionality and ability to deliver meaningful impact on my campaigns and helping me reach my target audience with all the filtering and raw power
The UI is a tad clunky but still gets you where you need to go. I think some of the toolbars would benefit from a redesign
Email the right people in my accounts at the right time
It is easy to use and its free to use.
It does not help you when you are stuck and it seems more confusing than the last time I used it
It is a cost effective drip campaign. It helps to validate information
powerful software with lots of features including reducing email rejection as spam with DKIM setup
early to say but lots of issues such as fields rejection without explanation and hard to insert logo
sales automation for my team and better crm record keeping. no benefits yet as early
The ability to schedule posts and view individual email reports. The convenience of having a direct link to CRM as opposed to using third party providers such as Mailchimp is a definite big advantage to this software.
The email design interface is fussy, outdated and difficult to use. Although Campaigns tries to achieve a seamless drag and drop functionality, it is often laggy and users have to click options several times before it will work. This entire interface needs redesigning and simplifiying. More of a general comment, but the Zoho support team are AWFUL. We have had ongoing problems with Zoho that need to be escalated to the support team directly but the problem is always ignored and has to be chased up and it is always delayed. The average fix time for a problem is about a month, and this is only because two people are constantly chasing up Zoho otherwise the problems would be forgotten about.
We are developing relationships with our customers using zoho campaigns and sending them regular email campaigns means that we are increasing our awareness. Zoho Campaigns has been a big help during GDPR as it is directly a part of our CRM system so has sufficiently decreased the workload.
The integration with zoho crm "vistas" and sync.
The bad deliverability. Comparing with mailchimp, my previous email platform, with the same lists and kinf of content, I lost more than 10% of open rate.
Integration with zoho crm allow to centralize management of emails.
I don’t think there is anything overly positive about this software.
Having to get mailers approved. You have to create a new version of an automated journey just to change one word. Everything is not easy to use.
None
The platform has a lot of nice features for sending email campaigns and it is easy to use
Your customer service is quite rigid and not flexible
I am sending customised and targeted email campaigns with zoho
Good integrated in other apps, the mobile app on ios is pretty good and once planned a new campaign it is very reliable.
Many functions are not finished. After uploading my own html file, I can't change images. The editor is very buggy. So I can't use my own html templates inside ZCampaigns. On email notification mails I can't translate every text details (for example click here). Creating a sign up form on which the customer can choose to which lists he wants to be added (at least one must be selected but he can also choose both) is not possible. If we have several lists I have to make design changes on mail notification for every single list which needs a lot of time. It is not possible to send customized html notification mails to subscribers. This is a big NEED when it comes to corporate design. It I compare ZCampaigns to Mailchimp the whole app seems to be buggy and not finished and not really responsive. I really wish Zoho will improve ZCampaigns very soon!
We're sending weekly newsletter to our customers about new movies in our cinema. Sending campaigns works well.
This application's GUI allows you to set up an email in a similar fashion to any of the others (mailchimp, constant contact, etc.), but send a test email and it wont show up how you want it to look. Spacing is off, images and links are gone, and goes to spam.
Support, and everything else. Emails dont show up as built, and go directly to spam
Was hoping to ease the integration to CRM with zoho campaigns, but its a god awful application.
no free option, only way to utilize more than just sending a small basic email, is to pay for a pricing plan.
no way to auto emails for free - paid option. no way to send emails in a sequence - paid option. no way to set up triggers or send out emails based on triggers - paid option only. no way to set up tags - paid option only.
Just started using ZC, I'm using this to solve my customer email marketing - no benefits after 7hrs of using this product.
These ease of creating a template is nice.
Pretty much everything else is a pain just like most of Zoho. For some reason, Zoho has a love of creating silos and making users lives more difficult. After using Hubspot for creating and sending campaigns Zoho is utterly terrible.
Not solving much because it takes way too long to use Zoho and support call are almost a daily occurrence. Those are fun too with the foreign support agents that you can barely understand. We may be switching very soon.
Zoho Campaigns has a lot of features others have not or are a lot more expensive than it. We are using it as part of Zoho One and are paying less than 40 EUR per user. In our situation we are not limited to subscribers amounts or mails sent. I personally like the automation and subscriber scoring a lot but don't have time to implement it correctly. My colleagues like the WYSIWYG Newsletter creation tool which is basic but does its job (better than nothing, like competitors do).
Since we changed to Zoho Campaigns, we have a lot of bounces. A lot. Ten per cent of our subscribers are not bounced. Zoho's policy is to keep these people bounced which leads to the funny situation that we have a customer who pays for ads in our newsletters but is now bounced and has no option to resubscribe. We charge him money but are not able to send him our product directly... It's not our subscriber base because that was steady for some years now. It's Zoho.
Better, Easier Campaign creation. Multi user campaign editing, detailed reports. Subscriber Scoring.
Not much I'm afraid. While there is always a learning curve with any new tool you use, Zoho failed to impress me. I can't seem to find something I like about it yet. I'll be fair and try to give it more time, granted, I don't have a choice for now. It integrates, up to a certain point, with Zoho CRM. I guess the positive is that it is much cheaper than your Eloqua or Marketo. You get what you pay for.
Well, for one, going from Eloqua (Oracle) to Zoho is a drastic step down. I am used to the best of the industry so it is of course going to be hard to make me happy, I'll give you that. I find that Zoho has very limited features, almost no flexibility, is very clunky and overall, does very little for me right now other than batch 'n blast. If you only need to send a few emails to a small fairly static list, it may do the trick. It is EXTREMELY SLOW to disseminate. It took over 2 1/2 hrs to send less than 10,000 emails.
I managed to send one newsletter... Boohoo. Problems: what a pain to get an email ready. Too limited. Creating a preference center is weird to be nice. Image and list management are inexistent. I haven't been able to test the Lead Scoring module yet since it is an Add-On and I don't have it at this time. Not enough synch options with CRM. Very basic reporting capabilities but that would be normal since other features are limited. Maybe as I continue to use it, I'll find workarounds. I had and still have a problem with login/credentials so management of users does not meet my needs.
The syncing of our lists is easy, but most features you can find in other providers.
We have had constant deliverability issues, especially with gmail. The automation section is a little tricky to setup. You also are limited by the number of lists syncs you get from the CRM to campaigns on a daily and monthly basis.
We have been trying to grow our promotional efforts, and also keep more in communication with our customers.
