OpenPhone's platform provides the services I need for my start-up business and the price point is excellent. Set-up was very simple. Although I was apprehensive about customer support when there was a validation issue with my first payment, it was resolved quickly and professionally with a courteous email to confirm all was well.
As a new user, I haven't found anything to dislike so far!
It is a reasonably-priced option with features I need to add a separate business phone line to my personal cellphone.
Ease of use and simple interface. Phone systems can be complicated to set up menus, etc, but Openphone has done a great job at simplifying this process.
Nothing negative right now, just first week of use.

Having one dashboard for calls and texts. The fact that I receive an AI summary of my calls is next level. It is a game changer since I'm terrible at taking notes during a call and this does a far better job for me.
I would like to be able to call their support line and talk to a human, I'm a bit old school. However, their support response is quick and thorough.

Now with the new sms sythem , everythings needs approval to send sms and stuff so i dont really like that , ive been trying to improve my business through Openphone
Open provide many numbers with area codes that can provide me the virtual phones so i can be using the phone number from there

Sometimes issue occurr on the outgoing calls, or messages delivered to client goes undeliverd. Once in blue voice echo's.

They are enabling me to have a number outside the USA without needing to be there. I have an LLC in the USA, so it's very useful for me.
It is super easy to use when working from home! I like that it protects your private information. The app makes it convenient to call or text with our guests that are all over the world.
Personally, I have no real complaints. I am looking forward to my work upgrading us to be able to make international calls soon in the near future with this app.
Since the pandemic, I was nervous about transitioning to a WFH job as I was concerned about using my personal information/number. However when my boss offered OpenPhone as an option, this eased my nerves.
Openphone offers a modern and intuitive interface, making setup and settings straightforward. The AI transcription feature is notably beneficial. I highly recommend it for efficient communication!
The only downside so far is - as far as I know - the Salesforce integration doesn't allow us to search contacts by name in the app. The contacts carry over, but this would be useful for when we don't access via Salesforce. (I haven't checked if this is user error yet, so please forgive me if I'm wrong).

I can phone prospects and customers from a local phone number. I can record all calls for future reference. I am also using OpenPhone for a personal phone number after I moved to a different province so that I could keep my home phone number. OpenPhone lets me send and receive text messages on all my numbers, which I couldn't do before on my home phone.
I'd like to be able to search contacts related to a specific phone number so that I can make a call to that contact from a specific phone number. Although I can search all contacts, I can't make a call to that contact from a particular phone number unless I search through all of my calls for that phone number.
Prospects and customers are more at ease because I can call and answer calls with a local phone number. Recordings of all calls is really handy - it saves me from frantically making notes during a call. Also, it is great that I can send and receive text messages on all my phone numbers, which I couldn't do before on my home phone number.
OpenPhone was very easy to start using and "just worked".
Since we're using OpenPhone as the main phone contact for our business for both calls and SMS/MMS messages, we had to go through the SMS campaign verification process. Some of those questions in which we had to provide example text messages we might send were difficult to answer as we aren't sure exactly how those customer conversations might go.

I was a bit unsure at first as I was having some notifications issues and missing calls, but the support team was super helpful in resolving issues - and quickly. I also have a Google Voice #, but you cannot text in Google Voice Canada yet. I also love how OpenPhone lets me organize texts & calls, make notes, mark done, and record calls!
We have had some issues with notifications, calls getting missed and other tech support issues, but I think some of it is partially due to lack of knowledge on our end and just compatibility and settings needing to be set up right so I do not fault them anymore.
We can call & text and record calls all in one organized place. It connects everything in one place to have multiple #'s & users! I now have a virtual assistant on the other side of the world who can help answer calls and texts all through OpenPhone!
Their assistance with migrating our organization to their database was very smooth inspite of issues with porting numbers. The team was very patient and worked diligently to resolve any issues.
A video phone option would be helpful for our organization. So far that has been the only issue my team has found.
Transperency and portability of communications. When we have had staff turnover in the past the caseload of that staff was sometimes difficult to make sure noone was missed in the transition. Also the oversight with communication issues.
i am using openphone, there services are best and top quailty. its about their services. now i will share my experience of thier costumer support. there support team is very helpful and coperative. they solved my issue with in 2/3 hours.
there is nothing dislike about openphone, everything is perfect like services, costumer support everything.
i make twice payment for subscribtion and i just report a problem and they just solve it within 2/3 hours

I address the US market from the UK, so need a US number and a cost-effective call and SMS solution. The on-screen method of calling and seamless text integration is super efficient, and the workflow element is a value add for sure.
I’ve been using OpenPhone for around 5 years, and I have found it to be simple and straightforward and took all the headache out of establishing a business line. I love that I can text as well as call. It has become so helpful to be able to remove my personal number from client interactions so that my personal life is “shielded”. I also love the support. Any time I’ve reached out either with a question or issue, their support is extremely rapid and very forthright and friendly.
Some features are still emerging and maturing, so at times the settings can be a bit confusing. But it always improves in time as they firm up how to lay it all out. I probably don’t make use of everything their service does, because the app does more than I need as a solo operator.
The main problem I was facing was that my personal number was posted all over the internet, and I was getting calls at annoying hours or during the middle of family time. By switching to a business number, and being able to set business hours on the number, OpenPhone has really cleaned up all the boundaries I wanted to have between work and personal life. I’ve also been glad to have such an easy way to offer a toll free number and a local number at the same time, and to do so without needing extra SIM cards for phones. Very handy to have it all run from one place, and now even from any browser with their web app.
The fact that I can use it anywhere, answer it and make phone calls.
Sometimes if the internet connection is weaker (not sure if that is why) it hangs up before I can answer it.

I have a counseling business. This service helps me keep my personal number private but still be available and it works great. I have found no glitches and am very satisfied.

Lastly, although the call recording feature is useful, it would be even better if there was an option to automatically transcribe the recorded calls for easier reference and searchability.
