The collaboration with our team in multiple states is great. We use the system to send reporting back to our clients and suppliers. Before we had this system we had a very hard time keeping track of all of our bids and projects. Our sales went up within 3-4 months after starting.
There is no order management or quoting system. This is a major downfall to the system. We have to use other programs just to function completely.
We eliminated the cross over between sales people working the same jobs. We have used our time better as a result
Nutshell's mobile functionality, their multi-dimensional charting capabilities, and customized fields make this platform user-friendly.
While the UI is pretty basic, there are some elements of the UX that are a little clunky. Drag-and-drop functionality would be nice, as well as more AI/ML attributes for business intelligence (vs. business analytics).
I use Nutshell to manage deal flow and lead pipelines, and have been able to customize the lead profiles to include information specific to my industry (vs. hard-coded generic templates for general industry types).
The best part is custom fields. We are a unique organization that requires specific data points that are not in standard CRMs.
UI for both mobile and desktop versions. It is a bit antiqued overall and the mobile app is not very useful in its current form. I would live on my mobile version if it was up to snuff.
We are using the features to help us forecast every year. It does a solid job of doing that one thing.
We are due to launch Nutshell in the next month. Customizing this CRM for our needs has been almost pain free. This will help us grow and expand our relationships with our customers so much ! The white glove service made it so easy to import our current DB. Product is very customizable in so many areas, we have been spoilt for choice.
We would like to see better email functionality. That would be the weakest link in the nutshell chain.
We are not yet live, this answer is still evolving.... But having all our lists and database information in one basket is already making our work flow so much easier to control.
Nutshell is a full functionality CRM software. Easy to use and the UI is straightforward.
I'm a developer who implements our internal tools with Nutshell's APIs. I feel the JSON-RPC API of Nutshell is really limited and the documentation doesn't provide enough information. It takes me a lot of time to guess and try the APIs to get the needed results back and sometimes that's just impossible because of the API limitation.
We automate our sales cycle by using webhooks and APIs. For example, when a new user signs up in our website, he gets added to Nutshell automatically.
Makes it super easy to organize contacts and companies. BCC feature is key to tracking previous interactions
Sometimes the process can be cumbersome for consultants so the data isn't always filled out consistently.
Great way for us to track business development targets and quarterly financial progress.
Customization of clients, projects, management
Layout could be better, tags are confusing
Project management for consultants
I like that, when emailing clients or potential clients, you can bcc the nutshell email and it saves it to the client's database. It also lets me know when there's a duplicate name and gives me the option to merge the contact with the current business. It also allows you to add tags, which makes it really easy to track a specific group of clients.
I don''t like that when I have a long list of client contacts under a business, I have to repopulate the contact page whenever I'm looking at an extended list. Other that that, there really isn't much I don't like about Nutshell.
It's pretty user friendly. It enables me to organize clients, prospective clients and allows me to easily transfer clients to different businesses once that client has moved to a new job. It allows me to track sales using their Dashboard option. When sending out emails, I can easily organize people base on their tags that I've assigned. I can then sort them into a list and export to an Excel doc.
The easy and user-friendly thinking of the creators.
I didn't find a proper crm integration for it, no reminders or notes for prospecting clients
I record the contacts and the leads with Nutshell. The biggest benefit is, that I can separate the (potential) customers and I can see what kind of marketing should be sent to which.
Nutshell has so many features that you discover new ones every time you use it and I like that.
It can sometimes be a bit difficult to navigate.
It helps me stay organized and I love that I can sync it to my google calendar
So easy to collaborate with the team on various projects
The user I gave is not as good as I expected I to be
I like to collaborate tlwith the team on this with this product and solve the fundamental questions
So simple and fluid between companies and contacts. I live in the platform most days each week and it's perfect for keeping a transparent track record of my accounts
The way emails get logged is still confusing to me. I don't understand the visibility settings and not sure how appointments/calendar is integrated
My manager is across the country so instead of CC'ing him on everything I just rely on Nutshell as a place he can go to check on my accounta
Cloud based, user friendly, super easy to learn and get started with.
The search function could be better, we often add duplicates without noticing.
Essential tool for our sales dep
I most utilize nutshell in recording conversations with potential and current clients. That part has been integral for me as there are times when my sale with a client will stretch out over a year and therefore i can go back and easily review my prior conversations.
The app can be a little more difficult to work with. There are times when the information is harder to access while on the app.
My sales process is easier to mainstream as I have definitive steps built in Nutshell to keep me on track. That has been very helpful.
Nutshell really helps me to stay organized. I like that I can set up a process and it will auto assign tasks for each of the new leads I add. This ensures that I don't drop the ball, but it doesn't require me to set up a task schedule for each individual lead I add. This process saves me a significant amount of time without compromising my relationships with my leads. Almost everything that I need is in Nutshell. Very rarely do I think, I wonder if I can do.... and find that Nutshell doesn't have that functionality.
Sometimes it is a bit tedious entering details and initially setting things up takes some work, but that is true for everything. It would be really nice if the contact info autofilled for the company associated with an individual, or vice versa.
Nutshell helps us keep track of all of our leads and it improves our relationships with leads, which leads to even greater sales.
I like the user interface the most. It's very clean.
I've had issues with logging activities on a lead - and attached to that lead is a person - but after the lead is closed, the note/activity doesn't follow the person. I have to go into the old lead.
It keeps me organized as I can prioritize better.
The Dashboard view that allows me to not only see any upcoming close dates scheduled or past due but also allows me to see my teams upcoming close dates or past due dates as well. The all in one view as soon as I log in is very helpful first thing.
Some of the changes that were recently made to Nutshell shift some of the titles of leads and/or wording around within the leads which made it a little difficult to find or follow up.
Nutshell allows me to have all leads in one central location and to once again follow up on any lead that the sales team may place within Nutshell.
I can access from all the computers I want, even with any phone.
2 things: In the phone the interface is different I can't lick different lead to the same task and sometimes that is necessary
Look for new clients, as well as support clients in the use of the software we comercialice.
The ease of it and the fact that it is not too expensive.
No integration with Linkenin Sale navigator
Not sure.
Features and price - but, the features aren't always what we hoped they would be, although it is easy to use.
Seems like it doesn't ever quite do what we need it to do. For example, I want to be able to keep my emails private and only have specific ones save to the CRM. It doesn't seem to be able to do that. We have to regularly reach out to a rep to find out if we can make the CRM do something that we need it to.
We needed a CRM that was all in one - not sure if it really is doing this now, but we're making it work.
