I really like the way that all customer contact can easily be enetered into Nutshell and very quickly reviewed to stay on top of customer contacts. Also, the activities tool is very helpful to planmy time and then quickly log the synopsis of the contact and schedule any follow up activities based on the same accounts and contacts. The value I receive for my subscription rate almost seems too good. I would honestly pay 20% more for this service, especially if some of that money went to development (see the dislike section.)
I would really like to see an iPad version come out. The iPhone version is functional, but pretty clunky. iPhone app development and improvements would be nice to see as well.
I no longer have to try to remember all of the personalized details of my accounts and contacts because I have the ability to look up my notes quickly. Colleagues have watched me integrate Nutshell into my business and are very impressed with its abilities.
The interface looks awesome and is really inviting to sign into. It's as equally easy to use.
That LinkedIn stopped allowing their integration.
Tracking all contacts and knowing they're in a trusted system to make the most of the relationship.
The mobile version is very simple to use. We use it for tracking leads to sales in an air conditioning company and it does everything we need it to. I am able to provide up to the minute reports on sales pending and close ratios when asked.
There isn't anything that we've found to dislike in this software.
We use it it track the sales cycle of our residential air conditioning prospects and clients. It keeps us from having leads drop through the cracks and allows us to track lead sources to find where our best leads come from.
How simple it is to use and how little it constrains me. i feel one of the big barriers with CRM is how much they ask you to do to post a lead. So much that people end up not doing it.
Some of the dashboards are not that useful. I also don't fully understand all the reporting and forecasting that Nutshell offers
Managing a sales group that is distributed and keeping them on the same page. I think very few leads slip through the cracks cause of Nutshell.
I like the usability and ergonomy of Nutshell. It's very easy to use, even for people who never ever used a CRM before. Nutshell really improved our knowledge of our customer base ! Our most beloved feature is the "[email protected]" option. By just adding this address in the bcc: field of an email, the email is stored in Nutshell, and the contacts created. Powerful ! But Nutshell is much more than that - there are tiny details, improving our overall experience with this tool. Gravatars and twitter handles, third-party connections (well done with Mailchimp !)... these details won me.
The mobile apps could be better - although it was improved. We are looking forward a better user experience on mobile !
We were really facing the problem of knowing better our customer and prospects community. Where do they live ? What do they do ? Thanks to Nutshell, we are solving that problem, and that's a relief.
Nutshell has always had a very clean user interface, and it's easy to create sales workflows that work for your company.
The speed of updates to the iphone app is not as fast as I would expect compared to the android updates.
Nutshell allows us to keep all of our communications about business development in one place and share them with the entire team. There's many apps that do this, but few are as clean as Nutshell.
Simplicity of platform. Coming off as a prior user of Salesforce, Nutshell is simple and simple is better. Ease to create reports.
Would like to see a few features that make my life easier. I'm sure they will happen as Nutshell evolves. Dashboards can be a bit confusing to navigate.
Sales stuff - lead management, tracking, reporting. Benefit - simplicity of creating reports. Sales reports and projections. Snapshots.
Nutshell works best on ANY platform and across ANY mobile device. It's USER FRIENDLY. Which is a God-send in today's world of crappy sales tools.
Much like Apple, they focus on what they THINK the user experience SHOULD be... rather than consistently actually sitting with their users and implementing what they find. They have watched our team use the interface before, but I haven't seen many improvements come out of this. In fact, it's frustrating that Nutshell considers themselves to be a pre-sales tool... and NOT focused on fulfillment. This is a big problem with CRMs today... no one focused on deep business intelligence prior to contact, NOR do they assist with fulfilling either services or products effectively. They are always used as a bridge. This is yet another bridge solution, but albeit a more effective bridge than any other platform I've used.
We're able to keep track of all of our inbound orders, and we have realized benefits of being able to quickly respond to our customers.
1st great system to have a functioning app was a big selling point, but the user-friendliness of this system is amazing too. The UI/UX is very straightforward and easy on the eyes for new users... a 12 year old boy could have set our account up in a few hours and understood how to use it. Not sure how anyone can complain. The reports are also very intuitive. The team is relatively responsive to needs and always kind and attentive to detail.
Sorry Nutshell, but you are not a CRM. Users - don't run because of this statement! - Nutshell KILLS it for us regarding sales prep and selling the product, but they have very little in regards to providing tools that help with customer retention/relationship management. - As mentioned by another reviewer, Nutshell does not provide calculators/maintenance for businesses that build revenues on subscription based services. Nutshell's UI and reporting is so clean and powerful, that it is our hope they accomplish this before another small "CRM" company does. We've used highrise, zoho, pipeline, etc. and nothing has come close to Nutshell - but it definitely has its flaws. We have every hope that Nutshell will improve in the areas they lack before we outgrow the company because it has been such a tremendous platform to work with. They have the potential to become a leader in the industry.
QUICKLY tracking leads and keeping track of the sales process has been the number one benefit we get from Nutshell. It simply does its job in that regard, and does it well. The next question asks whether we use it for "sales force automation" or "CRM". I can't say we use it for either, but it is a great filing system for leads and prospects.
Nutshell is simple. They listen to their customers. They help you focus on sales and keep you from getting too scatterbrained. It's great for team collaboration. I've tried to get many people to use many different CRM's. Nutshell is the only one I've always been able to get people using.
It has moments of bugs, but nothing too disrupting. There are some UX/UI changes that wouldn't hurt, but they'll figure that out.
We are trying to grow revenue. The biggest problem we have is focusing. Nutshell helps us to do that.
I am amazed at how easy and intuitive Nutshell has made CRM after using both Microsoft CRM and Zoho in the past. I was able to migrate in an afternoon and haven't looked back since. The dashboard activity feed has added more discipline to my sales process and lets me know exactly what I need to accomplish each day. The other feature that has been incredibly valuable to me is the ability to create multiple sales "processes". The opportunities I pursue differ greatly--thus having the ability to select from a different set of processes and pre-defined tasks has both increased my organization and saved me time.
I live in Outlook/Office 365 and Nutshell only has minimal 1-direction integration. I wish that contacts I created in Nutshell would be pushed to Office 365. It would also be nice if I could schedule meetings/calls from within Outlook.
I need to manage long-lead sales cycles and long-term relationships with customers and organizations. With Nutshell, I finally found a CRM product that I enjoy using.
Powerful system but still easy to use, no where near as complex as competitors but equally as powerful. Low cost flexible cost model is perfect for the various businesses I am involved with.
As a newish product there are still some bugs, but the team is responsive and highly qualified and always takes care of us.
Building a scalable sales team requires a platform that is easy to train on, low cost and easy to administer. Nutshell has been a big part of our scale cycle, without it we would be lost.
Ease of use! Users can focus on selling!
There is absolutely nothing I don't like about Nutshell. The only way I could be more excited was if they came out with a "Client" management interface (as Nutshell is best suited for the pre-sales process).
Nutshell keeps us organized! With an interface I can teach to someone in 5 minutes, it does everything we need without the complexity and "clunkiness" of other CRMs. I highly recommend to any organization that has any degree of prospecting.
Simple integration with Google, forces me to enter results of meetings (this is good - everyone else on team needs the info), works on iPhone & iPad, minimal setup. $!0 pp/mo. And lovely, responsive customer service, even to idiot CEOs.
Nothing, but then again, I am not used to a lot of bells and whistles that just (for me) complicate what I'm trying to get done.
Track sales opps and share updates with team. Connecting emails and docs so team can find them. Did not lose a sales opp and closed it!
I like the APIs that are available to connect our website with the content that Nutshell can keep. The APIs are pretty robust to get our things to work.
I don't like that there is not someone I can call. Although chat seems to be ok - it can take a few minutes to get a hold of someone. And then, I don't know if they are going to get back to me using chat or email.
We are moving away from a home grown CRM and moving to you. I like it because if there is anything new that comes out (like contacting customers through SMS) - *you* will be the people to have to figure out how to implement it!
Nutshell is fantastic and serves multiple purposes. For example, it helps my company with prospecting, CRM support, routing and following up on leads, and a host of other things that contribute to happy customers and productive expansion. We are already using all of its features and capabilities thanks to its incredibly simple and easy to use interface. In addition, I really appreciate how well structured the program is; it greatly simplifies our work because all of our customer accounts contain all the pertinent information such as quotes, manifests and invoices.
My main complaint is that it does not have the ability to automate some tasks that would be useful in terms of saving time and effort.
It is perfect for companies that prioritize customer satisfaction, as its practical features greatly improve prospecting, sales pipeline, follow-up and recruiting. The interface is simple and the functions are uncomplicated, making it easy to learn and use. Tracking activities, opportunities and customers, and monitoring our sales performance has been a great tool for us.
The fact that they are open to upgrade some items through time and they look into making it as user friendly as possible. They also keep us up to date with what's coming and we have to opportunity to communicate with them if needed.
One of the thing that would find useful to change is how to have some users be able to acces the Pro package while others can stay at the basic. We don't necessarily all have the same needs of performance with Nusthell within our company so it could be interesting to separate those rates
Transparency. For us Nusthell is a great tool to have our team up to date with everyone's effort and they are able to see the progress of some projects. It allows us to save meeting time since each employee can have access to the timeline.
Nutshell CRM is the backbone of our communications. They don't just add features for the sake of it; they make sure it fits well with how users work. The new add-ons make it great for marketing and communication. The pipelines are flexible and let you automate a lot of things. In a nutshell, Nutshell is easy to use, has lots of helpful features, and is good for marketing and communication. The support folks are very responsive and knowledgeable about their platform.
Not much. If I'm nitpicking, the additional marketing features can be priced cheaper.
As a sales executive, I work with a team, and Nutshell is like a hub where we can all share information. It helps me connect with my team and get the input I need. The email and call features in Nutshell are smoothly connected with the CRM. This integration makes everything simple and easy for me to use. Our whole sales process is set up using Nutshell CRM. It's like the backbone of our work. With just a couple of clicks, I can generate reports and show how well I am performing. It saves me time and makes my job more straightforward.
