We have found Klaviyo to be a fantastic tool for all of our email marketing requirements. We were given excellent bundles, and we could set up numerous email marketing campaigns simultaneously.
I never disliked anything about Klaviyo but the integration with the sending domain was very hectic at first so if you have a little knowledge of DNS records then you are good to go.
We needed a powerful email marketing tool and tried a couple in the market and klaviyo's results were exceptional and it also offers good ready-to-go templates for emails.
I love how many different platforms and apps that klaviyo integrates with. We can have all of the marketing apps we use with Shopify combined with Klaviyo, so our lists continue to grow, and automation is simple to set up and analyze.
as of right now, there is nothing that i dislike about Klaviyo. Maybe if there were instructional videos on how to initially setup some flows and automations that would be helpful ?
We have taken our e-mail marketing to a new level with Klaviyo by sending out a lot more segmented emails offering different types of promotions and coupons to various segments of subscribers.We love the dynamic email capabilities.
The Shopify integration is great when pulling products for email campaigns and various blasts.
Klaviyo is a bit expensive, especially if you have a large number of profiles to manage.

Klaviyo is much better than any other email marketing platform I have used. It is very user friendly and continues to adapt to technology shifts and advancements constantly adding new features!
The only thing I dislike about Klaviyo is the random glitches that are experienced in the theme editor.

The email builder is much quicker, easier, and more intuitive than MailChimp, and I love that my email & SMS campaigns and journeys can be combined.
Reporting dashboards and displays could be improved for sure.
We didn't have any customer journeys set up, very little automation, no SMS. Much better marketing stack now.
One of my favorite things about Klaviyo is just how easy it is to use. They have done a great job making it user friendly and at the same time it has many powerful features. I love using it for abandoned cart follow ups.
There's not really anything I don't like in terms of the features Klaviyo offers. It would be nice if they could bring the pricing down some. But overall it's a great ESP and is the best in it's class for what it does.

Ease of use, integrations, and great data/analytics. Klaviyo is the best tool I've used for email (and I've used just about every ESP available). In addition to the features, customer support is top-notch.
Honestly, I'm struggling to find something I DON'T like about Klaviyo. 9% of the time, I recommend Klaviyo as the go-to ESP for my clients. No complaints coming from me!
We use Klaviyo for email and SMS marketing. I particularly like how I can keep both services under one roof, and can look at that data (as well as e-commerce and activity data) in one place.
It's extremely easy to get up and running. Lists/segmenting is very powerful. Complete breeze to use.
The API is very in-development and some features are only available via the web UI.

The shopify integration is the best I have seen in the ESP space. Klaviyo is intuitive, easy-to-use and provides great metrics to help optimize performance.
The UI looks a little bit outdated. It is also not the greatest for running experiments.

Klaviyo offers really nice live sessions on their website to walk you through anything you might need help on, but even the platform itself lays out analytics and helpful tips. It's great to have email and SMS in one place from a marketing perspective. Klaviyo is constantly adding new helpful features with benchmarks, analytics, design, etc. and their support team is always there to help!
Sometimes there is the occasional glitch, which makes me lose my progress in an email template or lose data for the analytics. It can be frustrating to start over or be missing bits and pieces. With SMS, it can be challenging to decipher the required components to SMS are, and there is always the fear that you're doing something wrong - especially for us as we have both US based lists and UK/rest of world. It would be great if Klaviyo had a more clear and obvious layout for opt-out/opt-in and all the required fields. The live sessions have helped me understand those requirements better.
Hugely important to be segmenting and targeting people on a more personal level! Klaviyo is great for this. We use Klaviyo for building several segments and sending them messaging that applies to them.
I love its ease of use, its so user-friendly. And even better, their customer service is top-notch.
I wish the SMS product was just a bit better, but as of now, I am very happy with everything.

I love that the software itself is easy (once you know it) to use but nearly all software apps we require for marketing are able to integrate with it. Making for a MUCH easier work flow process.
Intially learning the platform was a bit tricky. Building out segments felt like a riddle at first but as I researched more, watched videos, looked up articles, I started to get faster and smarter at utilizing what I had at my fingertips.
At the minute, Klaviyo is the best way to keep in touch with our customer base. SMS can sometimes feel invasive (don't want to oversend) but it always feels like I can send to our customers via email.
Klaviyo is a very complete platform and makes email marketing so much easier than some of the competition. I also love the customer support and strategist teams. They are very fast at replying and ready to help solve all issues.
Klaviyo has good reporting, but I wish their segment builder had more options. Also, there should be a way to measure segment growth and decline.
Klaviyo is helping us communicate promotions and news to our most valuable customers. This helps us bring in more revenue month after month.
It has excellent integration with our other Marketing tools and Ecommercoe website. Our account manager is super helpful too.
The technical documentation for custom integration API's isn't great. Creating custom transactional emails to be triggered elsewhere isn't great, either.
It's easier to build segments for more personalized, less "One Size Fits All" emails.
The segmentation tool is phenomenal given how many variables you can use to create specific lists of people for campaigns, we have even used these lists outside of klaviyo for integration with other platforms such as Attentive and doing custom loyalty type incentives!
I don't know that there are any limitations to klaviyo that I have come cross and haven't been able to solve one way or another. I do wish there was an easier method to setting up a dedicated click tracking domain, particularly with shopify, but we were able to accomplish our needs by supplementing with cloudflare.
fully utilizing the features given for audience segmentation to gain the right list of users we want to target for specific campaigns, having the verbose flow builder for automated messaging, and an easy-to-use email template builder that we can create and schedule ahead of time. All of this frees up an enormous amount of time and resources for our team to focus elsewhere.
The ease to build newsletters and blogs for our company. The classes and workshops I've assisted have also been very helpful and educational.
