I like best about clicksend is its API functionality.
I dislike most about Clicksend is its pricing & its limited customization options.
Clicksend is solving the problem of communication for businesses by providing a comprehensive communication platform.
The service offered great rates, was user-friendly, and had a straightforward authentication process. As my team required a mass contacting service, I was able to send my first message before lunchtime.
I wish there wasn't a character limit for messages. It's frustrating to send multiple messages or edit my content to fit the limit. It would be great if the platform could allow extended notifications, especially for essential communications requiring more detailed explanations.
Using Click Send, we can send hundreds of customized text messages all at once, and I appreciate the exciting automation features it offers. The ability to schedule messages and receive replies directly to my phone is also a great plus. However, I do wish that there were no character limit for letters as it can be a bit restrictive at times, especially when trying to convey critical information
I use ClickSend in nonprofits serving individuals who have experienced homelessness. The pricing is good and the UI is intuitive and not challenging to learn or training others how to use.
Although ClickSend has several integrations for connecting the app to external third party data sources (Google Sheets, Airtable, et al.), there doesn't seem to be an option for creating and maintaining contact lists from live data. It would be really helpful if I could have a contact from a list be removed from ClickSend if they were dropped from a connected data source, for example.
ClickSend is a handy tool for quickly and efficiently sending SMS and MMS messages to large numbers of our clients to update them on community events, essential information, and other critical alerts. It's pretty straightforward to use and the pricing is reasonable.
It allows me to send "push notifications" of sorts from a web app!
It charges per text message, but only allows like 160 characters per text, and charged me to send two or three texts when I thought it was just one!

ClickSend has lots of features and it's very easy to use them. And it can also be integrated with other software which I needed the most. Compared to other similar software it has lots of things I need.
What I dislike is that their pricing is higher compared to a few other similar software I have seen and they only allow cards to add a balance to the account with a minimum of only $25 which I don't like.
I'm using ClickSend to send transactional messages to my customers. And it has helped me a lot since I have been using it. They also support integration with one of the popular automation software which helped me alot.

You may add Paypal. They have Stripe for transactions that are not a seamless experience at times. For users, this is a challenge. Paypal is just acceptable and does not generally have difficulties like Stripe.
It solves our aim of connecting applicants without missing anywhere on weekends and holidays. To preserve a healthy link to business and prospects, follow-ups are necessary promptly. It enables us to get Fax from our suppliers quickly and to do so for our customers

We decided to start using ClickSend for 2 main reasons. The first one ClickSend is a pretty easy platform to send SMS you just sign up import your list of contacts, in this case, our users and start to create campaigns, no need to configure through no nothing just like an email marketing platform. The second reason is the price for SMS that is still one of the cheapest prices out there and it decreases the price if you buy more (from 0.045USD down to 0.036USD).
As I say is pretty simple even the interface, not that you need a complex platform to send plan text SMS but still they can improve the User Experience. In the other hand, the only thing I can complain is that ClickSend people will approve or not yous SMS messages and most of the time they get approved quickly but it happens to me that I scheduled a Campaign and in my mind, the campaign was sent but If I log in is quite frustrating that the campaign wasn't sent because it wasn't approved. The solution in 90% of the cases is that we forgot to include an opt-out in the message so it shouldn't happen to you if you include it in every campaign you send.
We have a transportation app in Mexico with more than 130k registered users. We have them filtered in different segments and use different channels of communications from intercom to push notifications, email, and of course, SMS that still it's a very effective communication channel. For transactional SMS we have Twilio or even amazon SMS. But for marketing and notification SMS we need a platform just like ClickSend that could remain pretty similar to emailing tools (as Mailchimp). That's why for us ClickSend was the best option thinking in simplicity and pricing also a plus is that it has connectivity with Zapier so it opens a world of possibilities.
The API (Zapier, Make.com) is excellent and it's easy to automate updating your lists. This elimiantes manual updates. Easy to register the number (as is now requreired). Customer support is the absolute best!
It is missing basic features. If you get a reply, there's no flag in the Messenger to let you know there's a new text reply. The interface is odd sometimes, not sure why there's a difference between Quick SMS and a Campaign. The Camapign is actually more restrictive and it doesnt allow you to select multiple lists, like the Quick SMS option does. It's odd. There's a delay in sending a message as they reivewed somehow. Other services just send out your message.

The ability to send Fax documents online is a life saver when you have to send an important document and your Fax machine is stuck back in 1999. The new era is digital and having to use Fax format for certain legal scenarios does present a problem for the newer generations, thankfully ClickSend is here to save us from spending money on hardware that we wont really need at the end of the month.
Everything about this application is great, the versatility, the fluidity and the completeness.
The requirement for a fax machine and the spendeture for such equipment can be solved digitally with this application.
NOTHING AT ALL. TERRIBLE. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. BAD RESPONSE TIME. BAD APP. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU TRUST A FOREIGN COMPANY. FIND ANOTHER SERVICE!
It took about a month to get the service setup. They would ask me the same questions over and over again and every time I would respond, it would take a week to get and answer from them. Once it finally got set up, it would not integrate with Google Calendar. The only way to speak to tech support is through chat. They said they would have the dev team review the issue and get back to me. FIVE DAYS LATER, I had to ask if there was any progress. Of course, there isn't. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

It is very quick and easy to set up an SMS campaign. It only takes about 3 minutes.
It took us 9 months just to set up our account and be able to start using it. Our customer service rep was so terrible at communication that it caused significant delays in that process. He would give us different answers to the same questions week to week. Once we finally had our account ready to go, we found out it couldn't even do some of the things we wanted. There are much better SMS marketing tools out there, so I do not recommend this one.

I got many problems on first creating an account because the activation code was not working, but thanks to their team, they directly wrote me back and be punctual on how to solve it.
The latest solution which I have liked the most, preciously the mails were landing in the spam box even though the recipients were our customers, but now I found huge improvements on it

It is serving a lot of purposes as of now. I don't think there is anything to dislike about ClickSend Fax Getaway. Probably the only online fax solution that everyone might be waiting for. Way to go.
Literally many of my problems have been addressed. I'm able to manage senders easily. This email to fax services is supporting every email provider such as outlook, Gmail, etc. Easy to send fax from computer. Simple to send bulk fax messages.
Everything about ClickSend appeals to me. They offer a tonne of functions, but SMS is my favorite. It is very easy to use and has a very user-friendly interface.
If numerous users use the same number, it would be excellent to have more sensible routing. Sometimes it may seem that the text is too brief to keep the price low.
They have the best SMS services that helped me connect with my clients and make them aware of the new tools, offers and services we have added so they cannot miss them. That's the best service to connect with my clients.
The best thing about ClickSend is that I have a variety of communication types I can trigger from my CRM via an API connection. These include SMS messages, printed letters in an envelope, email and postcards. Where else can you do that?
There's nothing to dislike that ClickSend has control of. US regulations about text messaging changed recently, and that was a bummer... but clicksend was ver communicative about how to prepare for the changes.
In my business, I often need to use multi-channel communication to ensure that the customer gets the information and can respond. The challenge was having to re-create the content in every channel separately. With ClickSend, I create once and publish everywhere. I can also create campaigns that mix the channels over time.
I like the fact that you can have several different campaigns to text. You can send out a large amount of texts or send them out individually.
I don't like how it's hard to manage the responses from your text campaign. You don't get a reminder and url link doesn't pull up the conversation when you try to share it.
We are solving the problem of sending texts messages to multiple people and not having them sent through our personal cell phones. It's nice to be able to send out mass texts.
