The ease of use, variety of templates. Ease of scheduling.
I really can't think of anything at the present. I have been using Aweber for a few years and haven't had any trouble.
Love the ability to enroll people into automatic emails. I have discovered recently you can enroll existing subscribers into another campaign with ease.
The analytics is by far my favorite with aWeber. Not only can I create my messaging, but to see the results in real-time is invaluable. Especially having it laid out in clear metrics that I can understand.
I wish that adding pictures/flyers to a sign-up form was easier where a url was not needed and simply have the ability to attach the document in JPEG/PNG form. I also like the ease of having consistent messages sent in a series, but would like the transition to a new design easier. When I do switch, it doesn't fully pullover the full design as though it wants to keep using the old style.
I'm realizing better what my followers want to see and what's not important for them. Although I'm still trying to get the exact sweet spot of putting out products that all get clicked and convert into sales, knowing what they don't especially care for (through lack of clicks and engagement) has been very helpful as well. I don't repeat the same mistakes and keep titrating for best practices.
AWeber is the easiest most effective email service I've used. It's almost intuitive in its capabilities and in designing templates... it allows the most flexibility in terms of lists, both growing, migrating, and using... and best of all, there is always someone on the other end of the phone when I get stuck. I can't ever see using another service.
The price is a bit high. It could be lower.
Email marketing.
the new themes are wonderful. Emails seem to get delivered quite consistently
I'd like it if we had the functionality of being able to parse different subscribers. In other words, if someone has already subscribed but hasn't purchased yet they would go into a dif area.
Staying in touch with automation.
I had a series of questions about subscriber and list management, and all were answered promptly and helpfully by the customer service team.
I run a number of separate lists and many of our customers are on more than one list. As Aweber counts each customer on each list towards the total this puts us in a higher price bracket than if Aweber didn't count duplicate records towards the total.
We provide a weekly email newsletter about open water swimming to our readers. This helps us stay in people's minds and encourages paid subscriptions to our print and digital magazine.
The ability to speak to my customers, segment my lists. The follow up series allows you to teach folks without having to be too involved unless they have questions. I have gained several new customers that started out as newsletter subscriptions.
I have had a couple of technical issues over the years. These have been resolved promptly. This usually had to do with things that happened after an upgrade.
Customer retention and acquisition. I have several different email series that can answer in depth questions for customers and prospects as well.
Aweber provides great deliverability as a respected name in the e-mail service provider business. As a long time user I have had great success with AWeber and top notch support as well.
The new interface and all of the current changes have taken some getting used to. I am sure that with time and use these new features will be an asset.
With AWeber I have the ability to segment my list into prospects, customers, etc. It gives me an easy way to stay on top of the communication needs I have with my lists.
I really like the statistics that are provided so I can see who opened my emails and what links they clicked on.
I wish there was an easier way to create a customized "submit" button for my email signup forms from within the AWeber system itself.
I use AWeber to send automated sequences of emails containing free training material to potential new clients for my business. Once I've written the emails, I schedule them for delivery on certain days and AWeber takes care of the rest.
The system is very good, very stable and good for integrate with tools like optimizepress, but what I really like most is the reliability of it. I send thousands of emails and a very few bounce. It make me secure about my campaings and the delivery of my information feeling more confortable in sending any time I need
There are only 02 things to make it better for me 1-When we opt in, the message goes in english and is not editable. The problem is big part of my public speaks portuguese. I am 100% sure that it put it in portuguese I would have a increase in subscribers and my list would grow. Thinking in a multilanguage plataform will only put a crown in actual King ;) 2-A/B test is awesome and we do not have it in aweber... :( If it has its not intuitive to use. I would really check this to perfection!
Good way to connect with my audience. Easier to get in touch and sell
It's simple and very wuicly to use. I can mange my emails in few minutes and contact all my costumers
I can't move people for a list to another and i find some difficult to upload my offline contacts
Contact my custumers in a easy way
Aweber is a mature service that continues to add features. It is easy to use, integrates widely, and has great delivery rates.
It would be great to see more robust segmenting and easier movement between lists.
I find that it is great for communicating with prospects and customers. One of the most significant advantages is that Aweber enables the creation of repeat buyers through its slick service.
Short learning curve and responsive support system if you have questions.
Certain analytics are hard to find. Reviewing how broadcast emails are performing. It's a little confusing if you have the same people on different lists...Aweber counts both lists at part of total subscribers which is misleading.
I'm in the process of creating an email list to sell services/products.
They have wonderful, short tutorials/webcasts that not only show you how to use their service, but give you lots of great ideas for reaching your audience more effectively. I also appreciate that they let you know if something you want to publish might be tagged as spam.
Their sign-up forms sometimes don't work.
Communicating with customers in a way that's much more reliable than Facebook.
The reason I use Aweber above all the other (cheaper) mailing list solutions is for the automation features. I love being able to automatically add people from my engagement lists to my main broadcast list. Makes list management a cinch.
My biggest complaint about Aweber has always been related to custom templates and the 'ugly' email creation area. Templates are still a mystery to me, but I'm in love with the new email design area.
I'm solving the need to connect with my audience. I have found that Aweber makes it easy for me to get in touch with everyone quickly and allow them to reply to me with the touch of a button. Two-way communication has never been easier.
I like the plethora of information and the amount of customization that is available.
The pricing tiers and cost which jump rapidly at very small email lists.
The automated emails when getting a new sign up are great. Helps to cut down on emailing new fans in the beginning.
