I love the fact that you Can section distinct channels to talk about certain topics specifically, have ideas, and even have processes applied through Slack. It helps organize all the conversations had in a much more professional way

I dislike the fact that when it is free messages get deleted, I know we should get pro but maybe a feature to download a database would be nice cause it has affected processes in my workplace in the past

It solves the problem of having direct and fast communication without crossing personal boundaries in the workplace. You can set notifications to stop showing after 6 pm or the hour you go out so that's also really helpful to keep a work life balance.

Slack is one of the most reliable and effective communication tools I have come across during my work span. The main thing I like about slack is it's continually developing and testing out newly added features. Recently it tested out and added the huddles feature, which turned out to be a massive success for Slack and it's users.

Slack is excellent software and has nothing much to dislike. One of the few reasons to oppose it is that it deleted all the previously sent messages and media once the free trial ended for the users. This usually annoys every user during their usage of Slack because unless your slack workplace owners get a paid package, you will have no way to see the message history.

So far so good through the support everything has her moving on smoothly. We are to keep our customers happy by getting answers and reaching resolutions with help from our entire organisation and the surrounding support.

Slack makes the tools we use more better by integrating with them seamlessly where it brings Tasks, notifications and project management into one place where it keeps all our projects on truck. We use it to hold meetings and also make cheap calls to our customers and clients for important discussions. I like how it keeps information clear and visible, share documents including files in project channels where the work keeps on moving forward.

I like the fact that we can organize our communication in different channels and integrate it with many tools/platforms we use, such as Drata, Jira and others.

I wish the video call function were a little better. Also private channels that are already created cannot be changed to public channels.

Without the bot API we would be lost as a company. All of our important notifications appear instantly across the slack channel in their dedicated space. We know the moment service goes down.

I'd love it if slack was open source or selfhostable. I understand this isn't always possible and we're still happy with slack and not looking for an alternative.

Slack is the best business communication tool that i have used in my whole career i have to admit that it fits in every organisation budget. Sleek design, the audio and video quality is very top-notch. Messages and updates are delivered immediately with some features like reacting to messages which makes chatting very fun and enjoyable. I use it mainly during my marketing duties as manager i have to interact with different people where i involve Slack to do my meetings where i don't feel like traveling, also connecting with remote teams been an added advantage. Slack saves the day by being so cost effective and time saving.

I love that slack can be used for a multitude of things. Whether it be informal 'water cooler' talk in a remote landscape, or for quick answers from teammates where an email would get lost, it adds to the workday.

I am a notification fiend, so seeing the notifications on channels I am unable to mute due to importance can feel like a to-do list. That's less of a software limitation and issue than it is personal workstyle though.

It is somewhat old-fashioned so it can have a better UI. It has a little bit expensive pricing model. I have experience call quality issues a few times that I feel it should work on. Also, it can have multiple chat support at the same time to chat with different people on one screen.

The best thing about slack is to communicate with the team, and you can add a specific app like GitHub to share your git comment on the chat.

There's nothing to dislike. UI is supercool and allows me to do tons of stuff.

Slack can be quite expensive for a small company, the free plan has very few features that at times are not reliable. Messgaes get deleted after a certain period of time.
