Pump is a brilliant tool that helps to reduce AWS bills significantly. I was amazed by how much money could be saved using Pump, without compromising on the quality or performance of the cloud services. Pump is very easy to use, and it integrates seamlessly with my AWS account.
I donβt like their website designβ¦ sometimes it seems too complicatedβ¦ I will suggest them that they make their websiteβs design more User friendly and keep the important information only.
Pump is solving the problem of cloud cost optimization, which is a challenge for many cloud users. AWS comes with a lot of complexity and unpredictability. Pump helps to cloud spending more efficiently, finding the best pricing options
Easy to get setup with Pump and start saving on AWS costs, and the founder + team is super responsive.
Nothing presently! Would be great to see them expand to other cloud platforms and hosted databases too.
Optimizing our cloud spend β directly beneficial to us as an early-stage startup watching costs.
Pump is easy to setup and delivers on what it promises. We have been able to reduce our aws cost significantly using Pump. Truly amazing.
As such, the software is perfectly meeting its intended purpose.
AWS costs are hard to manage. A solution like Pump helps it centralize and easy to manage.
AWS has been saving us 40%+ on AWS each month. No-brainer, and wish we had done it sooner. Setup is very straightforward, took us just 2 days to get started, and they have a super responsive team when we had a few questions to go through with them.
Currently covers AWS, only. Part of our spend is on GCP, hoping they launch support there soon.
Pump is reducing our cloud cost spend significantly (40%+).
Pump is simply THE BEST company for optimizing your cloud costs. They have directly saved me tens if not hundreds of thousands. Any AWS user should drop what they're doing and sign up. You're literally losing money by not signing up.
Hard to find a negative but I'd say they could offer PLG. But even then I can't say anything bad about Pump - my experience has been nothing but stellar.
Pump helps lower cloud costs by leveraging group-buying. They've directly saved my firm tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. They are super easy to work with and Spandana is a highly competent and responsive founder.
Pump is a free and easy way to save money on your AWS bill. AWS costs can be tough to handle, especially for small teams like ours in the pre-seed stage. Pump simplifies this by helping us cut our AWS expenses with just a few clicks. it was really easy to integrate with our AWS account.
There's not much to dislike about it because it's basiclly free money returning to us, allowing us to allocate it into various other parts of our company. That being said, it would be exciting if they could expand their support for a wider range of services, including multi-cloud solutions.
Large companies negotiate exclusive deals and discounts with cloud providers, which startups typically cannot access. Moreover, large corporations benefit from substantial finance and DevOps teams that specialize in optimizing savings. In contrast, smaller companies or teams often struggle to tap into these advantages. This is precisely where Pump has come to our rescue. They have enabled us to take these savings opportunities for free.
I like that it was easy to setup and that it gave me no problems from the begining. Pump is a simple software but does what it promises it cuts your AWS bill almost in half. After the YC deal of AWS our company we reduced our usage to 50% but that was not enough and it was using a lot of resources the money we could use to improve our platform/service. So we found and starte using pump that lowered our usage another 50%. This is just amazing and I recommend anyone to give it a shot.
So easy that is scary, befor start using pump I had a lot of doubts about what will happen to my system. I wish to have more information before starting using it (however now I don't need it) Also a bit of annoyance is that pump will be your billing contact for AWS meaning you will deal with them instead of AWS. So negotiation of costs to AWS needs to go through pump.
It reduced the cost of AWS
Pump is super easy to setup and the AWS linking process is also seamless. The team has been super helpful with their help and support.
We have really enjoyed using pump so far. No cons as of now.
It helps us in reducing our AWS expense
Pump uses group buying and AI (PumpGPT) to help me save large amounts on AWS bills without any engineering effort. The interface of Pump is simple and intuitive and looks great. I can easily share my savings reports and insights from Pump with other leadership members. I like how Pump also does not require many of my AWS permissions (only billing) so I trust their system.
The main drawback of Pump is that it only supports AWS, but many companies including mine are multi-cloud. I am eagerly waiting for Azure support, as well as other providers like Google Cloud. It would be very cool if Pump could offer cross-cloud optimization and tell me which cloud to deploy virtual machines on based on the cost and availability. This would make Pump a one-stop solution for cloud cost management and I would use it for all my virtual machine buying.
As a CTO, Pump solves the problem of high and unpredictable cloud costs for my company. Cloud costs are the second largest spend after headcount, and they can quickly eat up our budget and affect our profitability. Usually I spin up instances to test out if the performance is good, but I am often not sure I want a long term commitment and end up paying more than the Reserved Instnace cost. Pump lets me use instances for as long as I need at a low cost and also resell them easily to other users when I don't need them.
Ease of use as you don't have to anything and it's free. Ease of Implementation is there too. Customer support also offers onboarding support. And they have number of features for cost saving.
How insights work? Ease of integration on billing level
Saving my clooud costs
Wow, I feel like I've been living under a rock! As a new product adopter in the tech industry, I'm always eager to explore innovative solutions. Pump seems like a fantastic discovery for AWS cost optimization. How did I not find out about it earlier? The potential of up to 60 % savings without the need for intricate engineering or financial risks is incredible. The group buying volume discounts make it even more compelling. I can't wait to implement Pump and see the results!
If they could provide automated discounts for GCP as they do for AWS, it would be perfect for our cloud cost optimization efforts
We primarily use it for getting automated discounts on our AWS monthly charges. It's impressive how pump handles the optimization process seamlessly, resulting in significant savings without the need for us to manually intervene. This has allowed us to focus on other strategic aspects of our business while knowing our AWS costs are being taken care of efficiently
I must admit that leveraging AWS for pump applications has changed the playing field. Pump systems are a wonderful fit for AWS's scalability and flexibility since it makes it simple for me to modify resources in response to changes in demand. I can remotely monitor and manage pumps thanks to the seamless interaction with IoT devices, which helps to improve performance and lower downtime. Strong security measures provided by AWS safeguard my data, and real-time analytics enable me to make informed decisions that will increase efficiency. Any novice may easily comprehend the onboarding process. It helps me save more than half my money. Sometimes I get frustrated with the pump AWS application's occasional connectivity issues, causing disruptions in remote monitoring and control, leading to potential operational inefficiencies. But apart from that it's a great application and I believe more improvements are coming in.

A breezy enrollement experience. It linked with our AWS account in a couple of minutes. Thier team is highly accessible and have emaculate technical skills.
They checked all boxes. Nothing to dislike as of now.
Pump helps us cut down our AWS costs. Furthermore their team makes the experiance even pleasing as is highly user friendly.
"The setup procedure is incredibly simple and uncomplicated. I just had to link to our AWS account, and within under half an hour, we were ready to proceed. Their team is highly responsive and has been a pleasure to collaborate with."
I find myself thoroughly satisfied with every aspect; there isn't a single thing that I can pinpoint as a dislike.
Pump has effectively addressed issues related to disorganized data, ineffective teamwork, limited personalization, and the fragmentation of tools. Its offerings have significantly enriched my experience by improving orderliness, fostering collaborative efforts, tailoring to my methods, and rationalizing my suite of tools. Pump goes beyond being a mere task and project management platform; it stands as an all-encompassing resolution that enables me to optimize my work approach and attain superior outcomes.
The setup process is so easy and straight forward. All I had to do was connect to our AWS account and in less than 30 mins we were good to go. Their team is super responsive and have been excellent to work with.
Right now its only AWS but we also have GCP. Waiting for that to role out so we can bring cost savings over to that side as well.
Pump is helping us save over 55% of our previous AWS cost. After our credits ran out we were shocked by our first bill. Glad we have Pump in place to help reduce the burden of that.
Their onboarding was really really starightforward, and I all I needed were access to AWS. For someone non-technical, Pump makes it super easy to understand what they provide
I wish they provided GCP also as we have some usage there and our GCP costs are higher than AWS
They are doing it for me, tbh I dont fully understand how they provide savings, but I am happy with my bill going down each month
Ease of Use ,Ease of Integration and Great Customer Support
I didn't ncounter any downsides for the moment
The cloud cost management problem
Honestly the simplicity of it. The UI/UX is very straight forward!
missing GCP, but I think it's coming in the future
reducing how much we spend on AWS every month.
The team behind Pump is always positive and helpful consistently making improvements. At the moment I cant think of anything about Pump.
I find it difficult to grasp how Pump achieves cost savings, which leaves me uncertain about the effectiveness of their approach.
. Pump solves the problem of water pressure in our business. Its powerful motor boosts the pressure level enhancing customer experience.
