Slack is the top choice for teams to communicate. It provides a virtual workspace that helps teams maintain open communication in a business environment. With Slack, users can host voice and video calls with up to 15 participants and even screen share with a desktop app, empowering better user interaction. Slack also supports options for private and group sessions, and one of its best features is Slack Huddles–an informal meeting space that lets you directly talk to your channel where you can share screen side by side with your team. The platform integrates well with Dropbox, Google Drive, and Trello as well.

I love the fact that you Can section distinct channels to talk about certain topics specifically, have ideas, and even have processes applied through Slack. It helps organize all the conversations had in a much more professional way
I dislike the fact that when it is free messages get deleted, I know we should get pro but maybe a feature to download a database would be nice cause it has affected processes in my workplace in the past
It solves the problem of having direct and fast communication without crossing personal boundaries in the workplace. You can set notifications to stop showing after 6 pm or the hour you go out so that's also really helpful to keep a work life balance.
Slack is one of the most reliable and effective communication tools I have come across during my work span. The main thing I like about slack is it's continually developing and testing out newly added features. Recently it tested out and added the huddles feature, which turned out to be a massive success for Slack and it's users.
Slack is excellent software and has nothing much to dislike. One of the few reasons to oppose it is that it deleted all the previously sent messages and media once the free trial ended for the users. This usually annoys every user during their usage of Slack because unless your slack workplace owners get a paid package, you will have no way to see the message history.
Slack helps us maintain proper communication amongst the team members working both on-site and online. This is the main problem Slack solves for us, as sometimes the communication gap between work-from-home and on-site teams can be troublesome and result in problematic work.
Slack is the collaboration hub that brings the right people together with all the right information and tools work done faster. It works both in real time and asynchronously, making it a good tool for hybrid and all-remote work environments. It's been really great tool that is eliminating use of emails and thus being the most excellent and powerful team messaging app with rich collection and settings and options. Integrates with many other collaboration tools and office tools hence making our work more seamless and effective.
Audio and video quality need improvements. The price tag is okay considering there is a free version which is great with more features to enjoy. Great support team.
Slack is definitely the Top-Ranked business messaging app that offers a lot of benefits to all users at cost effective way. It creates a more spirited environment than many other business messaging app, and the ability to customize it to fit user needs is a huge selling point for Slack. We use Slack for all our internal and external communications with our customers and employees. The UI is very user-friendly and compose windows that is way simplified to make easier for new users to learn how to use this app.
Slack has been our main communication channel where it has greatly improved collaboration and how we relate with our clients and customers globally. It's very easy to use, with a customizable UI which is user friendly and easy to use for the new users. I like it keeps my teams communication organized and efficient. Release better code faster by bringing developers, code changes, and tools in one place. I like how this tool is able to resolve urgent issues, automate our workflow.
So far so good through the support everything has her moving on smoothly. We are to keep our customers happy by getting answers and reaching resolutions with help from our entire organisation and the surrounding support.
Slack makes the tools we use more better by integrating with them seamlessly where it brings Tasks, notifications and project management into one place where it keeps all our projects on truck. We use it to hold meetings and also make cheap calls to our customers and clients for important discussions. I like how it keeps information clear and visible, share documents including files in project channels where the work keeps on moving forward.
I like the fact that we can organize our communication in different channels and integrate it with many tools/platforms we use, such as Drata, Jira and others.
I wish the video call function were a little better. Also private channels that are already created cannot be changed to public channels.
Real time messaging with coworkers, shring screenshots and app integration make our job tasks more efficient and quicker.
Without the bot API we would be lost as a company. All of our important notifications appear instantly across the slack channel in their dedicated space. We know the moment service goes down.
I'd love it if slack was open source or selfhostable. I understand this isn't always possible and we're still happy with slack and not looking for an alternative.
Slack allows everyone to separate their work and home life easily with simple notification toggles. My employees can allow important notifications to come through if they want to, otherwise they'll still be there in the morning.
Before we had difficulties when it came to projects management because lack of proper communication tool, we had also many challenges when it came to marketing our products globally but when we choose to work with Slack everything process was streamlined. I really enjoy using Slack to connect with various groups and individuals whom i need to interact with while i am on my marketing duties inside or outside my organization. Slack ever since has been best-in-class for our project communications and also keeping our communication on course. It's a very convenient tool also for our daily tasks.
I like how easy to set up new workspace, and once done they're set it becomes easy to connect with all other people with the same interest simply in either synchronous or asynchronous manner. Overall i don't see any negative experience so far so good. The support has been the Best-in-class.
Slack is the best business communication tool that i have used in my whole career i have to admit that it fits in every organisation budget. Sleek design, the audio and video quality is very top-notch. Messages and updates are delivered immediately with some features like reacting to messages which makes chatting very fun and enjoyable. I use it mainly during my marketing duties as manager i have to interact with different people where i involve Slack to do my meetings where i don't feel like traveling, also connecting with remote teams been an added advantage. Slack saves the day by being so cost effective and time saving.
I love that slack can be used for a multitude of things. Whether it be informal 'water cooler' talk in a remote landscape, or for quick answers from teammates where an email would get lost, it adds to the workday.
I am a notification fiend, so seeing the notifications on channels I am unable to mute due to importance can feel like a to-do list. That's less of a software limitation and issue than it is personal workstyle though.
Keeping in touch with coworkers in multiple offices and timezones, and relaying urgency where an email can get lost. It brings the team together and helps us get to know one another and align common goals.
Slack is a tool that makes it easy for me to communicate with my remote team and it's easy to create conversations between workgroups.
It does not have a Zoom integration to have conversations alongside calls.
Asynchronous conversations with people in different parts of the world. Replacement of many unnecessary emails.
Slack is a great way to manage teams and chat. It has public and private channels which make it easier to handle chats with employees and clients. It is customizable as per the requirements and an easy way to transfer files instantly. As it is focused on business, it has a lot of integration to increase the productivity.
It is somewhat old-fashioned so it can have a better UI. It has a little bit expensive pricing model. I have experience call quality issues a few times that I feel it should work on. Also, it can have multiple chat support at the same time to chat with different people on one screen.
Slack has reduced the problem of communicating in person for businesses. It has introduced a platform where you can communicate and collaborate together with the support of integration and file sharing. It is a platform where employees can manage everything in one place. With its feature of mobile app and notifications, it has become easy to keep track of messages and communication happening in the team.

Slack is excellent for communicating with your team. The most important thing about Slack is group creation; I can make a group for the project I am working on and add my team to it.
The intuitive UI and ease of collaboration with colleagues is amazing. I can easily setup channels and administer rules for my channels. Slack makes collaboration fun other than just 2 way chatting ways.
There's nothing to dislike. UI is supercool and allows me to do tons of stuff.
I can easily integrate Slack with my CRM application and track my workflows or tasks. I can easily share required information with my team and collaborate on a particular case with dedication instead of making a mess on any other collaboration platform.

I really love its intergration features, easy to intergrate with other softwares such as Google Calendar. You can easliy create multiple channels with no hassle.
Slack can be quite expensive for a small company, the free plan has very few features that at times are not reliable. Messgaes get deleted after a certain period of time.
We use Slack for internal communications. Its an easy and helpful software for collaboration. We also use it to connect with clients for instabt messaging unlike using emails.
Instant messaging. Great notifications. Usefulness when used in combination with Notion.
Does not work great unless everyone on staff uses it.
Only one place to look for messaging. Don't have to check multiple email accounts or other apps.
