Integrations and Automations are by far my favorites. Being able to quickly integrate 3rd party services and data and then turn around and Automate critical tasks found from the data is crucial in our business. Exporting and importing data back and forth from one system to another is time-consuming and inefficient. So the ability to connect to all of our essential data sources streamlines this process. Automating tasks based on conditional logic puts the icing on the cake for me. Creating the same repetitive task week after week and sometimes day after day is mind-numbing and a waste of time. I am grateful that Monday.com had the foresight to include integrations and automation.
At times it can be a little slugish when there is a lot of tasks or maybe if it has too many integration points. I have found the need to have to split some boards up to get the system to respond a bit faster. Sub-items are a bit of a challenge to adapt them to our needs. I wish there was more documented uses of this feature and how it works with timelines and time management
Managing & Keeping up with a multitude of tasks as well as hours spent on tasks is a lot easier now. But managing repetive tasks and duplication of projects has been very helpful.
Monday.com is very flexible. It is easy to visually create boards with different structures and fields that fit various projects. I chose this over other solutions for how quickly I could test and implement it.
I wish the notification system was a little more sophisticated, like if I could turn off email notifications when building out a lot and setting up assignments so that users don't get bombarded. A batch email that rolls up all of the items to notify would be better than individual ones for each thing in those cases. Otherwise, I'm quite happy with it.
We are using this for collaboration on projects across various teams. Its been a great way to centralize work and files and keep everyone in the loop at once. This has cut out a lot of emails.
Ability to easily share common items with external companies for collaboration and transparency.
Nothing really, the features added in the last 2-3 years have covered all of the initial challenges/wishes we had.
Cross-team and cross company collaboration.
the fact you can have multiple board and having everything in one place
I don't have any problem or dislike about Monday
I use Monday for my daily and monthly task
The all-in-one features. My team was able to transition on and off-campus effortlessly due to its duality. We can communicate 24/7, streamline efforts and share live-time updates and track team productivity.
It can be overwhelming when you first get on, but once you get used to it, it's great. I also wish they had more creative templates and more affordable pricing - but still good.
Able to monitor the progress of projects and track productivity - from anywhere. It made office operations much more seamless and taught us that less is more and organization is key.
Help organize our project in a very transparent way
Nothing. I enjoy the platform and all my team is using it on a daily basis
Task management Operational flows Checklists Cross départemental shared projects
I am able to organize. Checked due items . I am able to run my day
No issues so far. I hope I can copy and paste task to next month task
I am able to run my day. Organize my day. I feel like Im running my day
So easy to navigate, tag work colleagues and create workstreams. We use it for meetings, especially the timing function when we have lot to get through. Integrates. perfectly with other apps eg, Slack
Nothing - I cant find anything I dislike
Tasks are managed perfectly, which in turn, helps productivity across our business
The best thing is you and your team members can check what each one is working on and what progress has been made.
Nothing at all, Everything is just awesome
The entire department is communicating and assigning tasks through monday and a good way for thing to keep in progress
If you are looking for a Project Management platform, look no further. Monday.com has you covered. Monday.com will help your team be more productive and efficient. The best part, you can celebrate milestones with llamas!
There is not anything I do not like about Monday.com. The platform is always looking for new ways to be innovative.
You can use Monday.com for more than just Project Management. With all of its functionalities, you can use the platform for almost anything.
Access to my work anytime and any where Invite my colleagues to view my progress Sync data in real time.
I am unable to add any guest names on my updates or replies.
Track time and progress. See who is working on what project. Keep everyone updated with the real time updates.
Creating different board's across and handling them separately.
Controlling different boards comes with disadvantages, like you can exactly control the boards when you are not subscribed, even if you are admin.
Online space, accessing from everywhere. Therefore, for all employees, all need is the internet to continue to keep track of their tasks.
Well, i would the predefined boards are simply amazing
nothing really, it has everything that is needed for any type of company
Support issues, development issues, and tracking of teams progress
I like the formatting of schedules, notifications and automations
Sometimes it's complicated to link arrays together, but those are advanced uses
We manage the tasks of the teams, the progress and the follow-up of the projects.
The level of customization you can achieve in every board. It allows you to tailor the requirements to move your task and actions to accelerate & facilitate collaboration with your team and make it as seamless as possible. It's also visually very interesting to look at and the in-built dashboards and automations can really help you automate and keep track of tasks and make your life easier. Interestingly, there was little internal resistance to adapt to change when we made the transition from another tool
Mainly it can be challenging to understand how to set up automations, but there is plenty of material online and youtube to help you get the most out of it. It may be good to be able to have a "dialogue" box as a column option, that way you don't have to go into the task discussion to have a look.
Having a general overview in the organization from sales to delivery. Great benefits realized in terms of prioritizing tasks and not letting things slip due to the reminders and agreed internal processes that were set up as a result of our transition to Monday.com
Monday is very flexible and matches perfectly for every different need. Several and very other departments of our company are using monday.com right now. From the web- and software development to marketing and controlling. What we like about monday.com too is the massive amount of integrations. So we use it with jot form to make internal processes like business card orders, reorders, workwear orders, etc., intelligent and digital. It all arrives as a ticket/task within the specific board. And the best is: Everyone, even outside the Monday-universe, is kept up to date cause Monday sends updates when a particular status changes.
Really: Nothing! Sure - it's a massive tool with a significant number of features, and it will take some time to identify the best way to use it for your unique needs. But that's a thing you have to do with every tool.
We're managing all of our different small and complex projects through Monday. Without Monday, there would be many tasks we would lose "on the way". On the development side, we help our developers collect all necessary information for the specific job in one place instead of writing loads of e-mails. The benefits are that work gets much more efficient, and essential duties stay focused.
It is so flexible that we can store any type of information or organize any project or company effort within this one platform. Options to set boards up with countless columns and information types allows us to keep everything in one go-to spot.
There are not many things I dislike about Monday! There are a lot of notifications for tags, etc. that we haven't fully gotten a handle on as a team, but I think that is more of a matter of internal process!
We are managing two different companies on the platform and use it for everything. We house HR documentation, organize invoicing/finances, manage projects, create shared workspaces with clients, and use it for scheduling.
I love the friendly, intelligent, and creative interface. It makes a big database look simple, easy to use and it invites the user to work on it every day. To be more specific, I love the different formats of the columns available, I love the integrations and the automations with Gmail because it is now easy to send automatic emails to customers in regards to their process, this saves a lot of time of my day!
There are not too many things I dislike about Monday, except the fact that it is not possible to personalize the emails with a different type of font, color of the font, size, images, videos, etc. I know I can use links and that I could use my own inbox to do that but it would be good to have that.
I am saving a lot of time of my day by having the full tracking of all my customers and all the startup and innovation competitions they manage. I have all the information in one place, one board and I do not need to use different platforms to take the control of all my projects I do not need to jump on a call all the time to explain the activities assigned to each of my team members, I just assign them and they can figure it out with the rest of the details on the board. I do not have to spend time creating emails that are always the same for new customers It is very simple and quick to create charts to make a presentation
Monday helps keep our office super organized and documented and make sure we are all on task to execute daily objectives
There is nothing that I don't like about Monday
Monday makes sure that we are not duplicating work
Communication in the workplace has drastically improved due to everything being in one place on Monday.com. It allows me to work alongside other departments more easily and plan my own work too. The app and the desktop version are both really easy to use, and the email notifications are helpful.
There is nothing in particular which I don't like about the software itself.
Time management and communication issues across deparments.
