I like it's reporting, kanban, third-party tool integration, Onboarding, IAM, Secure SSO, Documentation using Confluence and also managing deployments too with webhook integration with CD tools.
The initial setup is a little complex which requires technical knowledge. Open source Tool some time not easy to intigerate, but most of the things are now available in the marketplace.
It solves our problems like capacity planning, covering technical tasks within the timeframe and achieving delivery on time, it's easy to generate the benchmark of every individual.
Jira is the software that I have used the longest because it has allowed me to have advanced functionality and highly configurable content by providing services in task and project management and thanks to this we have been market leaders for a long time. It has a pretty good design with the control panel and task tracking which allows an almost perfect collaboration with any internal work team.
Sometimes the learning curve is quite high with our trainees, which causes them to standardize projects too much and not get to the point we want. If you do not get to configure the work panel well the return will be delayed and the same investment will have delays.
Jira is the best tool to manage projects and reports, it offers us as a tool a good experience with the workflow in real time and we have no problems when we make collaborations and integrations with third party software at enterprise and personal level which is very good for us as companies and for our customers.
Jira makes it easy to track changes, assign developers through the dev cycle, and provide executive summaries for management.
I haven't found anything lacking for our needs.
Both summary and detail level agile management is nicely supported. It's simple to manage and track status at both developer level and up to management.
Very good plugins available which are very handy to use and adapt
Its really a good growing application and not so much for negative
Sprint reviews and project tracking is very easy, specially report making is very handy
It's easy to integrate, assign people and get started. The best part of this software is the drag-and-drop functionality. Moreover this has a great user interface.
Although it's easy to integrate and get started but maybe some more video documentation availability could help us a lot. The mobile still needs some work to do with the interface.
While working with the team and assigning work, helps me to see all statuses at once in one place. The timeline is also a great feature to have which makes it a single platform to maintain a project.
Jira has given the advantage of establishing favorable performance due to its tools, it is consistent and effective in handling highly cumbersome projects. The situation of the program is interesting in the market, it has no negative comments from most of its users and I am one more who gives a positive point because it helps me to have everything organized.
No comments apply that trigger a malfunction or that it does not meet the requirements. It is extraordinary.
We take for granted that Jira can include more than a dozen projects that can be structured, organized and controlled every day, it has a unique performance that favors the firm to finish on time previously planned work. It is fluid and efficient, we can have a large project list and manage it moderately as well. We have obtained the excellent performance we have always wanted in organizing and controlling our tasks.
Jira is by far the best for project planning, tracking and managing the issues. Jira provides multiple customizations like security, mfa, workflows, schemes, views, different kinds of boards like kanban boards etc which helps the team to efficiently keep a track on individual tasks.
Jira has so many bugs and lots of feature requests are pending for developer's review. Also, Jira support somewhat lacks the expertise in their cloud product domain and they need to train the support engineers to tackle complex issues that arises in automation for jira, insights, jira API etc
Project management Project segregation Security schemes to manage who can view the tasks they are supposed to Automation for jira helps in triggering the repeated events. Workflow schemes helps to reuse and update the existing workfloe instead of creating a whole new workflow from scratch Jira Service Management portal works like a charm to handle the customers who do not need license thereby saving the licence costs
1. Jira makes defect tracking process more effective and it really improved the product quality of delivery. 2. I really like customization of report and fields. 3. Integration with various tools like slack, github and so many.....
When it's very large enterprise project. jira is not capable to handle such large project. Jira can improve solutions to handle large enterprise development projects.
Jira help team to efficiently manage defect tracking and also task management make simple and easy.
I have used Jira for almost 3 and a half years back at WNS and now using in xpo and Jira never disappointed. Jira has so much customisation such as kanban boards, security schemes, workflow schemes, different issue types, linking of issues within with plays a great role in bug tracking and well as project management
I was never happy with Jira support team. Most of our issues used to hover around automation for jira and their support team has very less expertise in that which led to SLA breaches etc
Project management Bug tracking Security schemes to cater different teams needs Time tracking feature to track issues Automation for jira to automate the FNP tasks Great UI interface for user management and licence management
Jira is great for Project Management, being able to use Kanban boards and track the team's sprints in one location is key.
Putting in tickets is easy, but there are too many requirements that are not needed. I tend to put n/a too often.
Jira is a great software that my team can use to track the status of their projects, while making the necessary adjustments.
End to End tracking for software development lifecycle (SDLC) & support starting from planning, assigning tasks, testing (SIT), bug fixing, ITSM, etc...
A bit slow, and no uniqueness in task mean accepts duplicate task as well
Managing the complete project delivery life cycle is helpful in successful delivery
The platform is very flexible, it allows you to set up everything inside the platform and also creates automation in different things. For me is very useful to have this kind of flexibility
There are some sections that are very complex to use, even though there is lots of documentation out there but sometimes is not enough and you need to start looking everywhere to find solutions
Is solving the way e control tasks across the product development team in my company, also is providing us a excellent tool to centralize the new developments support and QA tasks
The sprint planning for the project is effectively handled with the use of jira tool. The defects are properly tracked and it can automatically sends the mail alerts together with defect raised.
To close the main story all the sub defects needs to be closed but sometimes the parent story needs to be closed and the child story/defect needs to be handled in the next sprint which is little complex to achieve
Effective tracking of the defects raised by the QA team and it gives the options to tag the people so that the managers are also aware of the entire process tra king and can take actions if required in case of urgency.
I have experienced some project management software, and this one has a really interactive interface. One of the features that I appreciate is the road map, it is well designed.
The setup of our project has been long. I think it could be easier to configure a new project.
I am a developer and my Job is to fix the bugs that our platform has. Jira has a notion of tickets and I can interact with my coworkers about the platform thanks to that feature.
Best project management software...which helps a lot for team members during whole project.
It's user interface could be more familiar to users...little bit difficult to use.
Jira manage the whole workflow during project and assign task into team members
Agile Methodology can be best practiced if we are using Jira as the tool. Sprint, Scrum Roles, ceremonies, creation of different dashboards to allocate and track the task is the highlight. Each task can be created as Jira tickets and this can be slotted tobthe backlog and then to the Scrum Board Or Kanban Board when it is assigned to a person with the time estimate. Every bit of work remains tracked as no other tools or methods are required
Nothing as a dislike. But there is a glitch I've found when we create a nee jira card and when the view is switched to text from normal view. Editing becomes a lot confusing as there are certain prefixes to be used.
Software development Project is completely tracked with Jira. Each team member is been added to the scrum team. Gets access to whichever the boards they need to be in. Every bit of work is on track with correct practice of Agile Methodology and Scrum
We use jira at our company and it really helps you and your team out with task management
When you need to move the task from one project to other it gets a little hectic also setting it up is quite a work.
We used to use excel to track all the tasks it was like not accessible to everyone. Then we moved to google sheets. It was accessible to everyone but it was all static. Now we are working with jira and it solved all the problems.
Queue Management Project Management Priority Transaction Status and flow Collaboration Easy yo add remove and manage
After using it from the last 3 years I have only faced one issue while using on Mobile Phone only, Sometimes it says the issue is not available
Customer Related issue reported by CS team No such problems I have had till now
Simple, efective, and so easy to use. You can track easily your projects and you can even use agile, kanban and another methodologies with Jira. It's the best software to use for project management in my opinion.
Sometimes is kind of complex to use. I mean, to move between backlogs and another tables. Features like markdown should be a default option for the tickets.
It is easy, free and you can even create your personal space to track your own tickets on the way. It makes us so productive. With a copy paste, you can even track a ticket and share it with your company. Integrations are fine, like the slack one.
Jira has best ticket management platform where I can easily track ticket and get relevant data of particular tickets
there is nothing disliked services at jira all tools are very helpful for developers
when we work with large team members or large products Jira provides a one-stop solution for me and my organization, I am more productive with jira where can find the necessary information for the development
