It meets all of my requirements since I enjoy writing notes. By using this program, we can save all of our information in a centralized zone. The fact how I can view my notes from just about any platform ( device ) with relative ease is a significant plus, particularly for project administrators or other people who move the multiple devices on a project. I've gotten into the routine of making all of my notes online so that I can easily share twith others With this simple and effective note-taking tool, I can easily handle my everyday regular activities as well as the complete assignment from a single location. I enjoy the screen recording feature, as well as the option to select which section of a webpage to screen record, and the web clipper feature.
It's doesn't run on an Ubuntu server. However it does give deployment choices, and can be loaded on such systems, but it requires a complicated config to function correctly.
Keep all of my paperwork in one place so that I don't have to worry about losing notes in the future. I put a message on the board and selected the closest item. I do use this for corporate meetings, as well as for personal purposes. Using it to ensure you wouldn't miss anything when making a presentation or daily meeting minutes
Evernote is handy in use, you need just to register then choose something from its crossplatform and begin to save and manage any texts, URLs, notes, etc you want. My choice is Chrome extention, I found it the most convenient.
Desktop application's size and requirements are too much for this kind of software (that's why I picked Chrome ext.)
Fast and easy access to every data I collect during web surfing
I like that Evernote can support multiple platform provided you have Internet connected devices, you can manage content easily. Clou management-by default, all Evernote content stays online, you never have to sync local copies between devices.
My only dislike is that for the free accounts only limited size of notes allowed. Nevertheless everything is brilliant.
I appreciate the existence of Optical Character Recognition(OCR) this enables when a user upload an image to Evernote the app scans that image for readable text,if any is found the text becomes searchable.
The best thing about this application is that it works both on PC and mobile, and both can be easily synced together. The application is available for Windows, Macs, iPhones, and Android mobile phones, making it easily accessible to users at large. The User Interface of the application is also friendly. Anyone can quickly get hands-on with this application. With this application, we can save any note like pictures, pdf files, web pages, or hand-type notes in the app itself. With this feature, one can easily integrate all their documents in one place.
In the Windows version of the app, I have noticed that some bugs make the application unstable at times, especially when it comes to saving or syncing the notes created. But we can always use the Web version of the application rather than the Windows application. The software company should also provide better options for sharing the documents with other people who may not be using the app. I would also want some more editing tools for hand-typed notes and slides.
I have been extensively using the software for the past few years now. With this software, I can keep all your notes and never risk losing any vital work paper. As the software is being used by prominent no. of people in my organization, I find the sharing feature of notes handy. The to-Do feature of the application helps in planning my day right and also giving a kick start to my days. With this feature, I need not worry about missing or forgetting any critical work. I also like the Web Clipper tool of the app as it really comes in handy during research.
So far, this is the best notes making application that works on both computers and mobile. The UI is very friendly, and anyone can use it without any issues. There are different fonts with sizes, and the good thing is that users can use different colors on the text to highlight the important stuff. Also, we can add images to the notes. It is a good digital platform for saving important data, images, videos and webpage links.
If you want to use all its features, then you will have to spend lots of money. Making too many notes will take a lot of time in searching the specific notes.
I am using Evernote for writing new ideas to implement on the website, important statements while reading a book, making a good plan for the whole week so that it goes productive, making a timetable, and writing code snippets to the share with the teammates.
It is ideal for capturing notes, anywhere I am I can make my annotations, and it has helped me a lot to carry out my projects, in addition to the execution of each project, I can make annotations of the daily tasks carried out and save videos or image of what has been executed, which helps me for the history of each project.
It is an application with very good characteristics, and not everyone knows how to use and / or take advantage of all the advantages that Evernote offers, among its functions: edit, apply the face, apply image entries, texts. It would be ideal if they had a visual tutorial option, so that new users can familiarize themselves with all the functions and thus give it the use it deserves.
I love it because I can see the list of my notes in perfect coordination by dates and times, in a note I can create a list of things to do and put color on them, this software does not let me forget anything, besides that with my work teams we are running of project I can grant the permission so that they can see my notes directly through the notebooks and I can create as many notes as I want and thus I solve problems without having to be in the place. The best part is that I can do internet research directly from Web Clipper.
Evernote works across all of my desktop and mobile devices; it also provides simple-to-use sharing tools.
Occasionally will require a restart to get access to content (since their latest update).
Organizing details of a marketing or creative project; ability to share details with staff and clients, and easily track updates to the content.
Here are the things I liked about Evernote. 1. It has a unique and clean user interface. 2. It supports cross-platform, which makes it very useful to write notes on any device. 3. It offers scheduled cloud backup to save and protect important notes data. 4. Gives task reminders and easy to capture notes using its inbuilt scanner. 5. Multiple ways to save notes ( text, pdf, sketch).
Comparatively, It has less integration support with other tools.
Evernote gives me the power to write notes and access them from any place on any of my devices. It also gives me to-do task reminders. I'm also using this in meeting to save important points.
The total and absolute compatibility between PC and mobile version, this is one of the few programs that have the same functions in both versions.
From time to time, data can be lost, but a long time has passed since the last time
It's a life-safer app, you can manage all your data, share notes, attach multimedia, among other options.
Evernote is evolving into an all -purpose remembering system. Notes can be created from the scratchpad, or by emailing anything to your personal Evernote email address, and the Web Clipper enables you to capture anything useful from the internet. Notebooks keep everything organized, and searching allows you to look for content in your own notes, as well as in any content you have saved (including pdfs). If you are a researcher or a learner of any kind, you'll find Evernote useful.
This is improving, but Evernote has historically been weak at options for sharing notes with others. Printing and exporting often result in a lower quality of output than the original input. This is much better in recent versions.
I read widely, and Evernote gives me a way to store all relevant content for future reference. I especially like the way the Web Clipper can simplify a webpage to remove all the extraneous material and leave you with the core content (omitting ads, clickbait and other distractions). Now I don't have to print and file paper copies, or cut and paste content into documents and then wonder where they are on my hard drive. Evernote does all that for me, and I can go back to being creative: enter a thought or a query into the search bar, and immediately see all the relevant content I have collected. And it's all in the cloud, so I can access it on any device.
Don't ever forget a note, Evernote is an easy-to-use software that allows you to organize everything while offering lots of upload space per month. At first glance, Evernote might look simply just like notebooks with folder-like structures (which is very lovely), but it's much more potent than that. because of the flexibility and functionalities, it offers You can capture and keep detailed notes with text, images, web pages, PDF's and Office documents to any Notebook you created. It's beneficial when working solo on a project, working collaboratively, or just archiving for later use. It's possible to move your emails to your notebooks and keep everything on track with the sync across multiple device's capabilities. While doing this, you can add tags to your contents and then search PDFs, Office docs, and images based on those tags is very time-saving when you have a lot of things going on in your life. The browser extension is fantastic and straightforward to use when capturing web content. For those who need to put ideas on paper, the Evernote for IOS or Android let's record your thoughts and drawings from the camera. For those who like to keep notes and draw in a nice Notebook, there are even the Evernote Notebooks by Moleskine that carry tag stickers ( a way to add tags ) you can apply directly to your notes when capturing them with your device,
I would prefer if Evernote has more sub-levels of notepads. In some specific cases, that would be very beneficial. When using the browser extension, a little more flexibility in the Capture Formats would be nice. The browser extension could do a better job when it comes to storing pages or articles from websites.
It's allowing me to organize my ideas and projects. Making my to-do lists easy to access and reducing the need for paper or printing. Evernote makes my life easier.
Simple and easy to use interface makes the whole time management process lot more productive for me. I have been using it for Everyday and anyone who is using EvernoteI would highly recommend to go for premium version. Its much better and loaded with great features.
Nothing as such I really like it. In fact I bought the premium version and its even better.I think the mac app is a little laggy. Also a small suggestion it would be cool if there were more themes to choose for the app. Apart from these minor things I feel rest of the app is awesome!
Using it as unofficial mangement tool. Its really good for day to day time tracking. I use it daily to track my tasks and also as a reminder app. It helps in better time management of my day.
I like being able to sync quick notes pdfs and web clippings with additional functionality between all my devices
presentation mode is helpful but i would like more design options
keeping notes in one place to share with collaborators
I love that you can so easily organize all your notes into larger folders or "notebooks". Also, I love that you can customize your note fonts, easily insert bullets or lists, and even seamlessly add images right into your notes. I also think it's brilliant that you can sync your notes online so that you can access your notes on your computer and your phone. The software works well on both desktop and mobile device.
I dislike that you have to upgrade to Premium or Business in order to access some of the more personalized features and to collaborate with others. Google docs is a place that multiple users could collaborate in at the same time on one project. I think this feature is essential and shouldn't be limited to users who pay $12.50 a month.
It helps keep all my notes organized in one place. Notes are clean and dated with a last edited sticker. The actual user accessibility and functionality is all great. Perfect for taking notes for lengthy periods of time on ongoing projects or classes.
Evernote is the easiest way to organize your everyday life by taking quick notes and save all your valuable input data. i can access them anytime or from any device, because my notes are in the cloud platform. I can get quick notifications when my files are updated and all the notes can be organised by my preferances. Evernote has set up models to take notices or to create and to-do lists for everyday activities. The most important advantage of this application is that I can share my notes or file with others without worrying about data. It would be best if you tried adding different records and documents, including audio , video files, notes and images.
Premium doesn't really worth for me. Search filters are not sufficient to rapidly access information. In the Android program, the chat feature is very bad.
I usually use this to save my word documents, Take quick notes and other records of my work. This is one of my on the go to tool..
My day starts with a to-do list, and Evernote is a clean, free tool that does the job without any frills.
None for me. I used Premium for a while but the value prop wasn't relevant for me, so I moved to Basic again.
For real-time cross-functional task planning and statuses, Evernote works best for our small team. We can move between prioritizations and keep everyone updated, all the more in a remote working environment.
I really like tool, since it enables me to smoothly and efficiently arrange my tasks and work, helping me to control details effectively from various platforms or smartphones. I love being able to record suggestions among documents and journals in folder style. I have been able to search notes from previous years to reflect back at recycled old things. Evernote lets me maintain my information with one place and arrange them according to groups - and removes any excess of papers. You may also use EverNote's software to highlight and archive its most valuable aspects that you have published.
The ability to to part group of a document is missing for EverNote. Now, it is only a systemic concern which does not remove and interrupt the System's progress, often separate notes & comments cannot be tried to navigate. because Evernote has limited synchronization recently.
If it's conference or meeting minutes / comments or something, I put all the records in Evernotes which is extremely easy and we can discuss those notes later. I make different notebooks for each session in order to arrange it well. so I do not loss any valuable information's. Evernote allows us to take notice whenever we have got a smartphone on us , because when I'm at working or even at a on the road, I could access my notes.
As an old school engineer, I need to have whatever I want to check with a keybind without using the mouse and Evernote excels at it. I can easily open a new note or open any of my multiple favorites with only the keyboard and have that available as a reference when I'm using another program on the side, it justs works and has good keybinds for people like me that like to avoid the mouse unless it is really needed.
As a free user device limit is only 2, I don't really mind paying for a service or a program I like but the free version is at the state that it limits your usage in a way that doesn't encourage you to try to use the "premium" features and instead pushes you to other tools, even if you decide to upgrade later you will probably not use the features since you already had another solution.
When I'm using a terminal program, connected to a remote device and I need to check the specifics of something, having EverNote on the side with the info I need is just invaluable from a time saver perspective.
There are several things to start with and Evernote is one of the best ways to take notes. It is not only easy but also makes it look very good when you start using it. Evernote has everything to make use of starting with the newly launched editor to all the tools embedded in it. It is not complex to use but the more you use the more we glue to it. It has all the best fonts, embedding options, and making notes inside it makes life easier.
There are one or two things I dislike about Evernote is the ability to export the note into PDF or any other format has been disabled. We can save the files offline but the files can be opened in only Evernote or can be imported to OneNote or apple notes using external software which makes life a bit more difficult.
I used to take lecture notes on Evernote. It is easy to maintain all relatable files into a single notebook and arrange it in a simple and clean order. Used to embed Pdf notes and annotate within Evernote. It is easy to collaborate with peers and use it simultaneously. Used to make to-do lists and used it for daily reflections which set up the day.
It is a nice tool to complement my work tools and keep track of what I should be doing without a formal agenda if I have to set up a meeting or a reminder for other people I use email but if the reminder is for myself like "check the progress on project x" I use Evernote since I can easily set up reminders with just the information I need and add a checkmark if was completed before without the need for the reminder.
I don't like the tag system, after many notes, the tag recommendations stop being reliable, and I took too much time sorting it so I just stopped tagging and have not seen a big difference. But maybe it's my fault for not knowing how to use it.
Taking notes and setting up reminders
