The system enables you to build websites fast and of great quality and beats open source platforms like Wordpress or Joomla! for SMB websites.
The webshop platform integration is not incomplete and not great for SEO. Also there are quite some bugs that are not being fixed. SEO and URL redirection could be made easier managable.
Build websites faster and makes the content managable by end users.
Our business loves the simplicity of Duda's platform. We are able to crank out the design + development phase of our web builds much quicker than with WordPress. While WordPress has it's advantages, with Duda, we don't the headaches that comes with WordPress. By far the best decision we've made
We would love to see an online ordering (food) integration put in place sooner rather than later. Especially after the chaos of COVID-19 brought to the restaurant industry
Simply able to deliver a better mobile experience for our clients. We love the idea of growing the Progressive Web App side of development
The company focus is on the B2B "agency" - whether that represents a single person or a small to medium size agency. Their white label support materials are good, and the technology of their platform is good and constantly being innovated & improved. Most importantly, they provide active phone support for their clients.
Nothing that is a deal-breaker for me. Occasionally there can be some lag and quirkiness in the platform, but with a little persistence and patience you can almost always gain the desired result.
It has allowed me to both create small business websites for clients, but to also incorporate other support technology within these websites. This helps provide a more complete "business consultant" product for clients.
Ease of use, different stying than other CMS and speed and simplicity to launch new site.
Customer service is very slow to respond and often not with the best solution.
Quick and beautiful sites now since we switched from WP to Duda. Happier clients.
We really enjoy the amount of different templates that Duda offers. Lots of different categories and the editing couldn’t be simpler
If we could recommend one improvement it would be to have more templates added on a more regular basis.
We use Duda for basic informational websites. We have also used their platform to build e-commerce sites for our customers. It’s a lot easier than using word press and it’s a lot quicker.
The speed and ease of adding new images to a site.
The billing system for plans is not user friendly. (my opinion)
Website design for small businesses. Loading and editing images is a breeze which saves time. I enjoy the fact that I can edit mobile only versions and preview all devices at the same time.
Management of multiple sites, great customer support, constant improvements and updates being made to the platform.
Interface could be a little more intuitive, compared to more popular web building platforms, more automated notifications of site ssl certificates failing/going down
Our company provides websites as part of marketing efforts offered to our clients. This platforms allows us to manage multiple sites for hundreds of clients all in one place
Duda websites, compared to our other platform (WordPress) are bullet-proof. When we create a site with duda, and hit publish, that's it, the site works and has no problems in the future. We especially like the way we can share backend access with the clients and they can comment and review design choices in the builder and recieve feedback from us on specific topics. There's a great selection of pre-built sections to help flesh out websites quickly, and being able to globally set colours and fonts is a real time saver. At points where clients have asked for features not available, I've dabbled with the widget builder and created completely new elements which is great as well. Really happy with the service.
There's only a few niggles, for me, one is how responsive design is handled. Desktop and Tablet share the same rules, and mobile is almost like a separate site. This can make it challenging to get consistent designs sometimes. Also, the ablility to include custom code is good, but could be better. The documentation is great for someone who knows nothing about building websites, but when it comes to real developers, the documentation gets a little thin. The Widget builder feature seems really useful, but at the same time, theres only limited resources on how to get the most out of it. I guess developers are kind of outside the target audience for Duda, but it would be nice to have more example projects for more advanced features in the documentation.
Duda sites are quick to build and really resilient once published. The library of pre-built sections helps flesh out pages really quickly.
We were working to develop our own CMS. We're pretty glad we didn't. Duda is SO much better than anyting we could have build, and they maintain it a lot faster than our small team can move. We made a great choice.
Flex templates have a way to go, but it's getting there. I really wish we could run email marketing via Duda, and/or have hosted Duda signup pages within our own Duda site vs building something with the API. Also would love AB testing added to the personalization section.
It's allowing us to stop fussing with Wordpress hacks. Every Wordpress site is getting hacked 3 times a year these days - it's exhausting.
Duda is super easy to use. You can update web pages on the fly and it looks great. I run multiple sites on Duda and the interface feels very user friendly. I would recommend this to others.
I wish there were better options for working within a team (i.e. restrict pages, etc.)
It allows me to not have to code anything or use an outside agency. I can do it all myself.
flexible, state-of-the-art tool for websites
sometimes not very intuitive in some functions
user questions/issues are handled very speedy
Duda is more straightforward to master than WordPress. The templates are above average when compared to sites like SquareSpace. The loading speed is optimal as well.
The price. It is expensive compared to the closest competitors. Plus, things that you would think are standard are not. They cost extra, such as decent forms and e-commerce options.
Professional-looking site without requiring a web designer.
They have great customer service and very responsive when needed.
Overall it's as positive, but because they are always updating, sometimes you can run into temporary errors.
They are always improving errors and/or issues that we run into.
The availability to personalise your site.
It does have problems with some widgets on older versions of iPhone.
The new feature of folders in the CMS is great.
- Stellar Client support - Easy-to-use platform - Great API - Lots of available widgets - Quality plugins offered through their app store built for Duda. - Dynamic Pages - Way more intuitive than competitors like WordPress and Wix
- the platform does have a learning curve - widgets can sometimes be limited in their functionality - the platform can be sluggish at times. - it's very easy not to have your work saved if you have multiple people working on a site - or if your internet hiccups
Duda comes in clutch with the ability to create A LOT of pages very fast, especially if you bring these in via Google Sheets. A few of our clients have been able to pump loads of content that go onto dynamically generated pages that look great - while there is a bit of learning to do with this feature - it's a POWERFUL tool that we have seen so much use out of.
The support is fast; the CMS is user-friendly. The SEO capability is good and better than Wix and Squarespace. I prefer the CMS to other platforms such as Wix, Shopify & Squarespace. It is better than competitors' offerings. I like the existing store, the payment options are broad, which suits people, and overall, the plug-ins are good.
There is nothing, particularly, I don't like aside from below - these things are fairly minor and bearing in mind nothing out there is perfect; You need to be able to code or have experience at working around issues (or have a developer) to code a bit to get around basic bugs which may not be fixed on the platform and apparently not replicated by Duda even when they show up on different machines. This would not be a problem for a small to medium size agency. Sometimes bugs are fixed to be fair - but often they are not. The cost in my country for a small business is not ideal because of the exchange rate, but that means that I am offering the best I can to clients; financially, due to the size of my business, it is a little difficult, however, if you are in the US or elsewhere or a reasonably sized business it is worthwhile. I prefer the existing store which is great, compared to the new 'native store' so I hope that the current store will not be made redundant - that would not be good. In time I hope the native store will be better.
Fast web set up, this is great for a small business.
Duda is modern and easy to handle. You can add text oder images very quick and the condition of the platform is intuitive. To bring a website live is also easy and fast.
You can not see on which page you use an image oder document, so you can unintentionally delete this or you must search a long time to find this image oder document.
We earn money to built websites for small and middle companies. So we help our customers to offer there products and make theme more exposed online in their city.
All kind of possible widgets and the possibility to create own widgets
More overall management insight over all active sites
Managing hundreds of websites for our customers
Duda is extremely easy to use. From concept to execution, I can create a site within a day, a page within minutes, and implement website essentials such as basic SEO metadata and a site SSL.
Duda's version control could use some major improvement. For example, I really wish I could archive/unpublish a page for implementation on the later version of the site, without having to restore the entire version of a backup. Ideally, there should be a section to create page drafts, and by unpublishing a page, it gets moved to drafts.
Duda's client management is exceptional compared to other website platforms. I can easily toggle permissions for clients and resend invitations through the dashboard. Duda also removes a technical step by allowing the SSL to be generated directly within the platform.
Duda is very user friendly and 'dummy' proof. Very easy to learn highly recommend to beginners and intermediate designers
Duda as some limitations and we have to code and customize often to make customers happy. I would like to have more templates to show to our clients as well
Time efficient. We can great professional looking websites in the timely matters
