"Impressive features"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

Security features embedded in this product and how secure my files are are the main reasons why I like this product. Besides the use of unique passwords for accessing the files link this product allows me to set expiration dates on the links that I would have shared with others This is very helpful because I know that I end up being the only one having access to my files after the expiration date. I also find the software helpful because it saves a lot of space on my computer hard drive by automatically making big sized files available only when I get online which means those files can never take up storage space in the computer. It offers a big storage space that gives me a guarantee of storing everything without even running out of space.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

I like the features of this product so much but one downside is that whenever I do not have an internet connection that means I cannot have access to my files that have been automatically made available online only.

What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?

Control over already shared files has been one of my main concerns since I have for a long time wanted a way to make sure no unauthorized user has access to my files and also lately my problem was that if I shared a link with someone a third unauthorized person would end up using my link and sharing that link as well. Dropbox has managed to solve this problem by allowing me set expiring dates on links and also it allows me to see if the shared file is being viewed and when it was last opened.

"Review for dropbox"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

Dropbox has a 2 GB free option available, which isn't enough these days, so here comes a professional option where you can buy space as per your requirement up to 3000 GB. Moreover, the uploaded data is shareable and can be accessed anytime & anywhere.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

It is costly, and syncing with Mac OS is poor.

What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is easy to use, and uploaded files can be accessed remotely from anywhere. Data encryption helps to keep your data secure. Even the large files can be shared with anyone from a distance.

"Dropbox makes it easy to share files and have them available to you on multiple devices"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

I like that it syncs files continuously. I can work on a file on one computer, and dropbox will update them on all of my devices.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

Some files are not very compatible with the platform. This issue makes it so I have to download and upload the new version each time I work on it. The space can also be limited if you have big files. More space is avalible if paid for.

What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?

I can now have all files available to me no matter where I am or what device I am working on. I don't have to worry about my data being up to date or sending an old file.

"Practical, simple but powerful tool for sharing and saving documents."
What do you like best about Dropbox?

It is simply practical and safe to share information. With the enterprise license you have the option to transfer up to 100GB, it was ideal for installing applications in new locations of the organization and support users at home while working at home.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

Integration with active directory for user account management was not what was expected. But in the end we adapted to Dropbox's way of working and it was excellent.

What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?

Backup of information on laptops of personnel working outside the office. Effectively we were able to share a lot of information with clients without the need to define workspaces in the document aerial.

"Solid cloud storage solution"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

The synchronization for the desktop app is almost entirely seamless. I never have to worry about whether or not things are getting uploaded or downloaded. Sharing files is so much easier than through Adobe, iCloud, or OneDrive, literally just one click.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

Not much to dislike, only two things. One, you cannot change the names of computers backed up to Dropbox. I have 1 Mac and 3 PCs, and I can't easily tell the difference because Dropbox names them PC (1), PC (2), and PC (3). Secondly, backing up to Dropbox on a Mac removes the unique sidebar icons of folders like Desktop or Downloads. This is a bit nit-picky, but those icons are helpful to quickly identify folders, and they remain intact on the Windows version.

What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dropbox saves space on my computer, allows me to synchronize files between my many computers, and keeps my important files in an additional backup.

"Very Helpful"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

High marks for Dropbox Professional offering a free tier, although 2GB of cloud storage space isn't much. However, you can certainly try out the service for free forever, which is something a lot of rivals won't allow. This can even be expanded somewhat through referrals of other people to Dropbox, with the understanding that you'll miss out on some of the more advanced features offered by the service, such as offline folder access when mobile. The pricing plan for an individual is $19.99/£14.09 a month for 3TB of space- you can save a bit if you pay annually. There is also a 5TB of space for three users for $45/£31.72. For even more complex needs there is the Advanced plan with unlimited storage, tiered admin roles, and granular sharing permissions.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

Dropbox Professional isn't dislike able. Dropbox Professional is at the top at what it does. While it lacks the online office suite capabilities of Google Drive, and the tight iOS and macOS integration of iCloud, it excels when you need to sync files and folders between devices running different operating systems. In short, Dropbox Professional is just about the best in the business – and has been for a while, which is why OneDrive and iCloud have been playing catch up for too long.

What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?

With Dropbox installed on Windows or macOS, everything is then put into your designated Dropbox folder to get synced with the cloud. While this function is common currently as Windows and macOS can do this natively now after following Dropbox's lead, but realize that Dropbox was one of the initial apps to enable this. Despite new competitors, it remains one of the best in the business. A limitation of DropBox is that you can't include network drives or external drives in your Dropbox. However, you can certainly select which files and folders are synced to which device, choosing to keep files only in the cloud which saves space on your hard drive. The mobile apps are top notch as well, which can back up photos and videos taken with your phone as needed.
