A simple yet very integrated app, that allows you to navigate through the app quickly.
The homepage can be made better. It can be integrated with email as well.
Sometimes, it keeps logging you out, even though you just logged in. This causes inconvenience.

It's easy to use. Employees like the simplicity of the interface. It comes with nice features and it's really useful, especially for small and medium companies.
Just as a personal preference, some activities are not as customizable and it lacks granularity for some processes. BTW, it's not good for the hiring process, for that you should try a different solution.
We're managing many of our Human Resources processes in it such as performance review, vacations and permits approvals, goal settings and KPI follow up, etc. We also use it as the source of truth for other services.
I am using BambooHR for PTO tracking and Payroll. Their customer service is wonderful - very quick and great at answering questions.
I have not been able to get my PTO tracking perfect; however, that may be my error, not theirs.
We did not have a PTO tracking system prior, so we are solving that with BambooHR.
For the price we pay, I think the software serves the function we need.
I wish there was a way to allow time off to accumulate differently. For example, 1 day of time off is added each month instead of giving 12 days of time off on the employee's anniversary.

Love Love Love so many things about BambooHR. Onboarding / Offboarding checklists and templates are a dream. Document management including e-signatures is awesome. Hiring and sending hiring documents for e-signature rocks. Listing job openings and tracking hiring are awesome. Systems are easy to use and documentation/training is amazing if you need to learn how to do something. Customer service rocks. Pages are highly customizable and fields can be added.
We are using the employee satisfaction feature. Would like to be able to ask our own questions in addition to the questions the system asks the employees.

I like how the buttons are clear and concise. The graphic designs are also descriptive. There aren't too many things to click on, which makes the whole experiene more smooth and less cluttered.
When trying to request Time Off, Time Off benefits are not shown on the same page. It is a hassle to find our company benefits in another place such as an internal knowledge base.
It gives companies an easy way to manage employees who track their hours or request time off. It allows managers to have a system where it is easy to approve requests.
The User Interface is amazing which makes it easier for everyone to use it. It helps us to track all our leaves as well as Pay Information. The Year-end goal setting is quite easy in this tool and also it gives notifications for any birthdays or anniversaries of team members.
The Integration with other platforms is not very flexible. The reports generated through it need some improvement. The mobile version is not up to the mark as per the market standards.
Bamboo HR is a seamless system that provides all employee-related information in one place. There is no need for employees to chase HR for any of the HR-related documents as everything is present in the portal.

It's intuitive, easy to use, and our one stop shop for everything HR. We have onboarded hundreds of employees with Bamboo through the integration with Greenhouse.
The user interface is pretty basic but I actually think that's necessary for a product like this so that employees don't get overwhelmed.
The integration with Greenhouse is super useful so when someone accepts an offer we can easily add them to Bamboo and get them set up for their first day, it saves us lots of manual data input.

To be honest, nothing. There are always features you wish technology had, but this gets the job done for what we need.
Having the PTO, Goals, and onboarding documents all in one place make it simple to help team members.
I like I'm able to manage my vacation time or any needed time-off from the site and that I'm also able to calculate the accrued time in the future using the calendar.
I don't like you are lacking some of the features on the mobile application. For example, you are not able to see the organigram of the company from it. Other than that, the app is also great.
I can manage my goals ans the goals of my reports from the platform. Also, I hace the ability of asking teammates for assessment for your reports. It's a safe way to get i dividual assessment from your peers.

It is quite easy to use and navigate BambooHR. When training employees, or fellow admins, they tend to grasp it easily.
Since it is a new'er' platform, there are sometimes things within it that are not yet developed. Being a part of the development process is great though!

Bamboo HR has been an excellent platform to add to our company. Our employees span a tremendous amount of disciplines from manufacturing, engineering, sales, supply chain, finance, welding, painting, etc... Many HRIS systems I looked at would have been great for one or a couple of those disciplines but Bamboo HR has allowed my team to implement this across all departments and utilize the Performance Review, Payroll, Hiring Portal, Medical Records, eNPS and other benefits so all departments are in sync. I would highly recommend Bamboo HR. Are they perfect, no, but they have great customer support and work on customizing the platform to fit your unique needs. Even if they hadn't given me a gift certificate to write a review, I would have still given Bamboo HR the thumbs up!
The inability to have varying performance review check-ins. As an example, I want my leaders to have 30 day, 90 day formal sit downs with new employees to make sure everyone is on the same page. I would like this to feed into the Performance Management module, but unfortunately I can only set the Performance Management module up for all parties on a 6 or 12 month interval. Now I have to look for a separate system to provide my team with the proper structure. Also a texting app connection would be great for the Hiring portal. There is clearly an email client and the ability to call. But with so many candidates now communicating via text, I would like a way for my team to quickly and easily capture texts that aren't sent on someone's personal or even business cell phone.
See above. We were solely paper based before, so moving to an electronic version was monumental in allowing my HR team access to information at a moment's notice. Also the PTO time off requests are extremely simple and easy to manage.
