Wavemaker is best in class for rapid application development and it is easily extend or customizable to build enterprice grade multi device apps.

They do provide support. Support is from India and thus there is some difficulty being able to understand them, but they do make sure to solve the many, many, many issues there are with this product, once you come across them.... I recognize that there are not as many problems as you might expect, but when there are problems, OH WOW are there problems....

Wavemaker seeks to be Visual Studio for the web, which we absolutely do not need WHATSOEVER. It forces you into using their platform for 100% all development. Web folks, all you need is a framework and MVC. That is absolutely it. I am 150% upset that the company I work for was so incredibly short sighted to use this product. To be entirely honest, developers trying to use Wavemaker have an extremely steep learning curve, the written how to material is incredibly poor, and it would take a lot less development time if you did not use this product. Further, if you do not use this, you do not have to worry about future maintainability. Furthermore, you will be pushed behind tech wise if you use this.

It is just a RAD for the web...............

The way to use all of the languages at one place with ease. It has helped me lift my career from a Manual QA to SDET. I was unsure where to start and took a course where wavemaker was suggested for IDE and I'm glad that I did. I started from small-time code to building full-fledged applications using wavemaker.

I haven't come across any such vulnerability or trait of this IDE to write. It's just that I was trying to add python library into it but found it difficult to find the way to do so on my own, had to take help from a youtube video. So I can say that maybe tips , tricks and in-app tutorials may help to people like me.

Wavemaker is helping anyone who wants to learn coding or app development or Automation for that case by providing easy interface and in-app features like drag drop to build application using less coding. One way I used it was to initially create an app using drag drop and then learn how it was made by studying the code. So I used it to give my career a new flight and I think if I can , then anyone can.

Best thing is that its easy to use and its nicely optimised.Its easily available to everyone and is trustworthy

Noticed some minor bug issues , but i hope it will be resolved in comming days.

There is not much to dislike - the support is on target and responsive

Integration with backend RESTful and databases is what we are looking for. We don't need anymore software installation at customer site. In two months we have completed and delivered custom development projects for our customers. With visual studio we could not have such a speed. The ability to export the webapp in WAR format, allows those who have already an internal J2EE infrastructure, to start immediately with the developed webapp in minutes. Integration with comoon IDE tools like Intellij is awsome. The support team is quick on help us in every day.

I do not dislike Wvameker in any part. Sometimes documentation is not updated, but as a usual user, I contributed to it on Github.

My small company did not develope custom software because the webapp were difficult and long. Now we can bring quick results, with responsive webapp, developed for on all devices and intergrated with the rest and sql database....bees ....

All things are good for WaveMaker beacuse of an Enterprise-grade low code solution for the JAVA ...

As I am not into development, I had some issues with connecting with mysql. The benefits is it will load applications faster compare to others

The autogeneration of code and ability to access backend code lines makes this low-code builder awesome. Being able to access code on the front end navigation as well as back end is superb

I'd like to be able to start with a bootstrap 4 theme template. A simple upload theme tool using existing Bootstrap themes would be awesome.

We are working on a beta version of our app and have the skills to accomplish this in a low-code environment saving us $100k+ in development costs

I was able to validate a business ideas, and build something my development team could pickup after me and continue. I also learnt plenty of nuances and the way i could do more, than what i had envisioned. I am confident this tool has put me ahead by a few months. I think, it has everything to get you started, continue making you successful and help you scale when you need to.

I like the ease of integration of cloud & deployment of application. The response time of customer service and flexibility of the tools. they are simple and solve common day to day application development requirements.

Need additional templates and sample applications. this makes it easy and quick to get started with components with no need to read documentation.

I build alot of backend machine learning algorithms. I use wavemaker to quickly integrate with my APIs on the cloud and share with clients. I also use wavemaker for quick visualizations and data driven frontends. I have tried the mobile build and looks fantastic. In total, wavemaker has saved me about 60% of design and coding of frontend applications.

i found some issues when i export the components , but it maybe the issues from my machine or my internet connection

Its IDE uses web application, it will be much better if WaveMaker have Desktop IDE.

Development of many Web Applications

- Drag and drop UI with fully customizable HTML, CSS and JS code - Web based application so I can access on any devices including tablet - Modern technology stack using Spring for backend and Angular for frontend - I can deploy outside of Wavemaker and even build the code on my own in CI/CD pipeline

- For WM Online (not enterprise), the update taking place during office hour in my timezone. It's 60 to 90 minutes off during the update and the notification is few days before

- greatly reduce number of developer per project - speed up delivery by focusing on business requirements

Its an amazing low code software creator for mobile and web. I love how it allows me to create clean and well-aligned UI/ UX within minutes. I dont have to worry about event handling as well. Love that!!

It has some limitations, the first one is that I have to do the styling separately and that can be time-consuming. Secondly, the website hangs sometimes while i am in the middle of working.

Its a low code solution which is very helpful for new developers and developers with less experience. Despite having multiple years of development experience i sometimes prefer to develop in WaveMaker as it takes cares of alot of things for me making the development process quick and effcient.

Design Once and Use it across Platforms , with a very less code we can built an application which can work not only cross Devices but cross platforms as well . Easy to Use , Sinlge Code Block Can be Used, Integration and Extensibility

We had .net code . There was less time and need to convert it to java. This is where it helped a lot instead of writing from scratch
