When it comes to managing our company's most important asset - our employees - we discovered that using Personio to streamline processes can be an absolute breakthrough. For example, tracking employee absences and time spent at work (or not) increased productivity in all areas. In addition, the ability to quickly and easily find new employees using recruitment management tools has saved us valuable time and energy.
The reports section could be enhanced on the staffing side Edge cases for user rights management should be improved.
Personio makes HR management easier in many ways. Payroll accounting is now done in half the time, and we can use the time saved for other important tasks. The software offers many more options and tools than you can imagine. New features are being discovered every day.
Personio is an excellent software that provides many useful features for businesses. With Personio, businesses can view all of their employees with the same information. They can also upload documents. Personio is available to other colleagues with restricted access. The section for recruiting gives businesses a clear overview of all their job advertisements, all incoming applications, and the applicants. Personio provides excellent support for administrators and includes many videos and documents that can be used to explain the software.
The interface is not as user-friendly as it could be, and adding and managing employees can be confusing and time-consuming.
Now that we don't have to spend as much time on Excel lists, we can focus on other subjects more. This is important because all the information is always current and available to everyone anywhere at any time.
Things just got a lot easier for both admins and employees with Personio's user-friendly interface. With quick and easy login and digitized documents that are now all conveniently located in one place, things are running much smoother. The e-signatures are a fantastic touch that speeds up the whole process. And the best part is that HR can now customize employee information to better suit the needs of the company. Personio's reports are also top-notch, making it simple to download both standard and individualized reports.
There's a learning curve when you're first getting started with any new software. That's to be expected when there are so many features to figure out.

I love how Personio is constantly expanding its functionality to meet the needs of our growing business. The software is user-friendly and has allowed us to streamline many of our HR processes. I also appreciate the high level of customer service we receive from the Personio team - they are always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we have.
There is no one specific thing that I dislike about Personio. Rather, there are a few smaller things that could be improved. For example, I would like to see more detailed reports and better filtering options in the analytics tool. Additionally, it would be helpful if the user interface were slightly more intuitive and easier to navigate.
The benefits to using Personio include having all employee information in one place, being able to automate repetitive tasks such as onboarding new hires or calculating vacation days, and generating reports on attendance or performance.
Regular improvements ensure a better user experience. There is also a forum for posting change requests, which is very helpful. A lot of omprovements happen in the last year.
Sometimes Personio has problems with the servers. Since a lot is attached to it, such as employee files and applicant profiles, it can be annoying.
Personio's customer service is super nice and helpful. They are also always available for technical questions. This makes everything a lot easier.

Streamlining of HR processes, GDPR compliance, centralisation of people operations.
Used Personio to create simple career pages and add the requirements directly to the page. Since we had a lot of volume for applicants it became very easy to track them through the dashboard.
It takes a lot of time to set up and without the help of external managers or implementation engineer its not easy to get started. Also, the integrations with some of the other tools were missing.
The current applicant tracking system was slow and with the help of Personio we could easily track them. Earlier we used more than one tool for our HR processes but then with Personio all the tasks were in one place.
The interface is really simple to use and the HR team could get started working with it easily. It saves us time in terms of reporting, having vacation overview, documentation and especially the self-services offered.
I would have preferred to have a holistic feedback/performance module with 360 degree reviews but we chose instead Leapsome for this as Personio has an integration with them
Time saved in Reporting, managing vacation and having recruitment modules with templates saves us a bunch of time and helps us focus on strategy and culture.
From all the tools that I have used and implemented in the past, with Personio I had by far the most support throughout the implementation. I love that you can assign different work schedules to different employees, which makes it so much easier to calculate vacation days correctly for everyone. I also love that all general settings are best practice settings which was perfect to get started right away.
Personio does require a time investment. It's a tool covering many different aspects and you need to invest time to learn to how to properly adjust those. It took us about 6 weeks to migrate from sage.hr BUT, once you get it, it's easy. One thing that I dislike the calendar integration doesn't show the event type but just says "busy". It would also immensely benefit us if we could have all employee vacations synced to one calendar.
We are solving a bunch of problems like vacation day calculation for employees switching their hours or automatic on- and offboarding. We have yet to look into things like performance management but this is something of great benefit.

I like that the experience has been so familiar for me, just because I also work in a Tech company so we have the same cycle of the customer. The attention of the onboarding team especially the onboarding and training with Paloma Sánchez Lucas, but also the first contacts and the hole negotiation with Manuel López (from the Business Development Team). I also like the product itself, mainly the parsing of resumees, I think that is the most helpful about Personio and the Use Experience in general.
Some requirements we have needed are not possible to develop from Personio (for example to have notifications in the webpage, not only by email, just to ensure you do not have messages without an answer), and I would like to have more training calls between the onboarding team and all the hiring managers of my company just to ensure a good comprehension of the product.
At this moment we are not solving anything, but all the problems I had they've tried to solve in a fastly way. Also, the recommendations I have made (for example the change from "Send" to "Save" in Spanish) have been taken into account even if I have not use the form to add them. I have realized the benefits of the parsing, the digital signing, and all the connections with different job portals such as Infojobs, Linkedin, Infoempleo, etc

Especially these features are fantastic: the ATS, the administration of each employee (e.g. personal data overview, digital file), absence calendar and the new e-signatures.
the org-chart could (should;) be better and a salary planning tool is still missing
We save a lot of time due to the fact that we harmonized our data landscape (we used many different tools for our hr data administration)
That all employees easily can request absence and the process is automatically followed up by the tool. The absence will then show in the calendar without showing delicate information, which we really like. The app makes it so easy and everything is very user-friendly.
Parts of the implementation was very tedious and manual. The tool itself is lacking some features that I understood will be launched in the close future (Like approval from the app). We also would like to see some more options for reporting in the future.
We had some issues with who to ask and communicate the absence to. With Personio this problem is gone. The settings in the tool make it possible for the employees to only request absence without thinking about who is on the other side. The right people will get the request and approve/deny it, and that is a relief for the company to know that the requests are processed at the right place at all times. After the absence is approved, all employees can easily see who is not in the office, and who is working from home from the Calendar. It will also show in the app, so it is easy to check in the morning who is gone.

Creating specific reports is wonderfully refreshing and simple. Managers now have a clear overview of their team's leave. We can also track WFH.
Personio has a great user interface for the administrators and for all our employees - it is fun to log in and work with personio. Furthermore we were able to digitize all the documents of our employees, make them transparent (on the right place) and accessible for our employees and the management and have all documents in one place instead of different locations. The option of E-signatures is a really good extension and speeds up the signing process immensely. Addionally employee information can be customized what makes the HR work much easier. The reports you are able to download with Personio are very good (even the standard and not individual reports). Furthermore the approval processes are easy to implement and our on- and off-boarding processes can be easily mapped.
A few things can still be changed even if Personio is already great: Sections and attributes that are not filled for one employee should not be shown (causes confusion and looks incomplete). Furthermore it is not possible to adjust the column width in the employee view. It is not possible to share customized reports with employees who don't have access to everything (e.g. salaries). The fields that are displayed in the search bar for the employees should be individually adaptable (it is always position and department).
We have now faster, better and more transparent HR processes due to digital signatures, digital employee documents and much more...
The easy and guided installation and handover with all the important knowledge. The program is really easy to understand and can theoretically be "installed" and run by anyone with a little understanding of programs.
Sometimes many settings can only be made individually. Here a multiple selection would be great. This would make the installation even easier and sometimes this problem is already solved by uploading Excel lists and thus being able to make several settings at once.
Most important to us is the vacation overview and the collection of documents and thus the personnel overview. So we have a nice, simple and secure overview of all important information and can easily adjust vacations etc., confirm etc.
It is a scalable tool and it makes HR department to work better
