Really cheap domain names, with a very wide array of TLDs to choose from. Very helpful support, prompt and provides real value. Very transparent pricing system, auto renew is off by default. Free Whois and SSL
It's a bit hard to navigate through the site. Allocated resource for hosting is a little too small.
Hosting websites Registering domain names Setting ups web apps
Namecheap is an extremely and competent internet hosting, the customer service executives are offering their utmost expert services to the consumers. In fact, assistance is common among the best part of NameCheap. Regarding their safety measures, they're very trustworthy and due to I use NameCheap. Also, additionally they provide free of charge distributed DNS to your domain names, this means you don't need to control name servers to your domain names. Let them get it done.
I really don't have a lot of to say of the issues of NameCheap, because my encounters along with it are actually usually good enough, even so, customer support by telephone may not be effective. You don't have a lot of options when selecting the website name due to the fact most of the possibilities are already been utilized.
With Namecheap, we are able to take care of our websites in a very more streamlined way. The price is affordable as compared with other web hosting service companies. The very best advantage I managed to get with this particular web hosting is usually that I bought unlimited SSL for each and every domain name hosted along with them within a shared web hosting deal.
Transparent pricing system Very fast hosting servers Over zealous customer service, you can count on them to fix anything wrong with your hosting at record time.
A bit difficult to navigate expecially for first time users, features are hidden, like it really hard to locate where the DNS editor is located
Host my website and register domains Free SSL certificate for every domain.
I just love the support, they are the best I've seen so far in my IT career. They go out of the way to help you fix your website code, when you only bought a $0.89 domain from them. The live support responds in less than a minute. Best place to buy domains without hidden fees or exorbitant renewal prices.
I get locked out of my account sometimes for no reason. Though support fixes this through live support. But it's annoying.
Best domain registrar Best hosting service providers so Free SSL and WHOIS protection
Don't let their name fool you into thinking they're just a discount domain shop. Yes, their pricing is excellent, but this is an excellent company offering excellent services. But beyond pricing, the dashboard for domain management is elegant and simple to use. I can log in and renew domains in just a few minutes --the renewal process is fast and easy. They revamped the user interface a few years ago, and it has been a joy to use ever since. It's a better interface than other ones I've used, namely GoDaddy, Network Solutions, and eNom. Also, they also offer free distributed DNS for your domains, which means you don't have to manage name servers for your domains. Just let them do it.
I have many domains that I manage, and it's annoying when I sign in that in order to see all my domains, every time, I have to click the "View all domains" button. Also, when you set up redirects, it's not easily understood what kind of redirect you're setting up by default: 301 vs 302. I'm still not sure. I think the default is 302 Temporary. It appears you have to explicitly choose 301 on the "Advanced DNS" tab.
We initially saved a lot of money migrating our domains from Network Solutions. I also like that Namecheap offers early-access to some TLDs before public launch. Many registrars don't offer that.
Namecheap sells the domain at a very cheap rate compared to other services. The flat rate is not just on some of these domains, but you can see that they are offering huge discounts on a wide range of domains. The support is outstanding, I mean their live chat is online all the times, and they always help you out, this is one of the prime reason why I chose Namecheap. They have really little spam messages and still sent out domain updates. The security options are excellent, and you can even add a two factor authentication in case you need extra protection. when making a purchase on Namecheap you can choose from a lot of payment options including cards and PayPal, one of the options I found very convenient to use is the ability to pay your bills with bitcoins which become a trend last year, and I was able to pay the bills on time when there was a problem with my card.
Nothing much here, I would really appreciate it if they can offer some discount on TLDs like .com and .net.
Namecheap provides domain registration services, they offer a wide range of TLDs to choose from including the latest gTLDs
I really enjoy that I could get a website domain and hosting account for under $20! Other hosts have 1 year terms but expect to pay at least $60 for the year
It is not user-friendly at all. Luckily I am an IT professional and trudged my way through setting up. It would be really difficult for a beginner, and they should expect to talk many times to customer service for help.
Getting a self-hosted website for one year at an inexpensive rate.
The Domain Registration in Namecheap is cheap like dirt cheap. I changed to Namecheap mainly because of this only. they also offer a wide verity of Tld including the modern tlds. i once got a Domain Registered with them for just over 50 cents. another great thing about Namecheap is their Support, its just of Top Quality. they reply Quickly to your Queries. they also offer Bitcoin payments which are helpful as far as I'm concerned. The interface is Really great and easy to navigate around the site. another great thing about Namecheap is How they Install Wordpress on your server without any 3rd party additional plugins which can be annoying. also, they provide you with one-year Free Domain Privacy.
The Hosting is not up to the mark. it's great if you're Hosting small websites with minimum traffic. when you Scale up to more than 4-5 sites things get Complicated. the Memory Cap Provided by them is very low and can cause troubles especially if you're using too much PHP on your Website.
Domain Registration
Simple and clean user interface. The name is fitting due the great pricing options.
It's simple to use but aren't a ton of extra bells and whistles. Getting money's worth though.
I have purchased a couple different URL's for my music business. Easy set up which is much appreciated.
The process of obtaining a domain and hosting a site is straightforward and streamlines for quick and easy processing.
I wish the renewal processes was a little more clear when you not only have a domain, but are hosting as well. It seemed easy to get the two mixed up. Each expires at a different time.
As an organization Namecheap has allowed us to effectively host our sight without issue and at a reasonable cost. It has allowed us to get more pertinent information out to the people who need quick access.
As far as domain registrars go, namecheap has one of the best interfaces out there. The switchover from the old design to the new was a bit odd, but most of the site now look modern and sleek. The prices and TLD options are competitive with every other registrar that I've looked into. In the end, this is probably the most important point. A minor thing that does end up being quite nice is that I've found that changes to DNS records propagate quickly through namecheap -- not sure if that's just confirmation bias or a real effect, but when I've noticed it, it's been a pleasant surprise.
While namecheap's interface is nice compared to other registrars out there, it's not without its rough edges. When you compare it to a site like DigitalOcean, there are clearly user experience issues. A lot of things are more complicated than they need to be; this is partly due to the oddities of DNS records and the like, but there are clear ways it could be improved. The only other downside is that not all TLDs are available, especially international ones. It would be nice to keep all my domains with a single registrar.
We use namecheap to manage our domains. The costs are on par or cheaper than other options, and I find namecheap's interface easier to navigate than other registrars.
Namecheap provides one of the best values available for domain name registration. The web interface is easy to use. Additionally, they provide good online help and documentation for typical services that they provide. The SSL certificates are also competitively priced.
It is not possible to use their DNS service for a top-level apex domain with a PAAS such as Heroku. This is due to the fact that the domain name must map to a fixed IP address.
Domain name registration. SSL certificate purchase.
Namecheap offers a great search interface, which let's you survey the different domains you can buy based on a text search, including all the new TLDs like .club and .xyz. It's also fun to use it, with little gems like offering a .space domain as an "outer space deal!". Namecheap offers better prices than the competition in some TLDs: I just checked and it's a dollar cheaper per year on a .com versus Godaddy (although the later gives you a first year discount). Their management interface is clear and easy to use, and they have an extensive knowledge base, where you can find solutions to all your domain needs: DNS, hosting, emailing, etc. Finally, they remind you to renew your domains via email with plenty of time, and in a concise manner. This way you won't find yourself with an expired domain in your hands!
During the domain buying process, they offer you services for free, like WhoisGuard or SSL. However, after the first year is over, you have to remember to deactivate them, so that your bill does not go up. I'm not aware of their availability numbers in general, but once I had to make a change on their dashboard, and it was on maintenance for several hours. This could surely be improved, downtimes are a no-go for me. The dashboard used to feel outdated and complex, but they've recently updated it and it's pretty slick and nice nowadays.

Customer support is outstanding. Even when the web UI failed on us, they were very honest and told me it was a bug and offered a prompt solution. We also had to deal with EV SSL verification through the CA and they were very helpful in setting up communication between us and helping solving a issue with a CSR wrongly generated.
Even with such a good customer support, I think the web UI needs some improvements. When buying EV SSL certificates for example, since they require validation through the CA that issues them, for the whole period in between buying and having the certificate you cannot see your order in your account area. Also some tools around certificate generation would be useful.

Getting the domain at a very nominal cost was super helpful. The interface is easy to go through and complete the process. No complications with respect to cost, upsell and process.
Some domains are not available like .ai Apart from that we did not dislike anything.
Getting different and alternative domains for our US prospecting via Emails.
The Support system is top notch, very efficient and prompt. The servers are fast and with lots of helpful features, emails reach inbox, indicating clean mail servers and there are extra layer of security and spam protection for your website. Free SSL and WHOIS for each domain show your security is important to the company.
Auto renew is on by default and your card is stored on the site. Not too good for security reasons.

Register cheap domains. Protect my website and privacy. Build websites and reach my audience. Host website and other web apps
Very efficient and fast servers with a very great uptime. Free SSL on all websites. Very helpful support system, they go out of the way to ensure your site is fine.
Resource allocation is too limited - I would have loved more addon domains and bigger disk space.
I host my websites on namecheap hosting. Get free SSL coverage. Easily integrate apps like gsuite One click install of web apps.
Really cheap domains Always ready and effective customer service, I love the live chat most, they courteously resolve any issue you have. Free Whois privacy
A bit hard to navigate for first time users. I had to contact support to be able to edit DNS record. For the hosting, the resource allotments are a bit small.
I register domains at great prices with free WHOIS. Build websites with the superfast hosting provided by namecheap.
It is one of the best options actualmenta to be able to access domains and hosting at the same time. I really like the speed with which the support staff responds to your concerns, they are quite good at it. With regard to their security they are quite reliable and thanks to this I use NameCheap. We can create the best web pages of their hand, and the best of the best is that they are constantly finding new things.
I've been using NameCheap for a few years and honestly I have no complaints. In our company we manage several web pages with them and everything is perfect.
It has benefited us with the possibility of managing our web pages with a platform that is easy to use and intuitive. On the other hand our clients and even we are quite satisfied with the result that NameCheap gives us. And finally we feel quite safe using this software, so we will continue to use it for a good time.
