Kajabi has a clean design and the ability to host courses that you can sell. If you're looking for a website to post and sell courses on, the courses are very customizable.
There are a few downsides to Kajabi. It can be pretty expensive per month if you want to use some of the features that differentiate them from other website hosts. The support team does their best but cannot answer in-depth questions. And the built-in analytics don't make a lot of sense, so I don't trust the numbers. The code is not editable (except for adding code to the top of all the pages - useful for adding a cookies disclaimer), so make sure that you don't need to edit the code before going with Kajabi.
Kajabi is the platform to use when designing and selling courses and presents a clean look for clients. I was able to create the website with little website experience, which was definitely appreciated.
Kajabi is easy to use and very intuitive. It makes tasks such as sending email campaigns and CRM management very easy.
There are not a lot of options when you want to do more granular tracking for email marketing. It's also hard to set up more dynamic email sequences.
We use it for CRM management, email marketing, products, and website creation.
I like the simplicity of the backend interface. The clean look and the quick support. I like that they have funnels, but again, they are very simple. I like the you can upload the videos and it's hosted in Kajabi, one of Kajabi's strength so far...
A lot. I'll start with the design of the website within Kajabi. Membership is quite hard to implement on this platform. You have to customize how you create your courses, and members may look simple, but you'll end up with hundreds of products and offers as you continue having memberships. There's also no way to bundle, categorize or, if on the front-end, have all your over a hundred courses in categories. So, your members will get frustrated trying to find the course they purchased. We have a monthly membership. We must continually create the months to add the product for those that renewed or not. There's no other way around it. The checkout page is not customizable too. We are delaying charging members for one month but we don't want the "free trial" to show on the offer checkout. However, there's no way around it either. There's no way you can customize your customer receipt. They recently implemented a receipt, but it's not customizable with fields you'd like your EU customers to receive. Tags are limited to 100, that's for the high-price subscription. If you want to use more tags, then you'll have to upgrade.
I'm not sure it's solving any problem other than some bells and whistles that isn't what a creator needs. They added podcast and coaching within their platform, it's nice, but we are not using it since the primary thing we are using it for which is membership, isn't updated, or they don't want to invest in it.
I like that it has a lot of options, like the landing pages, hosting your site, the course, affiliate tracking and more. Realistically, it's a solid option for the course part but I'd skip the rest.
The funnel builder creates everything for you but then puts things in odd places. Landing pages haven't converted for me despite looking nearly identical but the single most terrible thing is that it doesn't track email stats correctly so when you email your list, there are some things you can track and some that you can't and it makes no sense.
I would love for Kajabi to be my entire online business but it's really only effective when paired with other tools.
Everything you need to run a business is all built into Kajabi. It is also more cost-effective than any other platform.
I wish there was a comprehensive reference book for it.
Enables me to seamlessly and easily run my business.
Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for me. It hosts my website, sends emails to my email list, takes payment from my clients, and hosts my online course. It is a total no-brainer for my business.
Kajabi is super user-friendly. My only dislike is the cost.
All-in-one platform, see above.
I like the way so many tools are packed into one package. I can handle email marketing, sales funnels, webinars, and course content all in one place that's easy for me to manage as an instructor and an entrepreneur. It's got such a great UX and UI compared to its competition, too!
I wish Kajabi had a bit more robust analytics features. However, Kajabi is always improving, taking feedback, and adding new features to their product. Plus, enhanced tracking (like in ClickFunnels) would be AMAZING. Still, I'm a huge fan of Kajabi and highly recommend it to everyone I meet who is thinking about launching an online course, podcast, or coaching business. You can try it for free here:https://app.kajabi.com/r/pX9DRMmb
I'm able to keep all my business software needs in one place with one product. I don't have to worry as often about connecting APIs or trying to integrate other products into my workflow. (Even if you do need to, they make it easy to connect with Zapier, etc.). Plus, I can even give discounts with coupon codes to my customers and encourage my students to find more students with my affiliate program. Kajabi is nearly perfect as an online course platform!
This is a great site to use when building a membership site. It is super user friendly. I like that you can add courses as well.
It would be great if some edits would be easy to find.
Membership site. We now have a place for members to come in and have extra resources and a forum.
Kajabi is the BEST training tool when trying to grow your team. It allows you to insert videos, tests & documents into your course to keep your students interested.
Granting your clients access to certain products that you offer can be difficult. However, the knowledge base helps solve this issue.
We are onboarding new team members at a quicker rate.
So many great things: 1) our members can access our course material through an app 2) it is super easy to set up 3) good price in comparrison to other programs 4) our members are happier in this platform as it is easier for use.
I wish that the customer service was a litte better. The wait times are way too long. I also dislike how consumption by member is mesarured.
improved membership site for our numerous courses. Our members are much more satisfied with this tool then our previous site. Our customer retention has improved
Incredible easy to use. Very intuitive and easy to use on the backend. Variety of options to customize the website. Customer service is available 24/7, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful!
You do have to upgrade quite a bit to get options that come standard on some other website platforms.
Online teaching platform. We are realizing having all of the material contained in one place, easy to use, plus because it is so widely used, many people already have accounts, so our online courses are simply added to their library and they have everything in one place.
I started out as a small one-woman team, but I had big dreams. With Kajabi I was actually able to grow my business from the inside out with the website builder, pipelines, forms, and email campaigns. But what I really loved were the tutorials and videos. They just helped explain everything so clearly.
I’d like to see more customization in some features, like the email marketing campaigns. I would love to be able to tweak the design templates a bit, etc. In addition, I Also missed working on a team or giving another person access to my files.
Kajabi is really great for connecting with my customers. The community chat feature allows me to speak with my clients in an open, easy to use format. So there’s more transparency, communication, and productivity all around.
ease of use, landing pages, optin and email all included. Easy to upload videos, photos, files and audio. Stores blog and keeps updated.
Needs more connecting parameters and have the ability to transfer data for user profiles within the landing pages. Ability to edit the product is limited.
Easy to create training videos and assessments.
It's all in one, is way cheaper than paying Hosting+CRM+Video hosting+Email Marketing. Works great if you can live without a highly specialized solution.
Servers are not blazing fast (your site won't do as good in GTMetrix), if you need anything outside their templates you won't be able to do it, unless you hire a developer. Since Kajabi is not as popular as say, Wordpress, it will be expensive. If you were to use Wordpress, whatever you need your website to do, there's a plugin for that. That's not the case for Kajabi
I can create campaigns, track results, sell products, create communities, etc.
