Hootsuite allows us to manage our social channels without any issues and provides a one-stop shop for all things social-related.
The Amplify section of Hootsuite still has some bugs that need fixing.
It allows us to manage our socials and look at all out accounts in one place. We also enjoy the customizable reports in the Analytics section.
I love the schedule ahead feature for placing my posts for the week ahead of time. Set it and forget it! also, monitoring your streams in a one stop manner on the platform vs. toggling through browsers is super helpful.
The only thing I don't like is not being able to tag people or businesses with differing handles on Facebook vs. Instagram vs. Twitter. You end up having to post multiple times if the person/businesses handles aren't the same across all.
Monitoring and posting to our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages simulatenously instead of toggling through browers constantly thorughout the day. Helps tremendously with time management.

The most recent update was a little hard to use at first, otherwise I have enjoyed Hootsuite.
Hootsuite is making it easier for me to remember and use my social networks for our State Farm Agency. I can post out a few days if there is ever a time where our office won't be in or if I specifically will not be in.
Hootsuite has completely changed the way we work on social media. Its all-in-one platform is easy to use and useful. Having everything in one place really makes our job of doing everything much simpler!
Since the big wave of layoffs, getting support takes a bit more time but they still reply within a reasonable timeframe. Our account manager is awesome and always available. :)
Hootsuite has everything in one place so it lowers the risk of discrepancies and having to look through multiple platforms. Their Owly Writer also really helps in cases of writers block.
Content, community, and analytics management is all in one place. we don't have to check anything from the native social channels and it is consolidated under one roof.
Some posts fail to publish and we have to repost them again. I hope this is fixed soon. Lastly, this is not a dislike but it would be a great if its possible to write and tag users on IG stories from Hootsuite.
It saves a lot of time because we can bulk-schedule our content in advance. Most of all we can provide brand-approved content to all social media managers directly by adding it to the Hootsuite content library.
I love how easy it is to work with a large team and coordinate our efforts on social media.
I wish there was more information about the incoming messages. For example, Instagram private messages are called Direct Messages, as are public stories that we're tagged in. It would be helpful to differentiate between the two since it's not always readily apparent.

One of the most notable aspects of Hootsuite is its account management team. Davis, who was assigned to help my team, is highly knowledgeable and was always noticeably available to assist us with any questions or concerns, particularly when our software was going through rolling upgrades. They've proactively offered advice and recommendations on improving how we deploy our tactics on social media.
Inability to directly make paid posts on LinkedIn. But I understand this is a platform issue for Linkedin and less so for Hootsuite.

It also provides intensive categorization and reporting tools that help us to keep track of trends in the topics that are most important to our customers from day to day.
Recent updates to the tool have made our categorization process a bit more challenging; however, their team's support is always open to feedback and willing to consider their clients' feedback.

Hootsuite helps ensure that all of my social media posts are well-scheduled and on track by giving me an in-depth analysis of the metrics per post. It is also helpful for us that they can provide competitor analysis which gives us a unique idea of how we can execute our social media strategies.
The interface can still be improved to help new users become familiar with the software's features. It would be helpful if they could provide a crash course to new users.
The AI provides options for post captions. However, it could be improved to make the suggestions more precise in the posts and probably fewer emoticons to make the writeup more professional.
