It works all the time for me and people at my firm
Fat client it is very slow sometimes with peaks and valleys
Customer gains
The ability to sync to a folder on my desktop using Box Sync really makes this streamlined and efficient for daily use.
I dislike the time it sometimes takes for files to sync between users. Some larger files have taken an hour or more.
We have employees in multiple regions sharing files with Box. The ability to see the same information, as well as collaborate, all in one place, increases efficiency and reduces the chances for employees to be working from different versions of documentation.
Easy to organize my files. Basically it take less than 1 minute to upload my files.
Some company does not support to open box.
storage
Un servicio sencillo y funcional con frecuentes actualizaciones
Todavía faltan servicios con los que integrarse
Servicio de archivos comun
I liked the fact that using Box Sync allowed you to access/browse your cloud director as if it was native to my operating system.
It was common to become frustrated when it went out of sync and it was unclear what the proper process was to fix it.
Box provides an environment to store and share policy documents as well as daily reporting documents
Being able to edit files and save them directly to and from Box, no need to download and re-upload!
Won't tell you if someone else is currently looking at the same file.
Having to send files around the office. Time saved by having everything in one place for everyone to access.
I like that I have free storage and an option to buy if necessary.
IT will be better if it were totally free but I also understand why it's not
Using it to share large images with clients.
I like the easy, visual format that they have!
The internet reliability is a bit of an issue
They allow me to easily organize large amount of content
I like the fact that sharing is much easier without having to use google email addresses.
I wish some of the tools were a little more user friendly.
Nothing major other than easier collaboration without the need to use personal google email addresses.
easy to access, user friendly, and useful, can share a document with multiple users.
limited GB for free accounts, need to consistently upgrade plan when run out of storage
Share the file with different user and its admin functions allow me to limit other's user access.
1. Box provides a common platform from which anyone on the project with the requisite level of authority can access and/or edit a file 2. The functionality is straightforward and intuitive 3. It's easy to move and copy files and create folders 4. Pasting links to Box is much better than passing files along via email...and more secure 5. I can easily see who the last editor is and when the last edit was made. Size of files is also accessible.
1. Sometimes it's hard to discern what the different levels of access to a file mean. For instance, what can I do by opening a file in Excel online vs. regular excel vs. downloading it. What are the pros and cons of each. Box doesn't it make it easy to understand this and therefore I do see conflict errors occur in files whereby 2 people editing the file at the same time aren't aware of root cause. 2. Why is there JnJ access vs. outside contractor access? What is the difference?
See above. For fast-moving divestitures, people need to be able to store and edit vast amounts of files and data. File sharing is crucial. Also crucial for audit purposes. Benefits are increased accessibility and collaboration on files.
It is very easy to navigate the site and shows the date that was uploaded and by whom.
I really like all the features on Box, however I wish there was a way we could choose to download multiple docs at the same time.
Allows us to transfer big files easily
Convenient and easy to share with others
Hard to get used to at first - not clear instructions
Collaborative
It is really difficult to trust any application for storing your sensitive files to be accessed from anywhere in the world. But Box is one of the best cloud based services which helped me to store my files securely and also to edit it and re-store from anywhere. Also I liked its efficient sharing and collaboration feature for documents. Nice application for everyone who work online!
Could not find anything unfavorable in this application as it is superb and well designed. One thing I would like to suggest is that the integration of a direct chat window with the support in the user dashboard or direct email support. It might help users to quickly chat with the support team.
Storing files on a secure server. Easy upload and share of important documents for collaboration. An application on which our business can trust!
I have been a longtime user of box.com and find that it provides a secure means to store valuable content and share with team members.
When comparing this tool's UI to google drive, I find that the features Google provides as it pertains to email integration and cross-platform usability is where box.com falls short.
Storing public and private content in the cloud.
