Workable is extremely user friendly and the technology is easy to learn. At our company, hiring managers are heavily involved in the recruitment process. Workable allows the HR team to have extreme oversight over the hiring managers and the system makes it easy to stay organized. Workable is also competitively priced.
Workable is extremely innovative and announces new features often; however, those new features come at an additional cost.
There are a lot of features within Workable that have helped our business solve problems. The sourced feature uses technology to source candidates that have not applied to the position, but seem to be a good fit. This allows us to have a larger candidate pool without adding additional time. The templates are also extremely useful and easy to set up. Workable comes with a slew of templates and you are able to edit and create new ones according to your business needs.
I can see all candidates on the left side of bar. I can make bulk actions.
I really don't have any complaints about workable. The features have not gotten in my way of successfully recruiting.
Adding managers to see progress or emails.
I love that Workable helps to organize all the incoming resumes from many different hiring sites. The information is laid out in a very organized manner and is very easy to access and it is easy for others within my company to know what action has been taken in regards to a specific candidate.
I wish there was a better way to schedule Zoom calls within the Workable scheduler. It may be available on other plans, but is not available on my version.
Workable has helped us by streamlining our hiring processes. It allows us to move through the process efficiently.
User friendly Reporting accuracy Interface
Nothing much. Maybe more integrations would be helpful
Solving lack of data accuracy
The ease in locating candidates, & accessing their information/resumes.
I don't see any downsides. I enjoy using the site everyday.
I am able to locate potential candidates for a number of our firms open positions.
Ease of sharing feedback. @mentioning at teammate makes it easy to compare notes on candidates.
I wish there was an easy way to see when jobs were posted.
We have greatly improved our ability to capture feedback on candidates.
Very easy to use; going from one area to another. Great automation.
Cant really think of anything at this time.
Hiring, selecting the right candidates.
I like the chat features which allows me to communicate with managers and also the inbox that shows updates to candidates
When candidates are moved to other roles that I do not have access to, I cannot see them which is a little confusing. Also sometimes when interviews are set up, I do not get notifications
The ability to work with managers and cut out a lot of back and forth communication with the visibility it provides
I like all of the. visibility I get with Workable
Needs: - keyboard shortcuts (Google drive style ideally) - "find" to see if candidates have a skill in their cover letter or PDF CV - "filter from view" - when I decline a candidate, I no longer want to see it (most of the time)
Hiring
I would say the thing I enjoy the most is the flexible hiring pipeline. I work at a small startup and no two departments have the same hiring needs, so to allow department heads to have a say in how we craft the hiring process, not only empowers them but also allows buy-in. I also love the fact that the platform posts to a minimum of 13 different job boards. It really saves quite a lot of time and admin since you are not required to create accounts on any of these job boards. It honestly is any HR Professionals dream to have a platform that can automate the process for you.
There isn't much that I dislike about the platform, but if I did have one critique I would say the Team Reviews/Grading section could probably be a bit clearer.
The entire hiring process from start to finish. I used Workable at the last startup I worked at, so when I headed up the HR Department at my new startup, I knew how beneficial it was when it came to streamlining the entire process. We still are a small startup and team, but I wanted to ensure we laid the right foundation with Workable from Day 1.
When I first started using it 5 years ago, I liked the fact that I easily understood how it works. Now I like its simplicity and the peace of mind I get when using it.
I have nothing important to add on this. I also want to add that I have not used another similar tool.
All job applications are there, categorised and easy to find, with the comments of the interviewers and all the features you might need (send directly emails, templates, snooze candidates etc. ) It makes your work easier.
Easy to use. Great repository for all our recruiting needs.
Workable is a great system and we currently have no dislikes with this system.
We have been able to quickly see all candidate resumes and meet reporting requirements.
Both our Account Manager Rachael, and sales rep, Jack, made the selection and implementation process a breeze. Rachael is very responsive and warm. We're very happy with the UX/UI of the product and the referrals program in particular. The email alerts have been really effective in looping in the broader team as we open up new rolls.
There are little things here and there that I wish could be a bit more customizable, but after an extensive discovery process prior to picking an ATS, I realize no one platform does it all. I also hope that they continue to increase their DEI efforts as they build out the product.
We needed a more robust product as we scale. The platform has definitely succeeded in supporting that growth!
First of all, I loved the customer service. The product itself has amazing features - I absolutely love the pipelines, the outlook integration, the evaluation forms, etc.
I wish that you could create a custom template for application questions that sticks each time. I have to manually add in the same application questions for our roles because we need the extra questions, so it would be nice to have templates for that.
There are so many benefits! Overall, we didn't have an ATS before, and Workable made it very easy to implement a helpful tool. Going from no ATS to having one, we have solved MANY problems keeping track of candidates in the past.
The ease of the platform, being able to easily review applicants and see how they move through the funnel while capturing all thoguhts.
I don't have anything I dislike about workable at this time.
We are solving hiring across the board and being able to capture all feedback in one place.
Contact candidates, share insights with colleagues, easily read through multiple resumes
On my iPad the app won’t switch to landscape to work with my keyboard
I can read other interviewers insights before shortlisting
easy to use, super helpful, makes the applicant management so much more easier and efficient, allows for keeping track of notes + exchanging internally by tagging people, storing evaluations. Also great for keeping track of communication with candidates, scheduling interviews with a self-schedule linke, etc. I really recommend Workable as a ATS!
I have not encountered anything I dislike
- applicant management incl screening, sending bulk answers, talent pool management, communication with candidates, easy scheduling interviews, tracking evaluations, internal commenting/exchanging on clients with other hiring managers
It keeps comms away from Candidates, but you can see everything in 1 place.
Disqualification is not easy without a reason. Sometimes its obvious they are not right.
Sharing of CVs across team members.
Candidate Search, It could find candidate's email
Will be great, if you from Workable can schedule meeting to people outside company. (Example: Clients interviews)
Better follow up to the selection process
How easy it is to communicate with all parties
I really have nothing to complain about.
I have not had any issues, it is very user friendly. I like being ableto attach the email conversation and not have to type it out each time.
