This is one of the few DCAA compliant time tracking systems that offers an audit trail. The actual time tracker is easy enough to use.
There are so many things I dislike about this system. It's difficult to customize reports without downloading Excel files and editing columns within Excel. Since Intuit took over, our uses constantly get locked out of the system and asked to reset their passwords. They tell you you're supposed to get locked out of your account every 24 hours or when you log off your machine, but in reality it just logs our users out with no rhyme or reason. Their customer service is awful. If you use their chat feature while logged in, you have to wait around for an agent to see your message, which typically takes a minimum of an hour. Then, if you don't respond to them within minutes, they will just disconnect the session without any follow-up, even if you ask to be contacted by email. They also no longer monitor their support email, so the only other way to contact them is by phone, which also takes an absurd amount of time. It seems like the support agents have very little knowledge of the TSheets product, as 9/10 times they don't actually fix my issue. I cannot wait to leave TSheets!
The only reason we use them is because they are one of the few DCAA compliant systems
Accessible from all internet enabled devices.
Running reports was a nightmare at best.
Time tracking with location tracking to make sure employees are on site when they start their clock from their personal device rather than having a office time clock.
Advanced users that have a stronger analytical background with be able to catch on tho this system. It will take time.
The support with T Sheets is not a great experience. Quickbooks interface compatibility needs to be smoother. Not a program that is easily taught to beginners.
We are having issues with paid time off functions and it would be nice to have greater flexibility. Support hasnt helped much but I'm assuming they are also beginners in the field. Breaking down Tsheets functionality seems to be a daily task when trying to get the team on board.
It integrates with Quickbooks fairly easy to track time.
The reporting functionality has been neutered so it's almost useless.
Time tracking for projects.
The ability to use as an app , convenient for the staff out on the field to track their time and what task they are working on
Not user friendly , difficult to train. Took a while for everyone to get the hang of it or understand how to use it. Should have an easier clock in and out
No business issues besides training issues. Helps vendors track time easier
It provides an app and you can easily see where your at in terms of time for the week/day.
It is very user unfriendly. It is hard to navigate and understand how they are calculating your time. It is hard to read time sheets and change time if needed.
We have steam lined our compensation for many employees which gives the HR office more time to do other things.
