I enjoyed the freindly customer service. My business always comes back to Nextiva because the prices combined with the package of all the virtual tools provided beats all the other platforms prices. I love the price of the options for sms and call forwarding. Its also wonderful when a representative calls shortly after purchase to set up the business phone software's without charging a ridiculous setup fee like most companies especially for real estate and virtual address'. Nextiva is a reliable option and beats competitors. -easy set up -affordable plans -sms options -low cost add ons for bigger business needs -fax number+local number+toll free number inlcuded
- wifi needed for calling to work seamlessly - no actual refferall link to just send to people to click on -some app glitches
Nextiva has created a seamless setup and affordable pricing structure that allows new business' to get started and grow without incurring ridiculous setup fees which allows new business to actually afford marketing and continue paying monthly services like nextiva. I love that we get 3 phone numbers included with our plan. A fax number a local number and a toll free number.
After everything was setup and put into action the service itself works really well. We rarely have any dropped calls or issues with hearing one another across multiple locations on different ISPs. The customization is detailed and the software is easy to use once you take the time to sit down and learn it. The support staff is amazing. If there is an issue they normally can fix it pretty quickly.
The sales, implementation, and account managers could work towards making their customers feel like more of a priority than what we have experienced. Implementation was a nightmare because our account implementation specialist would ignore important parts of emails and questions which held us up and made implementation take months. There were several times I had to go over their head because a week would go by without a response or when receiving a response questions that were asked were skipped over or left unanswered completely. We had a third party from CommQuotes assisting us through the process and without his help we may have never gotten things up and running. Billing has been a nightmare. We have several locations and separating out calls to determine what location owes what for the monthly bill is not simple. We have to manually download call logs and sort them in excel to determine each locations usage. A major issue that has completely turned me off to wanting to speak with our account manager and has made me question the company as a whole is that we recently requested 2 licenses to allow users we already had extensions for the ability to use a desktop application for messaging capabilities within the company. We were given the licenses, but we were also charged for 2 additional phone extensions. When the mistake was discovered, we brought it to our account managers attention and provided emails showing that we did not request additional extensions which we are charged for monthly but do not have the phones to use. We were told there was nothing they could do unless we wanted to pay an "early termination fee" for a service we never wanted or requested in the first place. To me this is horrible business ethics as the fault was on Nextiva and not us.
Instead of using POTS lines through different phone companies with different local numbers and an in house phone server we are all able to have unified extensions, link to other locations with the click of a button, transfer easier, control forwarding and other phone functions from our web browsers and we get one bill each month instead of 5+ with constantly changing rates and fees.
Our old provider cost more than double and didn't have all the features we were looking for. Nextiva made switching simple, and they have better components than our old service provider.
So far, we haven't disliked anything. A minor critique is; when setting up our phone, there is no touch screen and typing the password for our wifi was a challenge, but the tech walked us through it and got us all set up in no time.
Our old landline provider charged more than double the cost of nextiva. We needed a phone system that worked off the internet and helped us use our cell phones instead of just being tied to a desk.
Customer service and solutions oriented VOIP service provider. Pricing is below competitors.
During on-boarding the spreadsheet to enter all information should be a little more flexible.
Nextiva offers a very competivtive solution at very competitive prices. Nextiva also takes the headache away from the on-boarding customer for on-boarding and initialization of services.
Nextiva allows you to take your phone calls to your business from your smartphone if you want them directed there. I received a free VOIP phone when we set up our service, which was a nice perk. Also, the web-based fax service really increases the value of faxing as we can access it anywhere and we don't need a fax machine. Additionally, the online chat provides great customer service so issues can be resolved easily.
The only thing I struggled with was getting used to all the additional features of the new phone system. It has unlimited accessibility, built-in voicemail. Now, I realize that it is so much easier. Also, I would routinely forget that my fax machine was no longer necessary as all faxing is done via scanning and emailing from their website.
We were paying way too much to Verizon for their phone service, and locked into a contract that had huge early-termination fees. Now we have a much better service for far less money and
so many features at a very attractive price if purchased alone will cost a lot more than what Nextiva charges for the monthly subscribtion.
Customer service is excellent, but to get a hold of someone without staying on hold forever, you have to call during off-peak hours, like before 8 AM.
The Call recording, the ability to listen in on calls during training for my staff. I can answer calls wherever I am in the world and still show my clients I'm at the office.
Customer service was GREAT, then became a little iffy... but in the past few months they most likely caught up with their growth and now again offer amazing service, quick support, and very fair prices. The portal is easy to use, and the amount of features is really great.
The pricing would be better if it's a bit more competitive, but like other normal companies, i'm sure they don't want to compete on price. To hire good people and pay for good technology, i guess they have to charge a bit more than others.
Ability for our international team to work from home, from different countries. Provide phone support, incoming and outgoing calls, and analysis of calls.
Comprehensive set of products for a good price.
I would love to have all the phone and fax numbers on the dashboard.
I am a small business, and Nextiva provides local and 800 numbers for the same price others charge for just one number AND it provides fax services. Meets all my needs.
