Even though Hostgator is in the United States, and they boast that their tech support staff and servers are in the US, I feel like Hostgator outsource their support team from other countries. Because sometimes in the live support chat, I end up with an operator whose English isn't native and is sometimes grammatically incorrect, but I still could understand him. I know it's an Indian whenever they use words like "kindly" in front of their support response messages. I just rather prefer in-house American support. It's alright for me that they have to outsource staff because that's the sacrifice of having fast support 24/7. Although their first response is fast, sometimes my problems require "upper level" support, so they have to wait for one of the higher ups to solve my problem.
