"Good service and automation that rivals with constant contact, but with increasing costs."
What do you like best about Drip?

The automation has a better graphic interface than its competitors, the customer service is excellent and definitively, it's a powerful tool even for email marketing and some marketing automation, which is always a quality of life improvement for us marketers,

What do you dislike about Drip?

The increasing costs once you pass a threshold is noticeable for small agencies or businesses that tend to return the value differently, especially the past year was a severe blow to some agencies and the cash flow was impacted badly. The price tiers start to remind me of those of Hubspot, and well, every marketer by now knows that equals a lot of spend in fees. I dislike the pricing getting expensive, not necessarily if you are growing as a business

What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main one would be the email marketing, while the automation is used, after certain amount of actions ( automations) it starts to hinder the waller.

"We could not meet the email marketing integration demands of our service industry without Drip"
What do you like best about Drip?

It offers advanced functionality for ecommerce at an affordable price. Easy to use UI. Also, for those doing integrations, the ability to leverage custom fields on orders (not just on subscribers) and create custom events is HUGE. No other tool out there offers those key features- typically because their ecommerce features are after-thought bolt ons. There are a few that say they can, but after spending time in their sandbox, looking under the hood, and talking with their tech team (not sales) their functionality was indeed very limited compared to Drip. We couldn't meet our customer requirements without Drip.

What do you dislike about Drip?

There are frequent changes to the UI - and not small ones. I'm hoping this slows down soon, as every time they do this we have to update all of our agency documentation. It'd be worth it if there was a value-add, but it all seems to be aesthetic (and it was great before the change). Also, without a large number of subscribers you have to rely on email support, which is very slow. That means our clients are calling us for Drip support issues because they can't wait a week or two for assistance. Lastly, tier one support is pretty low level, so I feel like (even with chat support and not email support) we wait extended periods of time to get answers to questions, defects, etc.

What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're an agency partner. We have built an integration between a large ticketing company and Drip...and we sell the integration (plus training, etc) to people who use the ticketing product. Even in the travel space (which was CRUSHED because of Covid) our clients are seeing about 15--20% of their total revenue coming from email marketing (some more, some less) because of the custom event triggers Drip allows them to leverage, browse abandonment, lead magnets (with the pop up form) and more.

"A beautiful user interface coupled with smart and easy to use features"
What do you like best about Drip?

I love the beautiful UI and how easy Drip makes things like managing workflows. I came from probably the largest email provider (that starts with a M) and thoroughly enjoy using Drip more. Even the email builder is fun and easy to use (albeit not super advanced, but that's fine!). I love their extensive list of guides and walk through videos. There's endless ideas in there for how I can improve my email marketing and I'm only small percentage of the way through it. The Drip product team is also super good at listening and implementing feedback, for example they added SMS marketing in 2020 and it's been super useful and fun to use. Even within a few months of the beta they had added new features like sending images/GIFs which is a big value add!

What do you dislike about Drip?

I don't love how the dashboard isn't responsive (this would be fine if they had a smartphone app but they don't). Also their customer service email reply times aren't great but when they do reply they are always super helpful. There could be more total integrations, especially with e-commerce related tools like reviews and SMS tools.

What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?

Drip is really good at helping me save time with email marketing by doing it effectively and efficiently. Also they updated their pricing tier sometime earlier in 2020 and now its even more affordable. I realize I dont know everything about email marketing and so their knowledge/learning center is priceless. I imagine most folks don't know the depths of email marketing so their extensive guides are super useful and this was a benefit I hadn't known before opening an account.

"Extremely robust email marketing tool."
What do you like best about Drip?

The number of features offered and workflow interface in my opinion are unmatched. The ease of navigation is great and intuitive. The email templates are beautifully designed. The campaign templates make new funnel creation much quicker.

What do you dislike about Drip?

Compared to similar tools, I find it to be a bit over priced. I have recommended drip to a number of people and the price has deterred many. The Sendowl integration is extremely lacking. Many of my subscribers were getting the incorrect emails because they were not segmented properly initially because of issues with sendowl integration. I was also charged for having people on my list that unsubscribed. As a new user, it was not initially intuitive to me that I needed to delete these people or I would be charged a higher amount.

What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?

The rules and workflow capabilities are amazing and really help me niche down with my list. The tool I used before didn't have great workflow capability. This is essential for a successful sales funnel. For example, I Drip for a fitness website where I offer both weight loss and muscle building funnels. Without proper workflow and rules, subscribers would be getting information completely unrelated to what they want.

"Modernise and automate your email marketing goals with Drip."
What do you like best about Drip?

The best features of Drip are as follows - 1. I believe that Drip has the best in class library/collection of various types of templates and layouts for well suited for various types of campaign. It saves a lot of hassle designing specific templates from scratch rather you can easily edit it to your taste upon the existing templates. It has gave me great results so far with my advertisement campaigns. 2. The AI assists on it is very neat. It provides help in composing and scheduling the emails. The dashboard also consists of various intuitive and technical features which helps you out creating various campaigns. 3. In the fore mentioned part about advanced feature is the email template editor it is well designed and provides tools to change the entire appearance of the template. 4.Also I believe that the software has great email automation is well suited for small enterprises considering the workflow quality to the price which makes its a great their customer service is totally commendable.

What do you dislike about Drip?

The features where there is a room for improvement are as follows - 1. I felt that the Sign up window is totally buggy as even after filling all the require fields it was showing to fill all the blanks. Also there was no email confirming my login/ sign up with them and while closing the tap and opening it again i found that I was logged in automatically. This can be a security issue. 2. I believe one needs to go through tuitorials and articles to learn the software which rates its learning curve complex for the beginners as my team found it difficult in the start. 3. I also think the entire experience can be buggy and slow regarding that the software would jump around pages and crash without warning which leaves you inefficient.

What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?

Drip has helped me tackling issues with my email campaigns in designing and automation by providing great templates which have helped be attain great engagement results. I think the UI is really clean and has vibran features. I think its well suited for any small B2C business who to improve their campaigns and achieve good results. I find the $41/ pm price to be fine and value for money to the features it provides. Although it can feel buggy and slow at times. Overall its an great ERCM and email builder which is highly capable.

"Very powerful system. Good support."
What do you like best about Drip?

The workflows seem to be capable of doing incredible things, once you've got your head around them. A/B testing on various aspects of a campaign Send time option to follow subscriber's timezone Responsive and helpful support team

What do you dislike about Drip?

Although Drip's own form widget looks great, it is a bit limited. The option to add checkboxes, radio buttons or dropdowns is only available on embedded forms. The embedded forms do not allow for any styling. Only the instruction "style yourself with CSS" is given. But there are no examples of CSS rules provided. You are left completely on your own to work that out. For someone like me, with very little coding knowledge, this makes implementing the necessary changes for the form to look any good a very daunting task. The integrations with other platforms seem to be, in many cases, much more expensive than they should be. The WooCommerce integration, for example, is $79 USD and appears to be pretty limited. Compare this to the free integrations available for ConvertKit and ActiveCampaign (with ActiveCampaign, the free option is only offered to the second tier of pricing and up, however, there are 3rd party plugins offered which provide much more functionality than the Drip integration and at a lower price). There are many other integrations available for Drip, almost exclusively to VERY expensive services. It would be great to be able to link Drip to something affordable, but I honestly can't find any options to do that. I am in the position that I really want Drip to help me succeed in ways that I hadn't before. Sometimes I get the feeling that it's designed exclusively for those who are ALREADY successful and that someone like me, who is hoping to get something off the ground with very limited resource would be better using a different system.

What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tagging users based on the pages they visit should be very useful for us in the future. We still haven't quite realised that benefit, as we haven't quite worked out how best to use the information we've gathered.

"Using Drip to manage my Blog Email List"
What do you like best about Drip?

I like how visual Drip is. You are able to make broadcast and campaign emails with ease. It also integrates with just about anything, which is really helpful.

What do you dislike about Drip?

I've had trouble with my campaign emails going out earlier than the time scheduled. Also, Drip changed their pricing to a cheaper price point, and didn't change what I was being charged. It felt a little untruthful to keep charging me 2x the amount. I happened to find out later, and Drip changed what they were charging me. But no credit for the months of paying double.

What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am managing and growing my email list for my blog. I like that everything is automated.

"Caution: They increase the prices without grandfathering current customers"
What do you like best about Drip?

In general terms it is a good marketing automation tool.

What do you dislike about Drip?

The technical support needs to be improved and the tool is not very intuitive. They increase the prices and do not care how many years you have as a customer. We have used the Drip service for approximately 3 years. From one day to the next they have increased (too much) the prices without respecting the original price. This company is not recommended.

What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?

Marketing automation.
