The best i like in digitalocean space is charges when comparing to othere service provide like AWS its a bit cheaper like for storage its 0.02$/GB and for datatransfer/bandwidth its 0.01$/GB. If you choose the amazon it will cost less in storage but more on bandwidth/data transfer
dislike in digitalocean will be the use case we can not attachet the digitalocean space to the droplet as a storage it will be like a stand alone component, where we can attache aws s3 for hosting static web files
The solving is digitalocean space will provide the CDN by default and it was so easy to connect to the digitalocean with screte and client id.
Unlike any other Object Storage, such as AWS S3, it provides in-built CDN; it is fast, highly reliable, and highly scalable more over it is also S3 compatible one can easily use the large ecosystem of plugins and tools
As such I have no feedback to add, I love digital ocean spaces and I use it for my website and apps
It provides highly reliable, scalable, fast and secure object storage with in-built CDN; I am using digital ocean spaces in my apps and website(mainly for hosting pdfs) it decreases the load time of file loading .
I love how easy it is to deploy and host servers.
I don't dislike much, I feel the User Experience could be better though.
First off, the pricing has helped me cut down budget. Then the APIs and integration is so easy to implement anyone can work on it which also saves time.
remarkable performace and uptime with very easy to understand documentation and services
not so good in terms of pricing discounts/ offers like the new players like Linode. These are very helpful for cash starved bootstrapped startup teams like mine, where we need to do many unpaid demo MVPs
Developing behavioural AI apps on cloud that quantifies human biases in our everyday lives! We will have high volumes of concurrent users on our apps and we have to have high uptime and great experience for all our users at an affordable cost.
The best thing i love is the cloud space capacity. And the uploading capacity of server is very strong. I would also love the Encryption and security of Cloud.
No dislike experience by me. As the digital ocean provide various tools. I would suggest them to make better User Graphic Interface.
I as a Tech Support of Microsoft solve various client side problem through digital ocean tools.
I like easy to setup new droplet. I can set up a new droplet within a few steps and a few minutes.
I like everything in digital ocean, I am first time user in digital ocean, But i never faced any problem while i am deploying in Digital ocean.
I set up a new Nginx server, and deploy my project in digital ocean spaces.
I like how easy it is to get DO and spaces up and running. I spend less time messing around with hosting thanks to digitalocean so I can spend more time on development,
Theres not really anything apart from the ability to enable gzip or other compression for assets.
Better management and ownership over CDN. It also works out much cheaper in the long run.
I like the ease of setup of spaces. I have been using spaces for a while now and I find it very easy to use. Also, it is relatively cheaper than other services in the market. Spaces are very developer-friendly and it requires little effort to set up.
Something that I don't like about spaces is the User interface. Also, you may face outages sometimes with space. You may need to check the status page of DigitalOcean occasionally.
We are using spaces to store static site content and use it to store images, audio files.
DigitalOcean Spaces is a great tool for storing images and files for your applications. It is easy to integrate with Java based applications using Amazon SDK. It is very friendly to use and access using DigitalOcean UI. It is also affordable for a single developer. I use it for my application everyday.
DigitalOcean should provide a web api to access the DigitalOcean Space usage like Spaces as a Service kind of feature so users application can integrate it easily.
I store images on DigitalOcean Spaces for my "Kecha" (https://kecha.sonam.us) mobile application. I also would like to use it for saving videos and other types of files in the futures. The benefits of using DigitalOcean is that I don't have to maintain another infrastructure to store files.
We've enjoyed the simplicity of utilizing the space with our workflow and applications.
So far I currently can't think of much as it's meeting our needs well.
We are using it to store User Generated Content from our apps and games currently.
The way that they sell the builds of computing, like focus on RAM or CPU. that's awesome and help you to select the one that you chose; if you compare this to other suppliers, you will see that DIgital ocean offers the best and newest hardware for a low price
The builds that they sell are not too much adjustable to your need. You can only pick the levels that they have. it would be great if you chose your resource instead of being forced to get one of the packs offered
We used another cloud provider, and we created a better one in DO, cheaper, newer, and of course, a lot better. with this a was ale to change to this cloud provider with more recent resources and even a low price
Digital Ocean Spaces has reasonable pricing. Their offer starts from 5$ per month, which is very good. It is S3 compatible so that it can integrate with any of the languages and frameworks. It provides built-in CDN so that I don't have to look forward to other CDN providers.
It is still tough to use such products here in Nepal because it needs a credit card. Other than that, digital ocean spaces are a very reliable product. We mostly face problems when the filesystem for apps gets cleared with each deployment.
As it is object storage, it is a speedy storage service available. We host most of our assets to the digital ocean spaces. It's easily integrated with tools like FileZilla and transmit app.
Cost effective and decent performance. I recommend DO SPACE to team members and explains them how it more cost effective. Since our organisation is startup we have very tight funds.
There is nothing that I can mention for now, it full fills all our systems need.and also it will be great if you introduce with Restful JSON API.
We use it mostly for Storing static files and cdn
Droplet and team setup is way too easy and fun
Documentation can be more better and need time to time update
I work for a small startup and we build small projects like recently we builded Covid 19 tracked and a fresher was assigned for deployment he learnt everything in 30 minutes from scratch.
I have used spaces for a lot of my side projects. The thing that I like the most about spaces is that its the ease of setup. I use it to store most of my site's static content. Almost all of my images, documents, pdfs, videos are stored in spaces. I found it a very reliable and cheap service compared to others.
Outages happen and so spaces also face some outages, which are kinda worrying.
I am using DO Spaces for storing the site static content.
Great value for the given money, the best user experience.
I haven’t experienced anything negative.
Running personal projects mostly
The Secure authentication method, Cloud access speed
Logging in to GUI desktop is rarely possible or poor
Drone related apps
Mostly like the following features - Powerful and simplicity - Provides the high security - Manage the low-cost droplets - Beautiful user interface - Scalable storage and simple backups - Ease to use
- Limited customer support - Documentation is poor - Available on limited region
I recently used DigitalOcean Droplets to host my client's website better performance others cloud storage, so I'm happy to use this cloud storage
Most liked features about the digital ocean spaces: -Beautifully simple backups - Simplicity -Easy of use -Scalable storage -Available as a standalone service
-The console is not efficient and stable -Customer support need to be improved -Managed server options
- It provides cost-to-value services available. - Fast and cheap compared to others Hosting clouds
