Who has not needed to hold meetings with their bosses or co-workers and has not been able to do so because they are traveling on business? With this software you can solve these problems because Adobe Connect is a powerful and diversified software that offers you videoconferencing rooms while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, security and perfection in their tools. We use this software a lot in our foundation because most of the time we have to cover activities and meetings outside our headquarters, so most of our colleagues are not in the place where we do the meetings. This software offers us not only high performance videoconferencing rooms but also allows us to share reports of developed activities, research works and written observations, very important to apply the necessary correctives in our work dynamics in the Foundation. It also has one of the most complete tools in the Videoconferencing Rooms that is the option of the administrator, which allows you to create a private room where only the administrator defines who can enter or not through invitations, this makes our meetings very secure through videoconferencing.
When videoconferencing has many participants the software tends to have conflicts in its functions slowing down, this greatly affects the development of videoconferencing and the transfer of information with this software.
This software has played a fundamental part in perfecting our use of state-of-the-art technological tools such as videoconferencing. In an effort to improve our skills in handling this software, we have increased our performance and speed of delivery of reports and analysis of activities requested by our supervisors, since Adobe Connect allows us to shorten the distances between the different members of our office, without requiring all workers to be in the same place. This software has only benefited our foundation.
In general, my clients belong to large companies and corporations, where the labor requirement is a fundamental requirement to obtain excellence in the results presented. When my clients require my services in administrative and political matters, they prefer to use this software to communicate with me. Adobe Connect is a very complete and competitive software, which has excellent functions when videoconferencing with my clients. I usually have leadership skills in business meetings, and Adobe Connect gives me the ability to take on these leadership roles because I can fully manage the videoconference, giving each participant a role and thus best manage the work issues that are incumbent on us at that time. In addition to the above, another advantage of this software is that videoconferences and webinars can be public and private, and I can give security to each videoconference through a password which must be written to enter the videoconference room where we are working.
Many of my clients use this software from their android cell phones, iphone or tablets, and I have noticed that the application of this software does not have the same amount of functions as its version for pc. This slows down my dynamics in videoconferencing rooms, making the final product of my work is conditioned by the loss of time.
Since I started using this software I have been able to learn a lot about how to work in videoconferencing rooms with different types of clients, from the most demanding to the simplest. This software has made me grow as a worker because it has allowed me to perform much better with my clients who, due to their reduced time, do not have the possibility to meet with me. I am very grateful to the Adobe Connect developers for creating this software.
In my job it is very important to have software for videoconferences, tutorials and webinars. Our professionals in chemistry carry out seminars, recommendations and theoretical incorporations of great importance for the fulfillment of our labor goals, for that reason we use Adobe Connect, a quite complete software made by the Adobe Company thinking about the great professional demands of our time. You can make public and private videoconferencing rooms, allows sharing files of all kinds and synchronizes with other software to use them as tools in videoconferencing, you can also get survey results using this software in real time by measuring the performance of the software and their contributions.
For android systems this software has many limitations to use it to its full capacity. I have always had certain criticisms with those softwares that don't work very well in the computer, but in other operating systems like android they don't have the same functions, this limits their use a lot and it seems to me that they shouldn't do this.
How qualified and professional this software has made me. Using it at work has allowed me to connect with many people, I can train in many webinars and tutorials, and therefore our work has more content and quality. This software has been my open window to professional success.
It has digital whiteboard and we can share file during call. It also supports chat and can record calls
Interface is more complex as conpared to other connect software such as skype.
It allows multiple ways to collaborate and attend remote sessions. It is user friendly and with a lots of features.
The ability to upload documents, share screens, chat, and record trainings all in one place is greatly beneficial.
When we first started using, anyone could hop on. Now it requires an extension that needed IT permission to download
We are able to improve our conference calls and get more accomplished.
So many things to like. 1. Persistent rooms - build your layout and add your content ONCE, and it will always be there, ready for your next virtual meeting without you having to rebuild and reload every time. If you are doing several meetings or training events with the same material - this is a must and Adobe Connect does it. 2. Multiple hosts and presenters - no passing the ball - just make another person a host at the same time as you and now you can collaborate and work together to deliver your meeting or training. 3. MANY great pods - polls, quizzes, chat, whiteboards, file shares - and many add ons to make it even better. 4. TRUE breakout rooms that you can customize, and really drive collaboration and engagement. 5. Sharing results from breakout rooms - whatever they artoe down, recorded or created in the breakout rooms can easily be shred with the rest of the groups. 6. engagement meters - who is not really engaged or paying attention? Adobe Connect can help you figure that out. 7. Content libraries, event management - very good 8. Recordings that can be edited and downloaded 9. mobile apps that actually work There are many more features but the point is - if you want to mimic a live face-to-face event - there is no other platform that can do it as well as Adobe Connect. (I am not being paid by Adobe BTW )
As good as it is, there are some caveats. 1. It has a bit of a learning curve - so many features, so many things to remember and learn. 2. Bandwidth is always a challenge - participants need to make sure all other programs and browser windows are closed or you get lag. 3. System can just shut down or freeze for no reason (that can be found easily) and that requires restarting a meeting which is never a proud moment in delivery. 4. Adobe still hasn't made it work all the time with macs - they really need to put some people on that and FIX IT! 5. My opinion - if you are going to use Adobe Connect for serious training - you need a producer on with the facilitator for EVERY session. Not a bad thing just an important thing to consider. And since you CAN have both roles with full admin access it is actually a plus if done right.
Converting live - face-to-face training in virtual training with the same level of interaction and engagement while lower overall training and associated travel costs.
I enjoy the meeting room templates. The virtual classroom exoerience is pretty solid.
The administrative site was not a user friendly as some of ther webinar platforms.
Training muitiple people across a large geographic area.
In researching web conferencing software, it was apparent to me that most were developed with businesses in mind.. Adobe Connect would probably prove to be "clunky" for some businesses, but for an online school conducting live classes with students from all over the country and world, it is perfect. It really does a good job of simulating a traditional classroom withing a virtual platform: whiteboards, attendee list, microphones, chat boxes, one way chat box (called a Q & A pod), poll functionality. Teachers have the cabalility to arrange the room exactly as they'd like using these different features. Students have the capability to raise their hand (a feature only available with other web conferencing softwares at the enterprise level (read: expensive level). There are also several levels of managing who can access the rooms and when - both at the administrative level and at the hosting level. This is very important to us as we aim to protect the privacy of our students.
As with many adobe products, it runs on flash which can in turn be a bit cumbersome. When I am in other web conferencing softwares, the share screen function seems very seemless with little to no lag, whereas Adobe Connect can be a bit doggy at times. Overall, however, our students ("participants") are able to login with very minimal bandwidth, so that is helpful for families who have multiple children taking online courses. Another feature that I'd like to see improved is better administrative functionality. While some bulk uploads are allowed for users and group creation, it can still be a manual process for getting students into the correct group and course. Also, each "classroom" has to be created and set up manually. it would be great if some of those features were improved.
We are a K-12 homeschool and 6-12 online school. For the online school, we offer live classes once or twice/week, and Adobe Connect allows us to connect the teachers and students from the comfort of their own homes. Being that our program is classical, it was important for us to have the live component for classes versue just an asynchronous online course for our students.
Adobe Connect has a user friendly interface and is very easy to learn to use. The product serves its purpose efficiently to create documents and items to share with others
Adobe flash has to be maintained in its most recent form
I use Adobe Connect to submit research proposals to federal and nonprofit agencies. The program allows me to use information from investigators to update the forms for submission
Adobe Connect provides a range of tools within one package to manage webinars, online classrooms and remote meetings. The software has evolved over the years to become a very stable and reliable tool for online collaboration. The tools include webcam sharing, screen sharing, chat and collaborative whiteboards. Different layouts can be created for different purposes and it is easy to switch between them during a live meeting. One feature of Connect that many other such tools doesn't have is the ability to create breakout rooms for smaller discussions. A range of add-ins are also available to provide additional functionality such as Youtube video sharing or social media streaming.
There's not much to dislike in Adobe Connect. it works reliably most of the time, but like almost all other webinar tools, it can suffer from poor response times on slower internet connections. It can take a new user a while to discover the vast array of features and options hidden away in the menus, but fortunately the online help is very good and there is a large user base for support.
I've used Adobe Connect for many years to create virtual classrooms and run classes for sometimes hundreds of participants from around the world. It enables me to provide lessons to others in globally remote areas and to connect with students and educators around the world.
The ability to fully customize the event pages and branding is what I love most about Adobe Connect and what separates it from it's competitors.
Due to the great features you can utilize during a live webinar, it is tricky learning how to then easily download a useable recording for use on your website (the recording include all the "pods" unless you figure out a way to remove/hide then during the offline recording).
We run a monthly webinar series and found it difficult with GoToWebinar to create a nice event experience from registration through to the live webinar. It was very limiting in terms of customization and branding. Adobe Connect has allowed us to create a very appealing and branded event experience, as well as being able to incorporate various "pods" into the webinar to increase engagement (Social Sharing, games, weblink sharing, etc).
Adobe Connect is a stable system that works across most operating systems and browsers so you can reduce problems with 'wrong' browers or missing plugins. Nothing disturbs a classroom more than technical problems. It also offers a lot of possibilities to customize your layouts and look and feel. You can place your pods (= windows) at every position of the screen. Adobe Connect has a quite elaborated whiteboard comparing to some similar solutions To create more interactivity you can 'spread" the learner to seperate group rooms and allow them to discuss a topic. And last but not least I really appreciate the data connection between the Connect Webconferencing tool and the Adobe Connect Learning platform. You can create curriculums and invite the learners to participate in online coureses.
The output of recordings is not in mp4. A high bandwidth is required which makes it difficult for users with limited bandwidth. Personally I missing a YouTube integration - I think this will become more and more important.
Beeing a software trainer I gave a lot of online trainings to show users how to work with specific software. Screensharing is not the complete solution. I also need the whiteboard and the option to let the learner work together for several minutes in small group rooms. Adobe Connect supports me to make interactive trainings via internet.
The ease of use , price, and the features within the software has impressed me
sometimes the motion and sound does not match. Don't think it was internet problem.
I have video connected with other people for maximum input on the project and conveying the ideas
Greater engagement, higher levels of impact and ease of use per daily basis. Adobe Connect has strong integration to third party products. One can start small and build as Adobe meets scalable needs and also provides one of the best security features out there.
The design is modular, with each module having a learning curve that can be confusing at times to users. It is not for someone who is looking for a client that is small and simple to use as Adobe is broad with varied features. It is a product for grown ups and has an impact in audience, whether you know how to use it well or not.
Adobe Connect lets you reach your audiences at time of need, reducing time to productivity. Participants don't have to download things to participate. This is huge for companies where many a times, time is an important factor. There is no product that plays better with others than Adobe Connect. This makes the product so useful and flexible that you might say that Connect is the "made-for-all" in the first place.
1. Its interface is pretty smooth 2. This option makes video conferences and collaboration professional 3. Conference is made possible anywhere 4. when you get confused, tutorials will walk you through it
Depending what kind of computer you are using, a different/ supportive software might be needed in order for this software to work appropriately.
We have benefited from collaboration using this software.
The highly advanced audio and visual tools can help in producing memorable presentations for casual to important business occasions. Despite the price tag, Adobe comes with a variety of follow-up tools, simple to use interface, and innate integration with other software tools. It has screen-sharing, chat, video conferencing and an advanced whiteboard for collaboration.
Adobe Connect comes with a large price tag. For someone who needs to use the product on a daily basis, Adobe can turn out to be a rather expensive deal. Also, the lack of teleconferencing keeps it from reaching the absolute best among the list of Presentation software.
The range of features is one of Adobe Connect’s strong points. With industry-standard SSL and TLS, Adobe Connect’s 128-bit encryption channels leave customers safe and secure.
The ability to customize the "classroom" has been invaluable to me over the past few years. I really like the ability to have various screens set up and waiting in the wings and available when needed.
I have been extremely happy with the product.
We are solving providing training to remote areas of our service area. We have been able to almost achieve a "face-to-face" classroom environment with the software.
I have had great success with Adobe Connect as an online teaching tool and for collaboration. I like the option to use VoIP or connect via Audio Bridge. I have found that, when you do your prework (hardwire your computer, do Audio Setup Wizard, set your Cache to Unlimited, etc.) Adobe Connect is stable and provides a very good online delivery method. The ability to use Breakout Groups for group activities, as well as polling and setting your Status -- these features help to keep the learner engaged and focused on the content. You can record meetings, edit the recordings, and share the link publicly. A variety of goodies are available for download, some for free, from the Adobe Connect Exchange. A great product!
If users have not prepped properly -- did not restart their computer, are wireless, have a bad connection -- Adobe Connect can be a frustrating experience. Too many people want to bypass these important steps and for that reason, Adobe Connect gets a bad rap. I would like to record audio in Breakouts but you cannot, only in the main classroom. I'd like to be able to share webcams with multiple presenters but that's not possible, at this time. Would like multiple people to be able to type in a Note pod at once, not possible at this time either.
Adobe Connect is great for collaborating, since it gives you the ability to use Note Pods for sharing ideas and also you can email them directly from the Note Pod. Great for online meetings -- even lawyers are using it for depositions. It's a great and stable way to share screens, as well.
Adobe Connect is perfect the needs of just about any businesses. There are countless ways to engage with participants. Adobe Connect continues with on their line of work. It relies on web-standard Adobe Flash, a program that everyone has installed on their computers.
Though the product is amazing, it needs some time to set up.
I am using this program to organize events within the company. It works very well since it allows me to work with those that aren't even in the same location
We have been using Adobe Connect for several years, and so far everybody seems very happy with it. From Company wide Yearly/Quarterly presentations to One-on-One Remote meetings, the platform seems scalable enough for a big company. Personally, I like very much the fact that you can easily share your screen with others, or allow them to take control of yours. The tool is very intuitive, and this is proven by the fact that nobody ever needed any training on it.
From time to time, users get disconnected from the web session, which can be pretty annoying depending on the importance of the situation. Another drawback for the moment is that it doesn't work well with mobile devices. My iPhone didn't really allow me to follow a web conference while being 'on the road'.
Since we are a big global company, we need be able to work with colleagues across the world, in many different locations and time zones. Having such a tool has given us more flexibility, and reduced the need for physical presence at the work place. We can cooperate with colleagues in another continent and see their screen just as if we were sitting next to each other, which has significantly reduced travel expenses.
