Anchor Text

Anchor Text is a visible, clickable word or set of words in a hyperlink. An anchor text usually has a different color (commonly blue but is changeable) from the rest of the texts in a document. Clicking the anchor text activates the hyperlink and directs visitors to another web page. An anchor text helps visitors and search engines know what the link is about, which can help with SEO.
