I found out that the general population contributing to a cause has been effectively prepared and simplified for the overall setting of the record.
This may be due to no use, but I think there may be more communication highlights indicating Patreon account/movement to our objective market
They offer some potential venture financing for creators but this honor depends on getting another round of subsidies through public support. It is a huge benefit if you dont have much exposure.
This gives artists and content creators the opportunity to monetize their work, giving people who like content a chance to watch it while helping the artist.
Recently Jordan Peterson, Sam Harris and others left the platform for the incident, which raised the issue of review of the company's insufficient response.
Member platform.
We've found that those who contribute to the project can easily do this, and the overall setup of the account is very simplified. This is a huge help because we have very strict deadlines for this round of funding.
This may be due to a lack of utilization, but I think there may be more interactive features to tag Patreon accounts/activities into our target market. We use a lot of typical channels, social media, etc., but it would be better if you made some suggestions for best practices or research provided by software users.
When I used Patreon a few years ago, I was hired to help make a British short film. They received some initial start-up funding from CreativeEngland, but the award depends on another round of financing through crowdsourcing. We found that Patreon has coverage of what we are looking for, as well as reports on how we convert offers and rewards for donated movies, compared to other sites (ie GoFundMe, etc.).
The folks that wish to support you financially have an easy and straightforward thanks to support you financially as a patreon.
We used numerous typical channels, i.e web-based social networking, then forth but would have like if there have been some proposals on best practices or analysis done that was offered to purchasers of the merchandise.
We found that contrasted with totally different destinations, i.e. GoFundMe, then forth, Patreon had the attain we tend to were finding out, even as the providing details concerning however we tend to were ever-changing over with offers and rewards for giving to the film.
The key for Patreon is to assemble your gathering of people, at that point allow them to connect with you. Doing it the other route around is somewhat silly.
The expenses are excessively over the top, benefactors who contribute $1 will have the vast majority of that support vanish into charges. Makers won't gain much on little installments.
Time spent tweaking my blog to make something comparative would now be able to be spent recorded as a hard copy
This gives artists and content creators the opportunity to monetize their work, it gives people who like the content the opportunity to view it while helping artists.
With the recent events of Jordan Peterson, Sam Harris and others leaving the platform, it raised the issue of censorship that the company did not adequately respond to.
Membership platform.
Patreon has been at the front line of this sort of adaptation for content creators. It is anything but difficult to setup and oversee, and there are heaps of incredible choices for advantages to benefactors.
I've been utilizing Patreon for a considerable length of time and thought that it was difficult to change over my fans to wind up benefactors, and significantly harder to keep up the advantages I advertised.
Adapting my online substance, for example, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and pamphlet.
The key to Patreon is to organize your crowd gatherings and let them contact you. It’s a bit silly to do other routes.
This cost exceeds the maximum, and donors who donate $1 will lose most of their support. Producers do not get much benefit in installment payments.
The time spent comparing my blogs for comparison can now be used as a hard copy record.
The ability to collect monthly memberships
There is no community platform for bidirectional communication
Offering a monthly membership plan and getting paid for it
I use Patreon to listen to podcasts I subscribe to. I like that I can download episodes to my phone (via the Patreon App) and have them ready to play at any time. They are quickly deleted from my storage once I've listened to the episode. I like that the Patreon app will organize my downloaded episodes in order of release.
The app's organization is terrible for users who are trying to access posts that are anything other than the most recent. The only option is to scroll and scroll every time you want to see an older post (or listen to an older podcast episode), and I find that incredibly annoying. It would be nice if the app allowed you to choose if you want to view posts oldest to newest instead of the default newest to oldest and if you could filter by posts you have seen or have not seen.
I love that Patreon allows me to keep up with my favorite podcasts ad-free and easily download episodes to my device from the app to listen to any time. I recently used Patreon to download several podcast episodes before a flight to listen to my show without having service during my travel.
I really enjoyed being able to find a system that actually lowed me to follow my dreams. This system was pretty amazing when it allowed me to set up levels of patrons much like a Kickstarter campaign. I able to fund other patreon people as well as being able to fund myself. Its been absolutely amazing to have this type of too.
I dislike that people like Jordan Peterson is out there getting de platformed. As well as other Patreon people. Its not cool. Free speech should be shared across all platforms and it should not be regulated against unless they are calling for violence. This is unacceptable.
This absolutely solves the problem of getting a base and trying to get people to follow you. The idea that you could just start this website and ask your base to start helping you, is amazing! I absolutely love it!
Built in merch system is really useful for creators. It's great that you can customize your fan base's level of involvement with tiers and brand elements like color and logo and welcome notes. Very simple to use.
There could be some additional features like event creation. It's great that there is Google Analytics tracking, but there could also be more connectivity to other tools.
The major problem we are solving is paid community management. It does just that and a little more!
I like how easy Patreon is to use between a consumer and seller. I can buy access to media from content creators and sell my art to a large audience.
For Patreon to be sustainable, I have to have a sizable audience first. Instead of people being able to find a type of product and buying what they like, it's more about liking a certain creator. So, to be useful, you must have a certain audience first.
Income has risen as i've been able to commodify my art and content into something with monetary value.
Being able to support creators financially
Customer support and bad UI especially for security and privacy options
Having a reliable platform to support creators, instead of venmoing dubious IDs
Makes it easy to set up "tiered funding", and makes it easy to share virtual rewards through the website itself
Customer service system is slow, and primarily the only support you can get is via email.
Patreon allows you to get crowdfunding for on-going shows, this gives us more flexibility, and makes creating videos more sustainable long-term
Direct patronage to small creators in a seamless and stable subscription
There is nothing that I dislike from Patreon. It is very hands-off software for me.
Patreon allows me to directly subscribe, organize, and manage my patronage to my favorite small creators and businesses
Our team members have rallied together to bring some of their best creative ideas to the table. Patreon's ability to virtually connect our workers with others who are artistically and collaboratively-minded has only helped our growth process. Additionally, when we've had any issues, the site's support staff has always been incredibly helpful. Straight-forward, accessible, and a bent towards patience, their customer service has been a major bonus.
We also use Patreon for donor funding and submissions. Unfortunately, there have been some issues with payment processing, which has caused a few relational speedbumps. Initially, our team was also confused about what entities could or could not register with the platform. The online help section (aside from customer support) is still lacking.
The platform is relatively streamlined and hassle-free. Our team has used Patreon to collect donor funds, sell our own creative content, and connect with other users for potential marketing and business-minded projects.
Love the concept, can get my audience to support me no matter how small i am and I can give something to them in return
Patreon takes a chunk of my money. Would love it if they found a way to monetize outside of the % they take from creators, eventho it's fairly small of a % compared to indiegogo or other crowdfunding sites.
continuous crowdfunding. support from my audience is easier and more seamless
the ability to contribute to causes you believe in
I do not really dislike anything that much
The ability to contribute to things I believe in
We found that the people who did contribute to the project were easily able to do so and the general set up of the account was very streamlined. This was a huge help as we were under a very strict deadline for this round of funding.
This might have been down to a lack of utilization, but I felt that there could have been more interacted features for marking the Patreon account/campaign to our target market.
